My Clumsy Player
(Loona) Jung Jinsoul x Female!Reader
Requested: yes!
Berry: Hey can I request Jinsoul x fem reader where the reader is a basketball player but is clumsy and got injured during practice and Jinsoul takes care of her, very fluffy pls <3
Tumblr media
You smiled as you heard the echoes of your girlfriend, Jinsoul cheering you on. The bleachers weren’t filled with many students at your school, but there were a few that decided to watch the schools basketball team play, one of them being Jinsoul.
Jinsoul always admired your hard work, constantly visiting you from time to time to watch you play the sport you enjoyed the most. And seeing you doing something that made you happy, made Jinsoul happy as well.
Getting into the basketball team wasn’t easy. Being rejected multiple times in middle school discouraged you, feeling like you weren’t meant to play in the court with others who enjoyed it just as much as you did.
But when Jinsoul came in she told you how you shouldn’t give up, and just from that it gave you motivation to only try harder.
You always thank Jinsoul after every win or dunk you manage to make, as clichè as it seemed without her you wouldn’t be one of the best players in the team, not to brag about it of course.
Though, there was always a little flaw you had. People have loads of flaws but this one always stood in your way most of the time during practice or games.
Your coach always scolded you for it but in all honestly you couldn’t control it at times.
It was always “y/n! You’re being clumsy again! Get yourself together!” That made you feel utterly upset.
Oh how clumsy you were, no matter what time or place somehow you’ll always end up making a little clumsy mistake. As much as you hate it, Jinsoul seems to adore it.
She only doesn’t like it when you do something stupid and end up on the floor, but that’s besides the point.
Currently you were practicing your three pointers, if your lucky enough you could manage to shoot from afar, but it isn’t that easy. Three pointers were something you were weak at, constantly missing or the ball hitting the rim of the hoop always made you fustrated. Especially when there’s a actual game going on in school, missing a three pointer in front of school mates and people you didn’t know at all put you in pure embarrassment.
You stood exactly on the spot to shoot a three pointer, knees slightly bent and hands fiddling to get to the right position of holding the ball. You suddenly shoot with the basketball in mid air, you silently prayed that the ball was gonna make it through the hoop.
The ball rolled around the rim, it made you anxious if it would even go inside or just go outside like magic.
Soon it slowly stopped, your eyes widening as the ball sucessfully went in the hoop. You heard Jinsoul cheer for you as you turned around with a smile, hands in the air as you shouted in excitement “I did it! I did it!”
“not so fast” the coach came to you, shaking his head “your going to have to do that while someone is trying to steal the ball from you, you know that right?” He asked.
You nodded in agreement, all the excitement flowing away along the wind. You should’ve known something like this was going to happen.
Your coach was hard on you, never celebrating your tiny successes but using it as a advantage for you to get into a one on one match.
Which brought you to your opponent, Hyunjin, shielding you from trying to make the shoot.
You tried escaping her sharp movements and gazes, whatever you did she always managed to get in your way in time. It truly made you impressed but now wasn’t the time to be, souly focused on making that three pointer hoop and making you, your coach, and Jinsoul proud.
Taking a quick breather, you sighed, “you can do this y/n, you can do it” constantly repeating yourself in your head as you spined three sixty away from Hyunjin and ran.
Despite the turns you made Hyunjin still caught up to you, a groan escaping your lips everytime she did so.
If you can’t shoot the three pointer with Hyunjin being in the way than at least for now you could show coach your dunking right?
Well that plan wasn’t played the same way in you imagined it. You ran towards the hoop, jumping on time you smiled at yourself, it was pure success but also a fail. You were about to make this dunk but you didn’t make the three pointer while Hyunjin was in the way.
Or so you thought you’d make the dunk. As you were about to make the hoop you accidently lost focus. You began fiddling with the ball which caused it to jump out your hands making you confused, and before you even knew it you were on the hard floor.
Hyunjin couldn’t even jump with you on time, accepting the defeat. But when she saw you on the floor she panicked, rushing to you along with Jinsoul, who was extremely worried.
She watched from afar at how you were about to make it, slowly rising from her seat, the whole scene making her tense but excited to see you dunk. As soon as she saw the ball fly out your hands she knew things would go down hill. Jinsoul’s heart dropped seeing you fall on the floor, your knee hitting the floor first before any of your other limbs.
It took you awhile to realize what happened, the pain spreading around your whole leg woke you up, gaining conscious you held your breath in, bitting your lips and eyebrows furrowed from the pain.
