#i always draw scorpius with brown eyes but i dont think anyones noticed

i know the fandom likes to give scorpius grey eyes because he resembles his father so much, and while i agree that i think he’d be a spitting image of draco — you could put a pictures of them both at the same age next to each other and not be able to tell them apart — i like to think the one thing he inherited from astoria was her brown eyes. grey eyes are sharp and intimidating which suit draco and his demeanor from his childhood and into his adult life. but brown eyes are soft and warm and that’s the biggest difference between draco and scorpius. right off the bat a stranger can see how animated and welcoming scorpius is and i truly think it’s the eyes even if you might not be able to pinpoint it at first. he’s inherited his mother’s joy and patience and it’s reflected in her kind eyes. draco is pleased he’s got a least one of her features and isn’t a complete carbon copy of him for his own self hatred reasons. scorpius is pleased he’s got something to show for his mother and remember her with even if it only happens when he looks in the mirror.

not to mention the parallels between him and harry with people telling him looks like his father but he’s got his mothers eyes. especially after she’s passed

Yay another game! Are you named after anyone: I named myself after characters I like and relate to a lot which is very nerdy. My old name, James Simon had even more relations but I just liked the name James Scorpius more! Also my dead name was after a famous and actually quite cool person.
