Lol! Emma can be such a b*tch sometimes, but she’s just so self-aware & funny in her levels of b*tchiness that I just can’t help but love her!
As the White Queen herself once proudly stated to Jean Grey:
From Astonishing X-Men (2004) #5 by Joss Whedon (unfortunately...) & John Cassaday, and New X-Men (2001) #116 by Grant Morrison & Frank Quitely.

So, I’ve just learned something that really rubs salt in the wound of Grant Morrison’s assassination of Talia al Ghul’s character.
You may or may not be aware of the character Cassandra Nova:
Cassandra Nova was created by Grant Morrison for their New X-Men comic in the early 2000s. She is Professor X’s twin, and her entire purpose in life is to destroy her brother and everything he holds dear. Morrison has stated that they originally planned for Cassandra Nova to be rehabilitated and join the Xavier Institute. But, see, here’s the thing:
Cassandra Nova committed mutant genocide. In the span of a day, she killed 16,521,062 mutants on the island of Genosha.
So, essentially, the same writer who irreparably destroyed Talia al Ghul’s character wanted to rehabilitate someone who committed genocide and subsequently have said eugenicist join the people she committed genocide against.

The mutant cause and the welfare of the students will always be the most important thing for Emma, which is why I love her so much. This part is especially meaningful because it’s after this:
New X-Men (2001) #155

2004's New X-Men #154 (the 42th/last issue Grant Morrison's run) turn 20 years old today by the way (release date : March 17 2004). Feel old yet ?
