Got the writing feels but the wrong kind so writing two scenes for the trans Rooster fic and we got:
a) a scene from chapter 13/14 were a few weeks after Bradley comes out and chooses his name with Mav and Ice's help, Slider comes to visit to see Bradley for the first time since and he brings a 'It's A Boy!' balloon with him like the shithead he is. Mav is cooking, Ice bickers, and Bradley is just trying to be happy; edit: it's here
b) an extra post-fic scene where Jake, who's finally learned how to do Bradley's T shots, and it gets spicy and then sweet because it's, well, an injection that goes into the gluteus (the butt) and Bradley is butt naked for the thing. Never thought there was a way to make T shots smutty but here we are
I'll probably post them when they're finished if I still like them by the morning

Masky x GN!Reader
Warning: suggestive content/mentions of violence & angst Words: 1,388
Silence filled your ears as you gazed distantly at the tiled wall. You felt heavy, the bath water having went cold a while ago. You couldn't stop the tears that dripped down your face, hopelessness and despair filling up your being.
Life seemed to be getting harder and harder by the day, you longed to turn back the clocks. Rewrite the wrongs.
But you couldn't, you can't go back and stop yourself leaving no matter how much your heart ached at the thought.
At one point you had really believed you would be together, forever. You shook your head and let out more of a wheeze than a chuckle. You couldn't have stayed, he would've killed you without even a second thought.
Your mind couldn't help but wonder back to when it was all fine, when the world was right. You shook your head, water droplets flying around and your strands sticking to your face. He was a murderer, it had never been fine.
More tears fell, you could remember when he'd hold you like he'd never let go. You couldn't help but wonder if it had been something you had said? Maybe something you had done?
You pushed those thoughts away, he was the one who had regrets being with you. Not you. You hadn't regretted a minute of being by his side, you craved his touch. Even still after so many years.
You almost leaped out of the tub, loud banging coming from your front door. Your eyes widened, everytime someone knocked on that stupid door your heart would pick up. You felt like an idiot, still waiting for him like some obidient puppy.
Except he had all but dropped you off at some shelter without even a goodbye, you had known towards the end that it was finishing. Yet you had buried your head, plugged your ears and refused to acknowledge what was happening around you.
He had became so distant, to the point where you'd almost burst into tears of joy when he even bothered to show up. The fact he went months without a word from you should've been a hint but you had loved him so much, you were blindsided and then like that it all disappeared.
You could still hear his angry words buzzing in the back of your mind like a virus that contaminated every inch of your body.
"I never loved you."
Those words still cut as deep, stuck on your mind like a broken record player. The banging on the door got louder and you begrudgingly got out of the bath water, the cold air not bothering you.
You couldn't help but wonder who the hell was currently trying to break your door down. Your mind concocted a scenario in which it was him, your Masky breaking down the door. There to take you away forever.
You glanced in the mirror, flinching at your reflection. Your hair looked dull and on the verge of snapping, deep purple bags around your eyes and your skin was ungodly pale.
Your eyes were red with the tears you had previously been shedding, you unlocked the door and opened it.
You looked at the older woman, her face full of wrinkles yet her smile was youthful. You couldn't stop the small smile that graced your face.
"Hello (Name), I brought you some food over. It's your favourite." You smiled at her the best you could, she gave you a sympathetic look. "Thanks gran, I appreciate it." She had sort of adopted you the moment you had walked through the door, she always went out of her way to make sure you had taken care of yourself.
"I didn't interrupt did it?" You knew she didn't really care, this was her way of making sure you weren't lying dead in the middle of your apartment.
You shook your head and made small talk with her before she left, after closing the door you fell down against it. Your body shook and you couldn't help but let the sobs out.
You couldn't help it, the food reminded you of the time Masky had almost poisoned you. He hadn't meant it, he had meant well at the time.
You tugged on your lip, feeling exhausted after crying so much. You shook your head, you'd be fine tomorrow. Everything would be fine.
You needed to get back out there, you couldn't keep letting yourself go through this. You deserved to move on, to find someone who really did love you.
But Masky's face had been permanently etched into your memory, he was burned into every inch of your body. Part of you wished you could see him at least one last time, but you knew if you saw him you probably wouldn't be able to let go again.
You looked at the clock down the hall, eyes widening. You had been in the bath for three hours, it was 10 O'clock at night. You bit your lip, it was a Saturday.
Before you had a chance to talk yourself out of it you quickly got up, making your way to the kitchen to put the food away. You'd get drunk a lot quicker if you didn't eat.
——————
You were currently leaning against a wall while heaving your guts up, you were incredibly intoxicated almost stupidly so. But you felt happy, despite the burning in your throat. The alcohol had clouded your mind, Masky having been long forgotten.
You stumbled back from the wall, wiping any left over throw up off your mouth. You giggled, you were going to feel horrible tomorrow.