“Y/n! Y/n! Are you okay?” Jinsoul spoke, lightly shaking you to face her side. Hyunjin squatted to your level, shaken up from your sudden fall “hey are you okay?”
You whimpered in pain when Jinsoul’s slender fingers touched your knee, the pain only increasing so much that tears started to form.
Your girlfriend got up in an instant, lifting you up bridal style with ease and telling your coach about the fall before heading to the nurse. She looked at your knee and frowned, a bruise slowly started to form. “Don’t worry y/n, you’ll be fine”
...
After visiting the nurse she did confirm that a bruise was slowly forming on your knee. “Don’t play until that bruise is healed okay?” She told you, grabbing a ice pack and pressing it against your knee.
You hissed in pain but nodded, “I’ll try my best”
At the moment you sat at the cafeteria, your bruised knee laying on one of the seats. Jinsoul came back after grabbing some snacks for you to distract yourself while she took care of your knee, just like how the nurse instructed.
You smiled when she handed you your favorite snack, opening it up in a instant and shoving it down your throat like it was the last piece of food to ever exist.
Jinsoul shook her head and laughed, you stuffed so much into your mouth it almost looked like you were squirrel, storing things in your mouth.
She moved you closer to herself, bringing the first aid kit out. “Jinsoul you didn’t have to do this” you frowned, feeling bad for her having to take care of you when it was your fault for causing this mess.
“yes I do y/n, don’t worry! It’s better that I do” she smiled, “plus your my number one priority, so I have to take care of you always”
You watched as she applied aloe vera to the bruised knee, the cool feeling hitting the part that hurt the most made you feel slightly relived.
Jinsoul grabbed a elastic bandage, wrapping it around until the bruise was no where to be seen. “Does it hurt if I press on it?” She asked, poking your knee.
You shook your head in response, “no not really, it hurts less than last time so I guess that’s improvement” you giggled.
She smiled, playfully slapping your shoulder before engulfing you in a hug. Resting her chin on your shoulder, she turned her head to give you a tiny peck on the cheek. “How come you lost focus? That’s pretty rare of you to”
Shrugging your shoulders you replied, “I know! I guess I was too excited? I don’t even know” you lowered your head. “I can’t even play this weeks game because the nurse said so”
Jinsoul senses the sadness in your voice, picking her head up she picked your own as well. “Hey it’s okay if you can’t, if you rest then you’ll be able to play better!” She said, trying to lift your sprits.
You slightly nodded your head in agreement, “yeah I guess your right” you said, staring at your knee you soon let a little laugh, “isn’t this the third time I gotten hurt from practice?”
“Elventh”
“Elventh?!” Your head shot up with your eyes widening, “no way! How do you even know?”
She scoffed “I’ve always been there whenever you got hurt idiot of course I’d know how many times you’ve specifically got hurt”
“Besides, your my clumsy player”
You raised your eyebrows, “that doesn’t sound right”
Jinsoul quickly kissed you, catching you off guard, she confidently spoke, “well it does to me.”

-
the week leading up to Valentine’s Day is the busiest day of the year for angels like Jisung-- assignment after assignment of soulmates coming across his desk as the romantic holiday looms closer. don’t get him wrong, jisung loves his job. He loves getting to watch the moment two people, fated to each other finally meet-- the soft smiles, the faint blushes and shy introductions are something that makes his entire week. this time of year, though, all he really wants is to go home for the night.
he turns off the multiple screens on his desk, videos of intended lovers fading to black as his day comes to an end. closing the door and making sure to turn the lock, jisung sighs in relief as he makes his way down the hallway to the elevators, a few fellow cupids waiting for him by the door.
“hey jisung! we’re taking a trip down to earth to walk amongst the humans for awhile. do you wanna tag along?” Minho, the oldest of the bunch asks. next to him, jisung spots hyunjin, changbin and jeongin looking at him expectantly.
jisung met the group of angels five years ago, when he first started his job. inexperienced and ridiculously nervous, he clung to his coworkers throughout all of his training. although a sarcastic and rather rowdy bunch, jisung was quickly accepted for his bright smile and love for..well, love.
he had always found it interesting, the concept of love. it was merely a human emotion, but at the same time something so inhumanly complex. the idea that everyone has a person that they absolutely can’t live without, and some of them don’t even know it yet? crazy to him, but oh so fascinating.
the early days are always his favorite to watch once he’s successfully struck two people. everything is new and fun, and so unpredictable. there’s the first dates, shy hand holding, stolen glances. you never know when someone is going to finally make the first move, shyly moving closer and closer to their lover to gauge their reaction. jisung had always wondered what love felt like-- the closest he could get was his job as a cupid. he figured that would have to suffice.
when he finally reaches the doors to the elevators, he flashes a smile at the boys in front of him. “last time we went down to earth, hyunjin literally caused a traffic jam because he smiled at a dog. are you guys sure this is a good idea?” he quips, and the boys laugh while hyunjin rolls his (absolutely gorgeous) eyes.
