Making sure his eyes don’t meet the baron’s, he took several generous gulps from the glass beer bottle in hand. The gesture acted more as a time delay--something to help him process the statement, over him truly enjoying the beverage.

Brows furrowed in concentration, his voice betrayed what he doesn’t want to mentally recall from the other’s words; a bloody and violent past that he aimed to do better, moving forward, not yet realizing there are other meanings to that phrasing.

Why is he here? It isn’t as if he’d classify his relationship with Zemo as friends, despite working together, but the guy seems to be down in the dumps and it’s not like Bucky has anything better to do.

Although he’s not too keen on drinking either of those things, Bucky slides onto the stool beside him and decides on the beer before turning his attention to Zemo. “What’s got you in such a bad mood?”

"At least you're self aware of that fact. That is more than other people can say of themselves." Tony had seen enough people who thought they were righteous and just, only to make the morally worst decisions whenever they could. A common trope really, especially in the social circle he grew up in.

"Besides, I would be worried if you were ever able to give me moral support. Would mean something is seriously wrong with me." Which was debatable anyway and depending on who got asked, there were most likely enough who would say that Tony was insane to a certain degree.

She had dropped into this building as a tip, not thinking to stumble into the holiday home of one Baron Zemo. The two of them had had a few run ins over the years. And while it wasn't always the most pleasant experience, they did bond over their love for tea and Bucky and Sams discretions towards this topic. What she hadn't expected was Zemo, passed out on the floor with a raging fever. Natasha had gotten him to bed and changed out of her widow suit in a pair of soft black cotton pants and a purple blouse. She didn't know who they belonged to but it was better then her tac gear. Opening the door with a steaming pot of tea and floral shaped mug the redhead just grunted in frustration. "Damnit! Didn't I tell you to stay put. How the hell did you end up here without your creepy butler and a skyrocketing fever anyways." Natasha quickly made her way over, putting down the tray and going to grip Zemo's arm for support who was clearly trying to make an escape.

Her body leans into his, molds against him, as her head tilts up for more contact. What comes next? She has no idea, but doesn’t matter, either. Right now, she just wants to be in the moment for once in her life.
