i am a cbt hater FOR LIFE
#one could probably pin down my doctor's visit schedule by when my cbt hateposting increases#girlie handed me a worksheet of thought distortions or whatever and every time i said something abt it she just read shit aloud from it like#it was a script 😭#i said when i can't stop thinking about shit like my dad i try to do something like listen to youtube videos and paint or play video games#and she said “that's avoidance tho”. OF THE TRAUMA FLASHBACKS???? yeah guilty as charged my bad#i'm sure cbt works for some people but i am not one of them this is a waste of both of our times#this woman has no fucking idea what to do with me it would be funny if it wasn't so frustrating#kind of hard to reframe thoughts that aren't based in reality when they ARE.#we sat in silence for a full minute at onw point and she just said “...you have an adhd diagnosis right?” that fucking obvious huh 💀#i am having a lovely time with the mental healthcare system atm