You swayed side to side as you carried on your way home. "What's a pretty little thing like you doing out here?" You turned around to the owner of the voice, your eyes widening. It wasn't him but he looked so much like him, you bit your lip.
"Pretty lonely." You sent him a drunk grin, mind not bothering to process the situation or the potential danger that possibly could come your way.
Masky had entered your mind again and you found yourself wishing he would leave it forever. The man grinned, walking over to you. "Oh?" He wasn't much older than you, mentally you shrugged. "Keep me company?" Your words were horribly slurred, before you could blink he had you pressed up against the wall.
The warmth his body gave off was almost scorching, you wanted more. You wanted warmth, another body against your own, you just really wanted to feel love again.
When he pressed his lips to yours you couldn't help but reciprocate, his hands gripped your hips and pressed you into the wall. The taller man easily lifted you up and wrapped your legs around him, taking a moment to suck dark bruises into your neck.
It didn't feel good, not like when he was the one bruising you up. You moved, trying to readjust yourself for comfort. Your head shot up, noticing two figures walking towards you.
You tried to get the man's attention but he seemed to caught up in you, you knew the figures had seen you. Your face flushed in anger and put all your effort into detaching from the stranger, shoving him away.
"I said fucking stop." You growled at the man, a scowl etched into your features. The man pouted. "C'mon baby." His hands reattached to your hips and you slapped them away, backing up from him.
Your eyes widened, it seemed like everything was happening in slow motion. One of the figures had slammed a pipe into the man's head, you quickly backed up.
"(Name)?" A deep, rough voice called out, you knew that voice better than your own. You shook your head, this was just cruel. Not bothering to respond you quickly ran, feet slamming against the pavement.
You needed to get away, you couldn't see him. Even if you had wanted to it seemed as if your body didn't, you were running faster than you ever had.

Stay Stay Stay - John B Routledge
Tumblr media
Word Count: 2485
Warnings: Mentions of Drug, mentions of underage drinking
A/N: this is slightly Rafe x reader too, but it’s mostly about our boy John B
MASTERLIST
I'm pretty sure we almost broke up last night
I threw my phone across the room at you
I was expecting some dramatic turn away
But you stayed
This morning I said we should talk about it
'Cause I read you should never leave a fight unresolved
That's when you came in wearing a football helmet
And said, "Okay, let's talk"
And I said
Stay, stay, stay
I've been loving you for quite some time, time, time
You think that it's funny when I'm mad, mad, mad
But I think that it's best if we both stay
Tension were running high around the Chateau after Big John went missing. John B was a wreck, DCS was on him about the where abouts of his uncle, and the looming death of his father. He wasn’t ready to admit that he was dead. His father went missing almost eight months ago, and you had been there for him every step of the way. It had taken a toll on you too, you hated seeing your boyfriend this upset. You spent almost every night at the Chateau with him. John B would wake up in the middle of the night screaming from a nightmare, one time you almost fell out of the bed. Between you and his best friend JJ, you never left him alone.
It was coming to the end of the school year and John B had missed yet another day of school. He, JJ and Pope had ditched to go surfing, leaving you to make excuses for them. You had walked back to the Chateau after school finding the three of them sitting in lawn chairs by the dock. “Uh-oh Y/N alert.” JJ whacked John B’s arm nodding in your direction. Steam was practically rolling out of your ears, stomping over in their direction. “Where the hell were you guys today? Huh? Did you remember we had a science test this afternoon?” You ask looking at the two of them. “In my defence, I’m not in the same science as you guys so I didn’t have a test.” Pope put his hands up trying to make light of this situation. John B and JJ looked like deer in headlights. Normally you wouldn’t care if they ditched, you would have gone to if you didn’t get caught sneaking out a few nights ago, but John B was close to flunking the grade and you knew it was JJ’s idea to go surfing. “Come on Y/N, they’re not going to fail a kid who’s dad is missing. I’ll tell them I needed a mental health day like last time.” He tried reasoning with you. “Yeah Y/N/N the teachers don’t want to be there either, they won’t care if we missed a one day.” JJ spoke up siding with his best friend. “Stay out of this Maybank. How are you going to rewrite the test? If you fail, you’re going to have to take the class next year. You guys can’t expect me to cover for you every time.” You yell at them. They’d only seen you this angry a couple of times but knew to say as far away as possible. “I don’t know, I’ll figure something out. Come on Pope your dad still needs help with the groceries. Good luck John B.” Pope and JJ get up and leave sending a sorry look to their friend and avoiding your death glares.
John B waves goodbye to them looking back at you still angry with him. He grabs his surfboard and the couple of empty beer cans trying to clean up. You walked to the chateau throwing your bag on the couch going to make something to eat. “Look Y/N it’s not big deal, I’m not worried about school and you shouldn’t be either. I wish you would get off my ass about this stuff, you’re not my mother.” You couldn’t believe what he had just said to you. You knew you weren’t his mother, but you were trying to support him. “Are you kidding me John B? I know I’m not your mother, but I don’t see too many people around here who care about you. You know what? You can be such an asshole sometimes. At least if you keep your grades up DCS won’t bother you so much” “Yeah well maybe I don’t care if they come and take me away. At least I wouldn’t have you pestering me all the time. John B make sure you make it too school, John B do this do that. I’m sick of it Y/N!” He shouted at you. That was the last straw you picked up the first thing your hand touched and threw it at him. John B ducked and turned around and walked towards his room slamming the door shut.