“first of all that's not true,” he begins, and elbows jeongin in the side when he hears a sound of contradiction leave his mouth “and we aren’t going anywhere crowded, just to a café that I saw the other day when I was working.” he says, and jisung nods his head in contemplation.
“sure, that sounds like fun. I haven’t had a good cup of coffee in awhile,” he agrees, and with that, the five make their way into the elevator.
stepping out onto the sidewalk, jisung took a moment to feel the sun on his skin. this was one of his favorite parts about earth, so warm and so bright. of course, it’s nothing compared to heaven, but sometimes the change of scenery made it easier for jisung to relax.
the group is quite chatty as they make their way to the suggested café, commenting on the different humans they pass. everyone is so unique in their own ways, and it fascinates the five angels, who rarely get to walk among them. Lucky for them, they look like any other human being, meaning no one will be able to tell the difference.
the café that hyunjin brought everyone to had a light and airy atmosphere. the walls a bright white, flourishing greenery all around the restaurant complimented the white and yellow tables and matching chairs. It felt like they were in the middle of a field of wild flowers. jisung absolutely adored it, the smells of coffee and pastries filling his nose as they found a nice table next to a window.
looking around, the jisung watched as a girl made her way across the café and sat close to the entrance, with a laptop in front of her and headphones around her neck. She seemed content, sighing to herself with a small smile on her lips as she opened her laptop and took a bite of the muffin sitting in front of her.
“wait wait wait, that’s one of my humans! I’m supposed to shoot her once th- oh my god! there’s the soon-to-be soulmate too! I can’t miss this opportunity!” Minho exclaims quietly while he reaches into the backpack he had brought with him. The other cupids turn to look at him incredulously.
The ‘soon-to-be soulmate’, as Minho put it, seemed rather dull compared to his supposed counterpart. He wasn’t bad looking, but there was something about him that just didn’t seem right to Jisung. this girl seemed to match the vibes of the café-- like a warm summer day, not a cloud in the sky. the kind of day that lasts in your memories for years to come, and this man...he just was not it. Hair disheveled, seemingly in a rush as he was tapping his foot impatiently at the counter. Jisung knew that opposites could attract, but he just didn’t see it in the cards for this one.
“is this why you wanted to come down here?” jeongin asked with wide eyes, knowing that they shouldn’t be meddling unless they’re on the clock. The others turn to Minho who has now gotten two arrows and his bow out from his bag.
“Uhm….no?” he says sheepishly once he sees the stares that are being thrown at him. He takes one of the arrows and lines it up on his bow, pulling his arm back and aiming at the girl peacefully enjoying her day.
“Minho do you really think this is the best time?” jisung asks apprehensively. almost too focused on getting a good shot, Minho didn’t answer him.
He lets go of the arrow and it zips through the air, hitting the girl in the shoulder as she starts to work on her laptop. Humans can’t physically feel the arrow when they get shot-- that almost defeats the belief in soulmates. She continues on as if nothing happened, and jisung almost rolls his eyes as he watches Minho line up his second shot.
“Look,” Minho begins, “they’re supposed to meet tomorrow anyway! why not speed up the process?” he says as he draws his arm back.
Out of nowhere, a customer in the store drops a coffee cup. The sound of the glass shattering startles pretty much everyone in the café, including the group of angels. In fact, it startles them enough that the unbelievable happens.
Minho’s arm slips, and the arrow is released...straight into Jisung’s shoulder.
The two look at each other in absolute disbelief, and Jisung wants to strangle the older cupid. A very quiet “oops” leaves Minho’s mouth.
“Are you kidding me?!?” Jisung says a little too loudly. Everyone is looking at the two of them, including the girl that Minho just struck.
When the two make eye contact, Jisung feels something...strange. He knows it’s a reaction from the love arrow, but is this what love is supposed to feel like? He feels like he wants to throw up, butterflies flying in his stomach as he notices the faint blush on the cheeks of the girl across the room. That’s when he really sees her for the first time, like, really sees her.
He isn’t sure how he didn't see it before. Her hair falls perfectly over her shoulders, and her eyes that are staring at him in slight confusion still shine brighter than any star he’d ever seen..and he’s seen a lot of stars.
