I think that Kevin and Cess should not have had any romantic nature to their relationship but instead been platonic best friends who are super physically affectionate (bc Kevin is touch starved and Cess is one of the only ppl he can touch) and the type of mlm/wlw solidarity where people always assume they're dating but they are Just really good friends and they both have same gender partners actually