You broke down crying, maybe you were being too overbearing, but you were worried about him. You grabbed the extra blanket off the hammock and decided to sleep on the couch. You tossed and turned all night. It was good thing it was Saturday, and you didn’t have to be anywhere. You woke up to that stupid rooster outside. You hated that thing. You got up and made some coffee walking to John B’s door. You knocked softly but never opened it. “John, love, can we talk about this? I made coffee. I’m sorry about last night just come outside and we can talk about things.” You walked back into the leaving room scrolling through your phone. You heard his door open and the shuffling of his feet down the hall. You looked up and gave him a dirty look, he was wearing an old football helmet of his dads. “Okay let’s talk.” He said keeping a decent amount of distance from you. “John Booker Routledge take that stupid thing off, I’m sorry for throwing the remote at you.” He slow takes the helmet off. “I will only because it makes my head itchy, you better not throw that phone at me.” He laughed being half serious. You looked at him taking in his features. He always looked so handsome in morning, but today he looked tired. “I don’t mean to be overbearing.” You spoke up, looking out the window. “I just don’t know how to help you; I’ve loved you for so long that I don’t know what I would do if DCS takes you away. I’m not going to be okay John B, not without you. So yeah, maybe I worry, but I do it because I care.” At this point you were crying not able to look at him. He walked over and sat next to you on the couch and took you in his arms. He held you while you cried. “Hey now, don’t cry I’m not going anywhere Y/N. I’m right here babe, DCS isn’t taking me anywhere. I’ve got you.” He kept repeating that, rubbing your back try to sooth you.
Before you, I'd only dated self indulgent takers Who took all of their problem out on me But you carry my groceries and now I'm always laughing And I love you, because you have given me no choice but to
Stay, stay, stay I've been loving you for quite some time, time, time You think that it's funny when I'm mad, mad, mad But I think that it's best if we both stay Stay, stay, stay
Before you started dating John B, you were with Rafe Cameron, Kook King. You thought he made you so happy. Things were great at first, he always took you out on little dates, and made you his number one priority. He thought the sun set and rose for you everyday. That was until things with his dad got bad and he started doing drugs. It was less of the cute date nights and meaningful times, and more fighting. He would invite you out for a drive, and you guys would end up at Barry’s so he could get his fix. You tried your to best to help him stay away from the drugs, but he was too far gone. You guys had gone to a party at the boneyard one night, it was a rare occasion when Rafe would actually leave the house. Everything was going fine until you started to talk to the Pouges. How could you not, they were hosting the party. You were talking to John B and Pope when Rafe came up and started a fight. You talked Rafe down and ended up going home. A couple days later John B was helping Pope deliver groceries when he saw you carry some into your house. He made Pope stop so he could go talk to you. “Hey Y/N, you need some help with those?” He motioned to the groceries. You had a few more bags to carry in, and really didn’t want to do it yourself. You were surprised to see him there after the other night. “I would love that yeah. Look John B, I’m really sorry about the other night. If I had known Rafe was going to start something, I would have never come.” You spoke. You didn’t need to explain anything to him, but you felt obligated to apologize for you boyfriend. “Oh yeah don’t worry about it, I was happy to see you there! Maybe next time leave Rafe at home.” He laughed trying to ease your mind about things. It made him sad to think of you always making excuse for Rafe. He walked into your kitchen looking around. He had never been in your house before. “Well thanks for the help John B, I’ll see you around.” You looked at him. He put the extra bags on the kitchen table turning on his heels to leave. “We’re having another kegger tonight if you want to come, I won’t be manning the drink station maybe we could hang out or something.” He asked not looking at you, “I would love to, what time?” He looked surprised that you said yes. “Same time, sundown. I’ll see you there.” He smiled walking towards the door, you follow right behind him. You held the screen door as he walked down the stairs turning around “Oh and don’t bring Rafe this time.” You laugh and salute him “Aye,Aye Captain.”