He’s silent for a few moments, and the other boys start looking at each other with concern. “Wait, no, what the hell? Cupid’s can’t get struck! What is going on?” Changbin says as he watches the way the two are staring at each other.
This isn’t allowed. Cupids don’t have many rules, but one of the biggest rules for any angel is: Do not associate with humans. It’s the reason why they can’t-- or shouldn't, really-- feel love in the first place. Messing with the rules of the universe could have big consequences. It’s never happened before, but there have always been enough myths that get spread around that would deter any angel from even thinking about it. Yet, here jisung is, absolutely head over heels for a human, even if it is all Minho’s fault.
“I don't know, this hasn't happened before. Oh my god, what did I do,” Minho starts spiraling. Its at that moment that the others know they need to get the hell out of there. Scooping up Jisung, who is currently still staring at the girl who has now focused on her work instead, they rush out of the café. Once Jisung is out of eyesight of the girl, he shakes his head in confusion and comes back down to earth (pun intended).
“Ohhhh no, no no no. This is bad,” Jisung says, running his hands through his hair exasperated. “Minho what the fuck happened?!” he asks.
Putting his hands up, Minho tries to defend himself. “I don’t know! That person dropped their cup and it threw me off!” he says quickly, and it makes Jisung want to roll his eyes.
“You dumbass, that’s why we shouldn’t even be down here in the first place! If Chan finds out, we’re dead! That’s it! We’re gonna be out of jobs and not able to pay our bills and-- oh my god there she is,” Jisung exclaims once he sees the girl exit the café, looking around confused. Turning around, she spots Jisung and starts to make her way towards him.
“Oh no, nope. Not now, this is a bad time,” Hyunjin says while they try to drag Jisung away from the girl. He shimmies out of their grip as she approaches him.
“Uh, hi. I think one of you left this in the café?” she says. Looking down, Jisung sees his cellphone in her hand. “I saw it sitting at the table you guys walked away from, I’m glad I was able to find you when I came outsi-- Oh, wow, hi..” she cuts herself off, awestruck when she makes eye contact with Jisung. Hyunjin rolls his eyes as he watches the two of them. Jisung doesn’t know what to say.
“Oh, yeah this is..mine..thank you,” he says as he holds out his hand. He swears he can feel electricity run through him when her hand makes contact with his. He has never experienced a feeling so strong like this before. He knew that love was dramatic but he didn’t think it was like this.
Reminding himself that this isn’t supposed to be happening, he clears his throat. “Okay well we have to go. Thank you for my phone, goodbye!” he says quickly, leaving the girl and his friends in complete confusion has he turns on his heel and starts to almost sprint in the opposite direction. The boys quickly follow him after offering a small wave to the girl, who returns it as she turns to walk away.
“Jisung, you cannot possibly see her again” Hyunjin says once they finally catch up to him. And even though Jisung knows that, there’s something that is inevitably pulling him towards her.
When they finally make it back to heaven and Jisung gets home, he pulls his phone out to check his messages. To his shock, he finds a new contact added into his phone, with a photo of a girl who’s eyes remind him of galaxies.
Y/N, aka Café Girl
As you walk down the street, you smile feeling the warm sunshine on your shoulders. It may be the middle of February, but you seemed to be blessed with a particularly warm day. This day had been nothing out of the ordinary, but for some reason you felt lighter, walking with a bounce in your step that you haven’t had in a long time.
Your mind wanders back to the boy you saw at the café not too long ago. His honey coloured hair shined under the artificial lights in the room, and his brown eyes reminding you of the warmest hot chocolate on a cold winter day. He hadn’t left your mind since the two of you made eye contact for the first time.
It’s been awhile since you’ve found someone that caught your interest so quickly. You never believed in love at first sight, but after today you just might be changing your mind. It seemed like fate that he left his cellphone on the table in the café, and it was definitely a risk that you had put your phone number in his contacts. You’ve never done something like that before, but something was telling you that you just needed to take the chance and make the first move.
Eventually, days and then weeks pass, and you haven’t even received a text message from him. You feel a little disappointed every time you check your phone, hoping that you’ll see his number come up on your screen. You didn’t even know his name, nor when (or if) you’d ever get to see him again. You should’ve been prepared for the sinking feeling in your chest, but you had still been hopeful.
You still frequented the café, mainly because it was a calm and quiet place to work, but also because you were secretly hoping you’d run into him again-- you at least needed to learn his name. That’s all you could think about while you try to focus on your work, but to no avail. You decided to give yourself a break, letting your thoughts swirl with chocolate colored eyes.
