okay so all up i wrote 1.7k words of useable text today (plus roughly 500 that i have to scrap and reuse later) and that’s 3 scenes completed + 1 started. tbh i’d keep going but my sleeping tablets r starting to kick in fvgfvg anyway i’m p happy w how it’s flowing and most of it feels like it’s unfolding naturally (even if i’ve been stuck in the same pov for a ridiculous time now)

#i did have a bit of trouble between scene 1 & 2 just bc i feel like smth else goes between them w a pov change but idk what #anyway i’m happy w it #i am worried that i’m focussed too much on how amber feels abt dal’s injury and that it might read like im making his injury abt the white #person in the rl. but at the same time i don’t want it to be too clinical and like she doesn’t care?#i’ll have to reread it to work it out bc a lot of it is drawing off when family of mine have been injured and i’m worried #which has actually been helpful bc in my last rewatch i decided amber has anxiety so i gave her my quirks w that bc it felt natural fvgfvg #to offset this btw i keep trying to round it back to dal would do the same and focussing on what dal has done when doing the healer bit #so i’m hoping that works #i’ll have to wait and see ig #that said i feel like her panic abt losing him does seem to be creeping thru in a way that feels v natural w trying to keep it at bay while #trying to help/be strong for those u love so i’m plsed abt that even if the particulars change #anyway #emily actually writes