You showed up late to the kegger. After a long discussion with your friends you finally decided to leave Rafe. He wasn’t happy about it, hollering at you. Telling you everything you did wrong to him and in the relationship. You knew it wasn’t him talking, it was the drugs but you couldn’t put up the walls anymore, you couldn’t lie to yourself thinking everything was okay and he was going to get better. You look around for some of your friends talking to them for a bit before getting a drink. You spot John B next to the Kegger talking to his friend JJ. You walked up to them, JJ nudging John B when he saw you walking up. “Y/N, you made it! I thought you weren’t coming.” He smiled at you. “Sorry I’m late, but you know I will take a beer if you’re handing them out.” You huff motioning to the keg behind him. “Yes of course, one glass of the finest beer on the island, for the prettiest girl at the party.” He looked at you and winked. You look down trying to hide your blush. “Do you want to go sit by the fire, it’s a bit warmer over there.” He asked, holding his hand out for you to take. You gladly accept and let him guide to a spot to sitt. John B starts telling you a funny story about the Pouges and something they did and you’re laughing the whole time. You hadn’t been this happy in a while. It was a nice change of pace from the way Rafe had been treating you the last couple of months. It was at that point that you knew you wanted to spend more time with John B.
You took the time to memorize me
My fears, my hopes and dreams
I just like hanging out with you
All the time
All those times that you didn't leave
It's been occurring to me
I'd like to hang out with you
For my whole life
Stay
And I'll be loving you for quite some time
No one else is gonna love me when I get mad, mad, mad
So I think that it's best if we both stay, stay, stay
Stay, stay, stay
After that night you and John B spent as much time together as you could. You learned everything about one another, not leaving out a single detail. You told him about what happened with Rafe. You told him that it wasn’t always bad, that at one point in time you guys loved each other, but Rafe found a new love for drugs and you couldn’t watch him destroy his life. You told him about your struggle to keep it together, that you felt you had to keep everyone happy all the time. That you had to mother everyone because you didn’t want to lose someone like you lost Rafe. You blamed yourself and John B was having none of it. He helped you moved on. He told you about his dream to get off the island and become a teacher. He said even though he hated school he loved teaching people, he liked having an impact on other peoples lives. He always found it adorable when you would get mad at him for things. It was rare that you got upset but John B couldn’t help but think you looked sexy and cute. It scared him to think how much he loved you. He knew he was trusting his heart to the right person though. He couldn’t imagine spending his life with anyone else. You were so selfless, always making sure the Pouges were taken care of before your self. Learning different things, they liked so you would always have something to talk about with them. When John B asked why you did this you replied, “there your friends John! I want them to like me silly!”. He didn’t think you had to try, they loved you. You were different from the other girls he had dated. You were his, and he was going to do whatever it took to make you stay with him forever.
Stay, stay, stay I've been loving you for quite some time, time, time You think that it's funny when I'm mad, mad, mad But I think that it's best if we both stay Stay, stay, stay, stay, stay
Stay, stay, stay I've been loving you for quite some time, time, time You think that it's funny when I'm mad, mad, mad I think that it's best if we both stay

Easy to Hate
Tumblr media
A/N: This fic is finally finished after a week of writing and rewriting and crying,,,,,,,,,lord save me i am trash for kim donghan. anyways tagging @smols-n-tols bc some of them proof read the first half for me bLESS them. also i hope you guys enjoy it~
Pairing: PD101′s Kim Donghan x Reader
Genre: Angst, Enemies to Lovers!AU, kinda steamy
Word Count: Roughly 7k
Summary: Your hatred for Kim Donghan was strong. Just the mention of him made your blood boil, but when his dance crew end up sharing a studio with yours, it seems like sometimes, it’s easy to blur the lines between love and hate.
Your muscles ache, your throat’s dry, and your body is covered in sweat as you repeated the same move over and over again. “Y/N, take a break,” your crew members shouted over the music. However, you ignored their calls of concern as you continued to stretch your arms out more, trying to create bigger movement. The annual dance competition was coming up, and your crew, Beatrix, was eyeing for the prize, $5,000. That money meant moving out of your current dance studio and into a brand new one that hopefully will have air conditioning and proper lighting. A dance studio like that was something you desperately need, and as the leader of your Beatrix, you were dead set on doing anything you can to win.
“Why is Y/N trying so hard?” Lisa, a member of your crew, asked, “We have weeks until the actual competition date.”
Momo stretched out her long limbs and replied, “JBJ entered this year, so Y/N is really trying to step it up a notch.” You ignored your friends’ voices as you moved your body along to the beat, the movements of the choreography coming easily to you. YooA, who was splayed out on the floor, practically begged you to stop. Finally, Pinky pulled the plug to your speaker.
“What the heck, Pinky? I was in the middle of the routine!” Your chest heaved heavily as you stood there in the middle of the dance studio glaring at your crew. “The competition is 3 weeks, and we’re nowhere near perfect!” you said, throwing your hands in the air in frustration.
“But we don’t have to be perfect,” Lisa piped up, “We have weeks to practice, and we’ll be perfect by the competition.”
You shot her a glare, effectively shutting her up, “JBJ’s already done with their routine, and they’re preparing a back-up one. If you think I’m just going to idly stand around as they’re running towards first place, you’re wrong.”
“Girls, your time’s up,” the landlord said, sticking his head through the door. You simply just gave him a thumbs up, packing your bag as your crew laid on the floor, breathing heavily due to the extra two hours of practice.