As your eyesight wanders the café, you hear the front door bell ring and you’re forced to meet eyes with the man that has lived in your head rent free for the past two weeks. You almost can’t believe it. He seems like he’s searching for something, or someone.
As he looks around the room, you get nervous. You wonder if he’ll remember who you are, or maybe he’s already deleted your number and rejected you without even telling you? Maybe he already has a girlfriend? Maybe even a boyfriend?
The thoughts running through your head completely distract your from the fact that he’s sat down in front of you. “Uhm..excuse me?” He says quietly, and your breath gets caught in your throat when you hear his voice.
“Oh, i’m sorry, I didn’t scare you did I?” he asks, and you shake your head quickly. “No! No not at all. I, uh..hi,” you say with a light blush on your cheeks, and it makes Jisung’s heart soar to the sky.
He’s definitely not used to feeling like this. He’s been trying to avoid it for the past few weeks, hoping that if he had ignored it these weird feelings would go away. He searched for hours and hours for a loophole in getting struck with a cupid’s arrow, but even hyunjin couldn’t find anything.
After nights of tossing and turning while images of you danced through his head, he knew he needed to see you. He got lucky that you were at the café, this was the only place he had ever seen you so he was hoping he’d get to catch you here.
“You never texted me, you know. Did you delete my number?” you asked him, feigning hurt. You saw his eyes go bigger as he tried to defend himself. “N-no! I definitely did not delete it. I was just so shocked that I didn’t know what to say...how did you even know the phone was mine?” He asked, laughing quietly. Jisung won’t lie, that was a pretty bold move. He was actually impressed once the initial shock had passed.
“Oh, I definitely wasn’t not staring at you across the room or anything and saw you on your phone. Definitely not,” you say with a flirty laugh, and it immediately sparks intrigue in Jisung.
The line rolled off your lips so easily, and Jisung is convinced that it’s an effect from the arrow. “Oh, were you now? How did I not notice someone as pretty as you looking my way?” He asks, and his eyes go wide when he hears himself speak.
What was that? All of this is so foreign to him, but when the blush on your cheeks gets a little darker he decides that maybe, just maybe, this will be worth the consequences he might face if Chan ever finds out about this.
“Listen,” he begins cautiously. “I have...a lot of things that I need to tell you. But let me start with this: How about I take you out on a date?”

good little girl (pt. 2) || mark lee
Tumblr media
Word Count: 2.4K
Type: angst, fluff, not really mature themes but maybe you'd disagree 🤷🏼‍♀️
Warning: cursing, mentions of alcohol & getting drunk, i can't think of anything else
Description: Mark is hopelessly hung up on you after you left him
A/N: this is pt 2! in order to understand, pls go read pt 1 (just scroll down a bit on my blog & it's one of the newest posts)! sorry this took so long 🥺 i genuinely wanted to post it so long ago, but it was midterm season & i was drowning 😅 but, i finally got around to finishing, so here it is! i hope you all enjoy & pls remember you are perfect the way you are 💕💕💕
♡♡♡♡
Mark sighed as you walked passed him on the sidewalk, talking with some girl he didn't know. He hated how you acted as if he wasn't there and even more how upset it made him. Why couldn't he just get over you? He had kissed plenty of girls and been over it the next day. What was so special about you?
"Hey, why don't we go to a party tonight?" Jeno suggested, noticing his friend's downcast expression. "Yeji's having dinner with her mom, so I'm free."
It had been a minute since Mark went to his last party. He had been so preoccupied with his thoughts of you. Maybe a party was what he needed; other girls to get his mind off you.
He certainly was getting over his upset feelings, which were being replaced by frustrated ones. "Let's do it. A party sounds really good right now," he finally said. He was ready to make bad decisions and regret them on a later date.
For now, he just wanted to stop thinking about you. It was obvious you didn't care. You kissing him that night must have been a mistake. He wished he felt the same way.
"And, you know, maybe Y/N does like you. Yeji said so herself that Y/N's always wanted a boyfriend that her parents adore, so maybe her fear is just that they won't like you."
Jeno was clearly just trying to make him feel better, but it wasn't working. So, what? Mark had to be a completely different person just to be with you? He wanted you to like him for him, not for someone his parents wanted him to be.
As they walked by the library, he glanced at his reflection in the windows. Was it his hair? The bleached blonde look may be off-putting. His clothes? They could be worse...nothing was wrong with leather pants here and there. He remembered the cigarettes in his pocket. That was a bad habit he had always wanted to quit but never had the motivation to do so. Maybe you could be his motivation.
