It’s really not that funny but I’m still very amused by that one article from the daily telegraph that was like “Medieval body identified as Edward II’s gay lover” like damn, did Adam Orleton came back from the death to write that?
#not really related but wikipedia claims that adam orleton was in les rois maudits and i'm just like...where?#hugh le despenser himself was there for like 4 minutes so i find it hard to believe#maybe there's some bishop in the background of isabella and roger mortimer that's supposed to be orleton but idk
