She could feel her eyes watering as she sat in the chair during the ceremony, it was all so beautiful. “It’s so emotional isn’t it?” she asked the person next to her “And rare. To see someone so genuinely happy at these.” Maybe she was talking too much. Giving to much away about her own marriges or bringing up awkward conversations about the relationships of some of the other guests. But Lis was a romantic at heart and when she saw love like that she got really mushy.

This day had been in talks from the moment a paparazzi had snapped an image of the golden couple many, many years ago. Not one to shy away from a challenge, the bride had decided on a wedding date mere weeks from her proposal. The wedding, surely, will be nothing but memorable — it is Barbara de Bragança after all, and the wedding is rumored to be just as talked about as her younger brother’s wedding only last year.

The wedding ceremony and reception will be held on the island of Madeira. A private resort will work as a nice hideaway for the 1% attending the wedding. The ceremony will take place in the beachfront garden, the beautiful ocean glittering behind the couple as they give their vows. The venue for the reception is just on the other side of the resort. Long tables decorated with stylish but quaint flower arrangements fill the area. The dance floor right by it. The reception will take shortly after the ceremony, and the guests will enjoy a three course meal and an open bar. A live band will be playing until the early hours of the morning.

WHEN YOU THOUGHT OUR ROYAL FAMILY WAS DOUBLING IN SIZE BEFORE, THINK AGAIN. the english royal family had been on everyone’s lips in the past few years, and not for the best of reasons. we’ve seen the first king in recent generations getting deposed in disgrace, and his brood of extremely attractive offspring had been in every single headline to come out of our beloved nation, it only made sense that the matches that follow would be ones to rock international waters. when the world’s attention had been in the statuesque bride-to-be, the crown princess of portugal; princess barbara de bragança, we invite the nation to look at yet another crown princess a little closer to home. princess catherine of scotland had made headlines as a serious politician in the past, but the twenty-six year-old oxford graduate could not be overlooked in her effortless fashion choices. 

for the royal wedding of prince vaughan and princess barbara, princess catherine was scene outside the venue on the arm of our very own prince andrew, dressed in a feathery pink ziad nakad couture. the designer had been a favourite of the princess for years, the relationship of which began with the close friendship between stylist / lady-in-waiting, lady clara kerr, with the designer himself since the year 2014. representatives of ziad nakad had pointed out the princess’ numerous favourites over the years, from the blue and gold couture 2016 ballgown that she wore to the english state dinner, to a midnight blue midi gown for the scottish palace’s correspondence dinner last year. however, the design house had declined to comment on any future collaboration regarding princess catherine’s rumoured £20,000 wedding dress. 

on the personal front, it is still to be seen if the engagement between princess catherine and prince andrew is merely a political union between the scottish and english royal families. according to a close royal correspondent; the two had been bonding over political pursuits as well as numerous common interests. online commenters had been quick to point out that the two lovebirds have been in each others’ lives ever since the uncovering of king arthurt’s heirs, especially because of princess catherine’s close relationship with princess natalia, but are unable to pinpoint exactly when the two had been formally seeing each other. 

on the other side of our border, it has been reported that the two younger scottish princesses have just recently met the future addition to their family, a source from princess matilda’s household has commented: “the princess have had the opportunity for a private conversation with her sister’s betrothed, but have yet to give her approval”. it looks like prince andrew has a few more hoops to jump through before becoming the next prince consort of scotland!

Lis smiled and nodded at the person she was talking to taking small steps backward. The trick with boring acquaintances was to make it seem like it was their idea for the conversation to end. This also meant however, she had no idea where she was going. And as she turned she bumped into someone, thanking God she had left her glass not long ago. She was already being an embarrassment. She quickly turned with a “I’m so sorry.” before she paused. This was also a great way out. “So, very sorry. Please let me assist you with that” She quickly added with a smile.

princess natasja magnusdottir stepped out in her shimmering gold number by paolo sebastian just moments before her best friend, barabara de braganca, was set to be wed to vaughn ashcroft and we at gossip iceland got the exclusiveI 

in order to match with her maid of honor, barbara chose a bridesmaid dress from her own designer (click here to see photos of the gorgeous bride!) and natasja chose the gullna tiara from the icelandic royal jewels as an accessory ( it was last worn by her grandmother in 1976!). as nervous as our favorite princess looked she was practically gushing with happiness for her best friend! 

“barbie just - she deserves happiness more than anyone i’ve ever met. i’m so glad stand by her side and fulfill that childhood dream of the perfect wedding day,” she told us. she then visibly crossed her fingers, “i hope i don’t manage to screw up my speech later!”

In the voluminous dress, the princess was not difficult to spot. Custom made by Alberta Ferretti, this is the kind of dress little girls’ dreams are made of. The dress does not need to shine as the princess’s smile is brighter than ever. There are acres of fabric here and we’re sure she felt a million dollars as she made her entrance.The pale blue ensemble was paired with bright red accessories: Manolo Blahnik shoes and a Chloé purse. The tiara she wore is one of the newest additions of the royal collection, a Greek styled diamond tiara is a nice and simple addition to the look. 

Her most noteworthy accessory is not one she is wearing: the Hungarian princess could be seen arriving with the French king. These two have sparked dating rumours for the past six months. No official comment has been issued yet --- but when have we ever been wrong about these things?