He had a sharp tongue, too. Respect was always something he tried to work on. Personally, he felt that he should only give his respect to those worthy, but that wasn't South Korea's culture and he was expected to respect all his elders/superiors. His partying ways, well, those seemed to be dying out on their own due to you.
Was he really willing to change some of these aspects of himself for you? It seemed silly, but he was going crazy because of you, so might as well add more to that list...right?
♡♡♡♡
Jeno decided Mark had been at the party long enough. It was 11 PM and his friend was drunk and kissing yet another random girl. The party was a bad idea. Mark wanted you, so what was he doing? If you saw photos of the party and happened to see Mark kissing some girl in the background, it would be over.
Even if Jeno was just as unsure about your feelings for Mark, he still wanted to make sure the boy had a fighting chance.
"Why doesn't she want me?" Mark whined, his head slumping on Jeno's shoulder. "Am I that awful?"
It wasn't Jeno's first time seeing Mark drunk, but it was definitely his first time seeing an upset Mark drunk. He felt clingy and pouty...and childish. "You're not awful. Some people are just scared of love," Jeno reminded him, trying his best to keep Mark from slumping over completely. He needed to get some coffee into him. "I thought you were the same way."
Mark snorted. "Yeah, me too, but then stupid, good little girl Y/N came along and ruined me. Why does she have to be so perfect?"
Obviously, you were far from perfect, so it was amusing to hear Mark say you were despite everything. "You really like her a lot, huh?"
"It's like how you feel with Yeji. You know that feeling, right? Just thinking about them makes your chest tighten with happiness. That's how I feel about Y/N," Mark confessed quietly. "It's dumb, but she makes me feel like I'm not as bad as other people think I am. I like that feeling."
Jeno understood well. Before he was dating Yeji, he was in Mark's shoes, but Yeji helped him realize he had just acted that way to fit the image society had of him. He imagined it was the same for Mark.
A sigh left Mark's mouth followed by a loud groan before he whined out, "Where are we going? I'm tired!"
"Getting some coffee to sober you up and wake you up enough to get you home," Jeno told him as they arrived at the coffee shop. He glanced inside and found it was empty, which wasn't surprising. Then, you appeared. Crap. That wasn't good. "You stay here, okay? I'm gonna grab something really quickly. If you leave, I'm telling Y/N about all the girls you kissed."
Mark merely whined in protest before slumping against the wall. Jeno made sure he was able to stand on his own before rushing inside. "Welcome!" you greeted before turning around. "Oh, hey Jeno. You're alone?"
He felt nervous. "Why wouldn't I be? Yeji's with her mom."
"I know that, but I just thought you'd be having a guys night or something."
Right, that made sense. He needed to chill out. "Anyway, what can I get for you?" you asked just as Hyunjin, Yeji's cousin, left the storage room. "Oh, did you finally clean up your mess?"
He narrowed his eyes at you after greeting Jeno. "I wouldn't have spilled those coffee stirrers if you hadn't scared me," he reminded you, poking your side in a playful manner.
You were flirting with him. That wasn't good. Jeno checked to make sure Mark hadn't seen you. Luckily, the coast seemed clear. Jeno turned and you were staring at him. Did he look suspicious?
"Jeno...your order?" you questioned.
Ah, right. Duh! "Um, whatever has a lot of caffeine in it," he finally said and you nodded. "Something sweet, I guess."
Turning, you went to prepare his order. "What do we do, Y/N?" Hyunjin questioned. You turned and looked at him, confusion and concern evident on your face. "What do we do when he asks for something sweet and the sweetest thing here is you?"
Jeno wanted to hit him, but he didn't since he was Yeji's cousin. "Shut up!" you giggled, elbowing him.
"Oh, wow, isn't that cute," Mark said from the doorway, making Jeno jump. Shit. "Honestly, fuck you, Y/N."
What was he doing? "Dude, shut the hell up," Jeno hissed, trying to get Mark to leave, but the older boy refused. "Seriously, don't do this now."
Mark, unfortunately, was drunk and stubborn. "Here I've been suffering because you left me after we kissed but you've been flirting with Yeji's cousin. Don't you have a fucking heart or a little bit of decency? If you don't like me then fucking tell me instead of acting like I don't exist!"
You and Hyunjin were both stunned. Hyunjin felt uncomfortable and a bit apologetic. "There's nothing between me and Y/N," he tried to tell Mark.
"I don't care what you say. You expect me to believe you're just friends with her after I just watched you flirt?" Mark asked. "Can't say I blame you...she's perfect."
Jeno saw Mark's vulnerable state as an opportunity to get him to leave. "Okay, let's go," he sighed. Luckily, Mark complied. "Sorry about this, Y/N. He's not in the right state of mind."