“Good job, guys. I’ll have the backup routine choreographed and ready to go by Thursday. See you guys then!” you said as they left one by one. The air was already chilly the moment you stepped outside. A quick ten minute jog from the dance studio landed you in the middle of the park, wide open space for you to continue practicing. You methodically stretched while listening over the song again. “Bigger movements, more power, more precision,” you chanted to yourself; then you got into position and the song replayed. This was easy, same steps, same arm movements, same expressions; it was all ingrained into your muscles, ingrained into your memory. When the music stopped, you heard slow clapping from behind you. Pulling out one earbud and whipping your body around, you saw Kim Donghan standing there, slowly clapping his hands with a smirk on his mouth.
“Nice to see how pathetic your choreography is, Y/N,” he said, malice tinting his voice.
You, enraged, ripped out your earbuds, stormed up to him, and jabbed a finger into his chest, “Listen here, Donghan. Pathetic is when you incorporate the same shirt lift into every single one of your choreos because your talent can’t win over the judges. Pathetic is when you recycle the same dance moves and props over and over again, yet you always get praised for your ‘creativity.’ Pathetic is when you use your group’s name to win competitions instead of your own talents, so I can inform you perfectly, Kim Donghan, my choreography was nothing close to pathetic!” You were panting at this point, fury boiling your blood as you glared up at your rival.
He only smiled sweetly at you before bending down, his nose barely grazing yours. “Well, Y/N, I think you’re mistaken,” he took one step forward as you took one step back, both of your faces still in close proximity, “Pathetic is when you use the same type of music over and over again; if I’m not mistaken, you guys are doing another Beyonce song?” You bit your lip, holding back the barrage of insults collecting on your tongue. “Pathetic is when you pull the ‘poor but hardworking’ card every single time to win pity points. Pathetic is when you can’t rely on your own skills as a dancer, so you preach about your all-girls team instead. Y/N, baby, I don’t know how to break it to you, but you’re the epitome of pathetic.”
You pushed him away from you, turning around briskly and picking up your bag. “Sometimes I forget how much of an asshat you are Donghan, and then you open up your big fat mouth,” you sassed, turning back to face him, “And considering the competition is coming up soon, I guess we’ll see then who’s the real pathetic one,” you paused, crossing your arms over your chest and sending him a smug look, “and I promise you, Kim Donghan, it is not gonna be me.” With a flip of your hair and a swing of your hips, you turned around and walked out of the park, away from Kim Donghan.
“He’s an absolute pain the ass, Lisa. I don’t care how cute you think he is; once you look past the perfect hair and proportions, he’s just an ugly person,” you said, trying to find a not-Beyonce song for your choreo.
“But c’mon, don’t you get a little excited when watching JBJ perform? Especially at their shirt lift part? Yum!” Lisa exclaimed, clutching her hands together and holding them close to her chest, staring wistfully into space.
Momo, who was currently doing stretches with Pinky, chimed in, “Isn’t it Sanggyun who lifts his shirt up the most? I don’t remember Donghan doing it.”
You rolled your eyes at their conversation, “And thank god for that. If I ever have to see more of him than what’s covered already, I think I’d rather gouge out my eyes.” Their chatter continued, floating in the background as you continued searching for a new song.
“Girls,” the landlord called as he entered the studio, you and your girls greeted him eagerly, “I’m afraid I have some bad news,” he paused to gauge your reaction, “I’m sorry to tell you that you’re going to have to share the studio space now.”
You instantly jolted out of your seat, “What? But we paid for full usage!” you exclaimed.
He could only sigh, “I know, Y/N, I cut your rent in half to compensate, but this dance crew had nowhere to go since their studio’s under renovations. They came to me asking for help.”
YooA, sensing your building anger, decided to enter the conversation then, “It’s fine! We’ll organize the scheduling with them when they get here.”
“Woah, this studio’s a lot more dingy than ours, isn’t it?” Kenta marvelled, staring at the slight cracks in the walls and ceiling. Donghan looked around too, noting the scuff marks on the floor.
“Aren’t we sharing this studio with another crew?” he asked.
Taehyun, their leader, nodded, “Yeah, they’re out for snacks right now, so we’ll introduce ourselves when they return.” Yongguk stared pitifully at his reflection which was marred with the specks that littered the mirror. “We’ll make do, guys. This is just until the renovations are done,” Taehyun said, already stretching out his legs, “Let’s just do a couple warm ups before the other group returns.” The boys stretched and went through a couple light routines, stopping instantly when they saw the door open.
“Hi, we’re- oh it’s just you guys,” Donghan said boredly once he noticed your crew enter the room. The rest of the boys sent him a reprimanding look before greeting you guys warmly.
“How’s your practice going?” Taehyun asked as your two groups sat on the floor.
