Liking you was originally something that made him feel happy.

Watching you in silence, from afar, your every move, his heart pounding.

It was supposed to be a happy thing.

Until......

Until he realized that Minho was looking at you exactly the same way he was.

The only thing was that, maybe he was more successful at hiding it.

You never picked up on his feelings.

Either that, or...maybe you never saw anyone other than Minho.

He hated himself for acting like this.

Everything was uncertain, all he had to do was ask.

But he couldn't do it, he didn't want to make things awkward between the three of you.

He didn't want to do anything to hurt his members, especially when it came to their feelings.

But while he was running away from his feelings, he couldn't help but feel despondent when he saw you and Minho getting close.

He was so jealous.

Changbin was straightforward, kind, and cheerful, he could always make you smile.

Minho was bad-natured, always seemed mean to you, and could never bring himself to tell you what he really wanted to say, you always seemed frustrated when you were with him.

He knew this was all his fault, that you were closer to Changbin and not him.

But even so, he didn't accept it. He was not gonna give up.

He always thought he'd find an opportunity, the right time to confess his feelings, to tell you how he actually felt.

If he could, he wished that Yang Jeongin would never have to go through such pain in his life.

It's too painful to have to watch the person you love and your dearest brother fall in love deeper and deeper every day.

He didn't want to hurt either of you, he didn't want you two to be separated because of him.

But every time he saw you two being happy together, he was so jealous.

If only it wasn't Yang Jeongin that you loved.

If it had been anyone else, he would have had the courage to steal you away and compete with them for your heart.

But it was Yang Jeongin, his favorite brother, whom you loved.

So instead of competing, he kept on telling lies to himself, telling himself that "it was enough to see you two happy".

If it was for the happiness of the two of you, he would take all the pain.

Jeongin was full of gratitude to Chan, the person who chose him to be a part of Stray Kids and believed in him to debut with him.

Chan can even be said to have made Yang Jeongin who he is today.

If it wasn't for Chan, he might not ever make it.

Chan hyung is gentle, talented, he can sing, dance, rap, compose music, write lyrics, and has a down-to-earth heart that always warms others.

So it's not surprising at all that you would fall in love with him.

But why did it have to be you? Why did it have to be Chan?

Why did he have to be in love with you?

Why did Chan have to fall in love with you?

It was like fate was playing a joke on him.

He knew that love should be equal, that he should have equal rights with Chan to pursue his love.