The two left, leaving you still stunned and holding a coffee cup.
Yeji and Jeno went over to Mark's apartment the next day to confront him about everything. It wasn't meant to be intense, they just thought they should talk to him. When they got there, however, he was gone. According to the building's security guard, he had left after Jeno did. That worried them.
They called you to see if you knew anything. "No, I haven't seen him since last night. Why? Did something happen?" you asked before they explained. "That's not good. I'll go check the other apartment and keep you guys posted."
So, you left to see if he was there. You were really hoping he hadn't done something dumb and gotten himself into trouble.
When you got there, you could hear muffled voices. One of them had to be Mark. The other, however, was a mystery? Was it a girl? Mark said they didn't bring just anyone there to keep it private. You hated how worried you were at the thought of it being another girl.
Even so, you input the passcode before entering. "I fucked up!" Mark cried out, storming down the hall as you entered.
A tall guy was standing in the living room. "Oh, hello," he greeted. He looked you up and down before smiling. "You must be Y/N."
You nodded, still confused. He walked over and held his hand out. "I'm Johnny, Mark's friend. I've heard a lot about you," Johnny informed you as you shook hands. "I'm glad I finally get to meet you."
"Is Mark okay?" you asked, still confused.
He laughed. "Definitely not. Let's just say he did something he's regretting pretty instantaneously." You nodded. "Mark! Your girlfriend is here!"
You blushed at that. "Fuck!" Mark cried out from the bathroom.
Johnny turned back to you, still smiling. "Well, Y/N, it was a pleasure to meet you and I hope I can meet you again to better get to know you," he said. "For now, I'll leave you to handle the boy. Have a good day."
"B-bye, it was nice meeting you," you managed out as he left. The bathroom door opened again and Mark left with his hood on, the drawstrings pulled so you could barely see his face. "Mark, what did you do?"
"N-nothing! Don't worry about it," he told you nervously. "Why are you even here?"
Right, you needed to text Jeno and Yeji. "Jeno and Yeji went over to your place but found out you left in the middle of the night, so they were worried."
He nodded. "Okay, well, I'm alive, so you can just text them and be on your way."
Your eyebrows furrowed. "What the hell did you do, Mark?" you asked, stepping closer to him. "You didn't get a face tattoo, did you?"
"No!" he cried out, backing into his room to avoid you. "Just leave me alone!"
Of course, you just had to know what he was hiding. You could see he was about to trip over his mattress, so you used that to your advantage. The moment he fell backwards on the mattress, you tackled him.
He squirmed beneath you as you reached for his hood, ignoring his protests. Your eyes widened once the hood was down. "Mark! Your hair!" you gasped. Your fingers went to his now black locks. "What did you do?"
Clearly, he dyed and cut his hair, but why? "I did it for you. I thought you wouldn't be so embarrassed to introduce me to your parents if I looked more presentable. Now I look like an idiot who changed for some girl that doesn't even like him."
"Mark, I liked your hair and I don't want you to change who you are. I do like you, Mark."
His eyebrows furrowed. "You do? But...you left me," he reminded you.
You nodded. "Because I was scared. I mean, my boyfriend getting along with my parents is important to me and I also want a boyfriend who only loves me, but I wasn't sure you could do that," you confessed. "But that's different now."
Sitting up, he held onto you to keep you on his lap. "What do you mean?"
"Yeji told her mom about us and, it just so happens, our moms are friends. Her mom told my mom everything and my mom called me this morning to tell me to stop being stupid and date you." You laughed at his surprised reaction. "I guess I was so scared that I didn't think to talk to my mom. She told me that she thinks you sound like a sweet boy. She said any boy who treats me like a queen is good in her book and that I need to stop stressing and do what makes me happy."
Mark's heart was pounding faster than ever as he asked, "What does this mean?"
You smiled, running a hand through his freshly dyed hair. "It means that, if you'll accept me and forgive me for being a bitch, I wanna be your girlfriend," you confessed, making him smile wider than he had in a while.
"I'd love nothing more," he told you softly before connecting your lips. He had missed your touch and taste and wanted nothing more than to just melt in it. He briefly broke the kiss. "And don't use that language, okay? You're supposed to be my good little girl."
Giggling, you nodded before saying, "And only your good little girl."
"Shit, things are getting real PG-13 in here," Jeno said from the doorway, making you and Mark jump. "Damn, I really didn't expect this."
Yeji squealed happily. "This is great! Think of all the double dates and our joint wedding!" she exclaimed, making you laugh. Her eyes suddenly widened. "Mark! Your hair!"