“Oh, just the usual,” you said vaguely before launching off into the more pertinent information, “We practice Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. We occupy this studio usually from 6-9 unless it’s Saturdays; those hours are 3-7. Don’t be here during our practice. Remember that you are only guests and will be asked to leave if you break any of these rules.” You glanced at your phone, “Right now it’s 8, so you should leave now.” The boys of JBJ exchanged glances, but deciding not to escalate the situation, stood up to grab their bags.
“That’s utter bullshit, and you know it, Y/N,” Donghan snapped, still sitting on the floor. He stood up, walking towards you until he easily loomed over you, “We paid for this practice room, so we’re going to use it as we please,” he watched your stony expression closely before a knowing smirk crossed across his features, “Or are you so afraid of losing to us in terms of talent, you reverted to playing dirty tricks to win?”
You huffed at his arrogance, “Listen here, Donghan, no matter how much you practice, your skills will never even amount to the skills I have in my left toe, so don’t flatter yourself by thinking I’d stoop down to your level.” Tension clung onto the air like a blanket.
Yongguk cleared his throat, “Maybe we should just go…”
The boys stood up to grab their things, but Donghan could only scoff. “Are you guys serious right? We need to practice too,” he said, sending you a glare.
“Wow, Donghan wanting to practice. Maybe you will catch up to me one day,” you said in mock awe.
“Bite me, princess,” he replied, two steps away from lunging at you before his teammates stepped in and dragged him out the door.
“Again!” you barked. Your team quickly obliged, following along with your movements. “Pinky, extend your arm more!” She groaned but did as you said anyways. After the music stopped, they went to their bags to grab their water bottles.
“Y/N sure is fired up,” Momo said after guzzling half of her water.
“It’s because she interacted with Kim Donghan in the past 24 hours,” Lisa panted, “She’s gonna be running us like this until JBJ’s studio finishes its renovations.” You were running through the choreo again, making small adjustments to your movement as you played the music in your head.
“Hey, Y/N,” YooA called from the wall, you turned around to address her, “let’s just run through the Bacon choreo for fun. All of us are dying from practice, and something to loosen us up with wouldn’t hurt.” You only grunted in agreement, caving into your friend’s request.
“Why the hell are you here?” you asked, venom dripping from your tongue.
“We invited them, Y/N,” YooA said from besides you, ignoring your glare, “They need to practice as much as we do, and they did pay for half the studio time. That means we’ll be sharing our time with them.” You gaped at her, turning red under Donghan’s smug watch.
“What if they steal our choreo?” you asked.
Donghan rolled his eyes, “You know well enough our styles are different enough for us to not be able to use any of your choreo.” Your crew could only nod in agreement.
You ran your hands through your hair in frustration. “Fine, whatever, let’s just run through the Bacon choreo to loosen up, and then we’ll start on the comp piece.”
The air of the studio quickly filled with the scent of sweat and the sound of pants and shoes squeaking as the two groups went through their steps side by side. You would find your eyes moving towards their side of the studio every now and then, noting the changes in their choreo. When you huddled with the girls during a break you brought it up. “Hey, didn’t you notice their footwork was different today?” you asked.
Lisa, who was idly scrolling through her phone, replied, “Well, duh. Their choreo is different every competition. Plus they might be using a different style of music this time around.”
You rolled your eyes at her thoughtless comment, “No, you idiot, JBJ uses a set formula when coming up with their dance, no matter what type of music it is. They’ve obviously deviated a lot from that formula with this choreo.”
Momo pressed her finger against her chin, eyebrows screwing together in contemplation, “I guess you’re right, Y/N. No one lifted their shirt up this time.”
The rest of the girls sighed in disappointment as you groaned, “I can’t believe that’s still all you guys can think about.” They could only shrug.
“I’m going to stay behind for a bit to practice,” you told your crew as they headed out the door, “See you guys tomorrow.” JBJ soon bid you goodnight as they headed out too. However, one person stayed behind with you. “Why the fuck are you still here?” you asked, scowling at Donghan.
“I figured I should practice more, considering my skills will never amount to the skills you have in your left toe,” he shot you a smile, “Plus, who else should I annoy on a Friday night?” You refused to acknowledge him at this point, plugging your phone into the speaker.
“Body Party” by Ciara starts playing as you went to go stand in front of the mirror. Taking one breath in, your surroundings began to fade away as you immersed yourself into the music. Muscle memory takes over as you went along with the choreo; however, the music abruptly stops, causing you to break out of your daze. “Turn my music back on, Donghan, or I swear to god, I’ll kill you,” you threatened. He didn’t oblige, still standing by the speaker staring at you blankly. You stormed up to him, ready to wrap your hands around his neck, until he stepped forward, grasping your face in his hands and slamming his lips down to yours in a kiss. Your eyes widened in shock, and you pushed him off of you. “What the fuck, Donghan?” you snapped, “What the fuck was that for?” The two of you stood there, a tense atmosphere bubbling between you two. However, before your brain could say no, you placed your hands on his shoulders and jumped up, wrapping your legs around his waist, and crashing your mouth onto his. He stumbled back slightly in shock before his hands placed themselves on your thighs, holding you in place. He slammed your back against the mirror, and in protest, you bit harshly at his bottom lip. He retaliated, pulling his head back to suck bruises into your neck, smirking when you let out a low groan.
