Hi :^) I upped to HQmod recently. All the HQ packs work fine except for EP11. I believe it's cottage living. Any sims wearing the clothes from EP11 look very strange like they're wearing their own skin. What can I do to correct this? Thank you.

Hey! Could you re-check whether the EP11 file has been downloaded fully? In some (although rare) cases, the downloads are not complete and thus the file corrupted. I confirmed the EP11 files working in my own game.

For the HQ Mod: New Eyebrow Colors from the 1.75 Patch

The companion update of the colors for all the base game hair models is coming soon... it will just take a while longer but I am working on it!

I noticed after the May 2021 1.75 patch that a lot of my Townies were showing up either as black silhouettes or weird nudes walking around the place. I finally figured out that it was due to those 6 new hair colors that Maxis added to the game in the last patch update. I went through all the eyebrows in the base game and extracted the textures for the six new colors for each brow, resized the images, then imported the images back into the brows. I noticed some of the eyebrows weren’t properly flagged for use in the game’s genetics system so I fixed that while I was at it too. I mean, why not? This should fix half the problem with your nude/blank Townies. I’m working on the other half which has to do with those new hair colors… the actual hair which is a much bigger undertaking.

These are all eyebrows from the Base Game for all genders and age groups. Do the expansion packs have additional eyebrows? I didn’t notice them if there are. Let me know if you find more that needs fixing and I’ll see what I can do.

NOTES:

You must have the HQ Mod enabled for this fix to be of any real use to you. Due to the way I ended up having to do this, the game now thinks the additional eyebrow colors are custom content and therefore show the little wrench icons on the color swatches. If you don’t like those wrenches, may I suggest this minimalist wrench replacement mod?

Hi Remussims! I was wondering if you also have problems with the HQ mod after the recent update? I've removed mods to check if the culprit was one of them but the problem stayed. Do you know if this is known among the creators?

your timing is excellent! We (@pw-creations and I) are currently converting the game files to provide a complete resource for up-to-date HQ replacements. For now, you can find the base game files and some SP/GP here, so you can get your HQ mod running again:

We are planning to set up a HQ mod resource to combine the fragmented information that are out there at the moment and to collect everything in one place. It's in the early stage though :)

Hey y’all <3

I have a new 8192px HQ Mod for you! (TS3)

What I changed:

- You can now take pics of the entire sim without getting it “blurry”;

- You can use x4096 textures (skins, clothes and others)

- This HQ works with 8192px. 

- I use it in 1.67 update, but i think it works in 1.69 .

IMPORTANT NOTE: IF YOUR PC CAN’T HANDLE THIS MOD, PLEASE DOWNLOAD ANOTHER WITH LOWER CONFIGS!

HOW TO INSTALL:

Just drag the graphicrules.sgr file and put in your Game>Bin folder. I recommend you to do a backup of the original file.
