I beg y'all to read the article I reblogged yesterday. I've never read something written about svs that displayed such a deep understanding of the comics as this one does. There's plenty of fantastic commentary in it, and many great points are made.

#they understand the art better than anyone in the fandom seems to.#no hate to the fandom though. that includes me as well lol.#also better than much of the wider audience.#this doesnt have much to do with the article but whenever i hear someone refer to “the bad spy” i feel a little sick to my stomach #like. which one the “the bad one”?! how could you misinterpret the core message this much #i also feel a little guilty making fan work that is mostly self-serving... idk how much that violates the original intention of the work #or to what extent does it contribute to the disrespect and misappropriation #as said yesterday the article was incredibly thought provoking