“Nothing to say, princess?” he asked against the skin of your neck.
“Bite me, Kim Donghan,” you snarled, pulling him by his hair away from your neck.
His eyes trailed from yours down to the blossoming bruises marring your neck. A lazy smile crept upon his face, “It looks like I already did.” You glared at him before pulling him back down for a kiss filled with nothing but teeth and tongue, nothing but the strong sense of hatred that bubbled in the pit of your stomach for Kim Donghan.
“What happened to your neck?” was the first thing every single one of the girls asked when they arrived at the studio Saturday afternoon.
“Uh, burnt myself with my straightener,” you said, avoiding eye contact. Soon after, JBJ entered; Donghan sporting the same purple marks on his neck as you. A quick dawn of realization settled over the girls.
“Wait, did you and Donghan?” Lisa took one glance at your reddening cheeks, “Oh my god, you hooked up with Donghan.” You shushed her, slightly motioning to her that he was in the room.
You pulled the girls closer to you and said, “Listen, you are to never mention this to anyone, okay? If you do, I’ll kill you. I’ll actually murder all of you.” They all grumbled, but eventually agreed to keep quiet.
“Woah, Y/N, what happened to your neck?” Hyunbin asked, oblivious to the knowing looks the rest of JBJ sent your way.
“A hair straightener happened,” you sent a sharp look towards Donghan’s direction, “A very annoying straightener.”
“So I’m a hair straightener now? Is that what you’re calling me?” Donghan asked under his breath as he stood behind you.
You rolled your eyes, plugging your phone into the speaker. “You’re supposed to be out for a break with the rest of your crew. What are you still doing here?” you replied, scrolling through your phone to look for something to idly dance to.
“I could say the same for you, princess,” he drawled, taking your phone from your hands.
“I don’t have times for breaks, Donghan, practice makes perfect,” you snapped, trying to grab your phone from his hands.
“C’mon, what’s with the attitude?” he asked, still scrolling through your phone.
“Well, some asshat covered me in hickies, and now he won’t give me-” you fruitlessly tried to pry your phone from his grasp, “Give me my phone back!”
He ignored you, “Ah, knew you’d have this song in your phone.” Before you could say anything, he motioned for you to sit down against the mirror.
“What’s this for, Donghan?” you asked, sending him a questioning look.
“Payback, Y/N, pure payback,” he said, a merciless smile gracing his lips. Soon the chorus of “Company” by Tinashe came over the speakers. You quirked an eyebrow at Donghan, crossing your arms over your chest. He sent you a wink before moving along to the music. You found yourself entranced by him, by the way he fluidly moved his body along to the beat of the song. The music ended, and Donghan looked at you, a smirk already on his face. “Enjoy the show, princess?” he asked, already moving towards you.
“N-not at all,” you said, cursing yourself for stuttering lightly. You resorted to looking at your fumbling fingers.
He kneeled down in front of you, placing his hand under your chin, forcing you to look up at him. “Did I make you flustered?” he asked; his voice tinted with arrogance.
You turned your head away, avoiding his gaze, “I d-don’t know what you’re talking about.”
He forced your head back to facing him, staring into your eyes, “Now you know how I felt, princess. Payback’s a bitch isn’t it?” He let go of your chin and got up from his position, walking out of the studio.
“Move your feet closer together, Momo,” you said, eying each of your girls carefully. “Back straighter, Lisa. And YooA, your arms can’t be bent,” you drilled. The boys of JBJ had long gone home at this point, leaving your crew the entire studio for yourselves. “Again, from the top,” you demanded, and they quickly went back to the starting formation. Over and over the song played until the mirror began to fog up. Pinky and Lisa were collapsed on the floor at this point, unable to bear another round of your watchful eye.
“Y/N, it’s way past 7,” YooA said from behind you, “I think we should call it a day.” You begrudgedly agreed, dismissing them from the studio. After they had left, you found yourself lying on the floor staring at the ceiling. Your chest heaved, exhaustion finally creeping into your body. There were too many things to fix, correct, and perfect in the short amount of time left until competition day. You let out a frustrated shout, throwing your arms over your face, muffling your screams.
“Is someone getting murdered in here?” Your arms fell from your face as you looked up to see Donghan peering down at you.
Your eyes hardened. “What do you want?” you asked, agitation already bubbling at the back of your throat.
He smiled cheekily at you. “Seems like you’re frustrated,” he said, even offering you a hand to pull you up. Before your mouth could decline, you accepted his outstretched hand. He pulled you up to your feet and tugged at your arm until you slammed into him.
“What was that for?” you asked, looking up at him.
