The Sofia The First Mystic Isles specials has implemented themselves into my brain so deep, that I was trying to search up Sofia The First on Disney+, but instead ended up writing “The Mystic Isles” into the search bar.

Luz couldn’t believe her ears. Did the Boiling Isles really have no concept of extraterrestrial life? Had they never pondered worlds beyond their own? Come to think of it, just how far along was their astronomical knowledge? Given astrology was very much as real as the magic they practiced there, maybe they never saw it fit to study the stars beyond their mystical effects, but this was a vast dearth of potential knowledge they were missing out on. Good thing space happened to be one of Luz’s hyperfixations. She’d be sure to fill Amity in on all the wonders of the universe later. Just one more topic for her to talk about at length while Amity somehow stays completely enthralled and stares at her longingly all throughout for reasons she can’t explain and yep, she was blushing now.
