Memory Suggestions
I've written up the memory suggestions page for the newbie guide.
This was a hard one to write. There's a lot said about amnesia, but writing about memory itself is surprisingly tricky.
The first question: if hypnosis is phenomenological control, and hypnosis can control memory, then is memory a perception? Does the mind look past the shadow of scattered engram neurons cast by the dim flicker of axonal neurofilament light to see a liminal qualia dancing against the cavewall?
I think it must be. Memory is many things, but it's not effortless. We we struggle to interpret and understand memory just the same way we peer at a dim image to try to understand what we're looking at. We can alter memory the same way we alter the act of seeing or hearing. The only difference is that it happens inside our skulls.
Having said that, there's a big difference between memory and the senses. Memory matters.
You can hallucinate or be temporarily blind and still be relatively okay. You know the risks you're taking, and you have other senses you can rely on. But if you have amnesia, you don't have the information needed to keep you safe. You are vulnerable in ways you don't even understand.
This is even worse when it comes to altered memory and false memory. If you remember being abducted and examined by aliens, that's just as much a real memory to you as your childhood. If your memory of being hypnotized and brainwashed for 10 hours only really took two hours, your brain doesn't know the difference.
I think this is part of what makes memory play so hot. It's an exposed throat to a vampire. It's placing reality inside someone's head after the fact.
I can even see it being supremely useful in breaking through barriers. You know you can hallucinate because you remember hallucinating. You know you can be a good dog because you remember being a good dog.
But you can't get rid of false memories. If you fuck up and create a traumatic experience for your partner, that's on you. You need a deep level of trust and experience when creating false memories, and even then it can go wrong.
Another thing I don't really go into is non-declarative memory, but I think this has to be covered under conditioning in general. The idea of conditioning someone with amnesia to give them an automatic behavior sounds like great fun, but not very practical and I have no examples of anyone trying it.

What is Nembutal solution for injection?

The effects on the circulatory system are hypotension, bradycardia and syncope, among others