His hand instinctively went to the black locks. "It was an impulsive dye job. I thought if I dyed my hair, her parents might like me and we could date," he confessed.
"That's so sweet! You dyed your hair just for our little Y/N? He's a keeper, babe."
You smiled and nodded. "Yeah, I guess he is," you said, making him smile.
Jeno was so glad things worked out, especially after the night before. "Come on, we came to take you to breakfast, but I guess it can be our first brunch double date," he said, making Yeji clap happily.
They led the way and you followed but were stopped when Mark tugged at your wrist, pulling you into him. "One more for the road," he mumbled before kissing you again.
You smiled into the kiss and he decided it was one of his new favorite feelings ever. One thing was for sure, you were his good little girl and he was your not-so-bad little boy.

having woken up earlier than you, hyunjin has been walking around in the kitchen for a while, preparing some coffee and breakfast. after eventually deciding it's high time, he returns to your bedroom to bring you out of your own sleep.
however,
"good morni–"
seeing you already out of bed, hyunjin is the somewhat surprised upon seeing your current state; your bird's nest for hair isn't much of a pretty sight. your shoulders are slumped in the morning-exhaust. you're not wearing much more than a t-shirt of his, a fairly old one on top of that but perhaps that's why his cheeks heat up the slightest bit, nothing but adoring how absolutely big it looks on you. there's just something about it, about that basic attire on your tired self, that simply is far too cute to not notice.
rubbing your eyes open, you furrow your eyebrows in confusion, "cat got your tongue or what?" while he mumbles some barely comprehensible denial, you make your way towards him, placing a light peck on his cheek, "g'morning."
none of you say much more. hyunjin just silently watches you as you head towards the mirror to at least somewhat ease the messy strands of hair standing in every direction. that said, you're truthfully too tired to actually put much effort in it and yet, he's still looking at you like you're–
"I know I'm not a pretty sight in the morning but you're staring a damn lot, hyunjin," you slightly snicker, noticing how his eyes never left you. you go on, bringing him out of his trance, "do I really look that chaotic?"
hyunjin's cheeks grow warmer and a coy wide spreads across his face but he still answers, "not at all." with slow steps, he walks up behind you and wraps his arms around your waist, "not chaotic at all, y/n."
"then what?" you question, followed by a light chuckle at the tingling feeling of him pressing soft kisses to your neck.
"I was actually just thinking about how pretty you are," hyunjin says and rests his chin on your shoulder. his reflection in the mirror shows the smile on his lips growing wider as he goes on, "reminds me of how you're all mine."
despite scoffing at the cheesy comment, you can't help laughing, "all yours? I thought I was my own person?"
a small pout reveals itself and he hums before answering, "50% mine?"
when you only raise an eyebrow at him, hyunjin continues suggesting, "partly mine?"
"what made you so corny this early?" you snorts, "kinda creeps me out, y'know?"
"what made you so mean this early?" in an attempt of hiding his face of embarrassment, he leans into the crook of your neck and groans, "I'm trying to show you love here."
you let out a laugh before turning around in his hold, wrapping your arms around his neck while facing him, "you're always so weird during mornings." you lean forwards to softly lock your lips with his, shortly after continuing, "no need to, hyunjin, you already do enough."
he only looks back at you for a few seconds before letting out a sigh, "if you say so." the smile returns on his face - this time wider - upon hearing you laugh at his defeat.
"but well... I guess it's true."
confused, hyunjin asks, "what is?"
you grin at him, "if I were someone's, I'd be yours."
he can't help but break out in a wide smile once again upon hearing, moments later inviting himself to leave another kiss. this time, the touch lasts a bit longer, his lips soft and molding perfectly with your own. his hands travel further down to humbly settle on your waist and when hyunjin gently pulls you closer, chest flush against his, thumbs rubbing comforting circles, you realize that no one could ever make you feel as loved as he does.
parting, you're met by a evidently shy but gleeful hyunjin. however, it only takes a moment until you receive a frown and soon, a mumble, "if?”
you let out a heavy breath and roll your eyes but even then, you find it impossible to not chuckle at it. "fine, I'm yours."
finally satisfied, hyunjin nods. he presses a sweet peck to the tip of your nose, "and I'm yours."
this makes you let out yet another sigh and you lightly slap his chest before freeing yourself from his hold, "back off, I need coffee, you're seriously creeping me out today."
hyunjin laughs in amusement while following you to the kitchen.
"by the way, don't get changed today."
"what? why?"
"you look better in my clothes."
"hwang hyunjin, take that back or I'll seriously invert your ribcage.”