“Well, princess,” Donghan started, “you’re frustrated right now right?” He dipped his head down to your neck; his lips lightly trailing your exposed skin. A chill ran through your body.
“And what do you think you’re doing?” you asked, trying to keep your composure.
“Well,” he murmured against your skin, “don’t you remember what happened yesterday?” You tensed the moment his hands trailed up your arms, shivering slightly at the light touch.
Keeping up your facade, you scoffed back, “Unfortunately, I do.” He nipped slightly at your neck, and you let out a small whimper.
“Unfortunately? Don’t you remember how you felt after it?” he pulled away from your neck to send you a lazy smile, “Hm? Don’t you remember how good you felt?” You glared at him at this point, trying to ignore the lazy circles he was drawing into your hip with his thumb.
“Good? It was anything but good,” you said with an upturn of your nose. His hand slipped under the hem of your shirt; his palm making contact with your heated skin. “
With the sounds coming out of your mouth yesterday, I’d disagree with that statement,” he said, a smirk slowly gracing his features. You tried hard to ignore the effect his touch had on you and kept your eyes steely as they maintained contact with his eyes. Unfortunately, he applied just a little bit more pressure in his hand’s ministrations, causing you to let out a gasp. You unconsciously found yourself grasping the material of his shirt with your hands. Looking up, you could see he still had that smug expression on his face. Your mouth twisted into a scowl until a brilliant plan formulated itself in your mind.
Your hand trailed up his chest, and your eyes drooped down into, what you hoped was, a sultry gaze. Tiptoeing slightly, you pressed open mouthed kisses up Donghan’s neck, noting his sudden tenseness. You pulled back, gauging his shocked expression. You wrapped your arms around his neck and pulled him down for a kiss. Except this time, it was different. Instead of the aggressive clashing of teeth and tongue, you found yourself taking it slowly, molding your lips against his. His hands came up to cup your face, deepening the kiss. When his tongue darted out to run across your bottom lip, you gasped slightly, granting him access. It was as if time stood still around the two of you, watching, observing the unusual sight. When the two of you broke apart, there was something there in the air between you and him, something new, something frightening, and you found yourself bolting out of the studio.
What had happened that night was never repeated again, never mentioned. You went through the rest of the week numbly going through life. Practice day after practice day, you only focused on your side of the studio, scrutinizing every single one of your crew’s mistakes. Then one day, something strange came upon the studio.
“Hey, Y/N, the dance competition sent us our information and stuff,” Pinky said, tossing you a stack of papers. You thanked her before skimming through the stack, noting the schedule and instructions for when you get to the venue.
“Wait, what’s this?” you asked to yourself as you read over the sheet listing what you were signed up for, “I think the organizers messed up somehow.”
YooA peered over your shoulder to look at the list, “No, that’s right.” You ran your finger under the submission you knew you didn’t consent to.
“Duet performance by Y/N of Beatrix and Donghan of JBJ? I didn’t sign up for this.”
Lisa took the paper from your hand. “Oh, yeah, we signed you up for it,” she said nonchalantly, handing it back to you.
“What do you mean you signed me up for it?” you asked, fingers tightening around the bundle of papers.
“Well, we, and the guys from JBJ, thought that since you and Donghan weren’t fighting like usual,” Lisa exchanged looks with the rest of the girls, “something must’ve went wrong. So when a spot opened up in the duet division, we signed you two up.”
You blankly stared at her, “So you’re telling me,” you paused, taking in a deep breath to control your anger, “that I have one week to choreograph and perfect a dance routine for me and Donghan to perform?” They tersely nodded, backing away slowly from you.
“Well, on the bright side, we’re pretty much perfect on our set and so is JBJ, so you and Donghan can use the studio to your full advantage all this week,” YooA said.
You grumbled under your breath, stomping towards the exit before being stopped by someone’s chest. You looked up to see Donghan staring straight ahead.
“Can you move out of the way?” he asked passively, not even bothering to look down at you. You averted your eyes to the floor, sidestepping to let him and the rest of JBJ through.
Taehyun sensed the tenseness in the room. “So, Y/N, you ready to choreograph a duet?” he asked.
“I’m not doing it,” Donghan said.
Kenta shot him a confused look, “You have to? It’s too late to drop out.”
Donghan just shrugged before beginning his stretches. “Not my problem,” he said, lowering himself to the floor now to stretch his legs. You noted how Taehyun and YooA exchanged looks.
“Well, if you don’t do it, you’re suspended from our crew,” Taehyun said.
Donghan instantly shot up, “You can’t do that!” The rest of JBJ shuffled awkwardly, avoiding meeting Donghan’s gaze.
“If you drop out it’s a bad reflection on the crew,” Taehyun said, “so I recommend you start practicing with Y/N now.”
Donghan shot you a glare, “Fine, I’ll do it.”
“So what do you think about this song?” you asked. Donghan didn’t reply from his position on the floor. “Well, what about this song?” you asked again, piling on the politeness. He still didn’t reply. Your patience was growing thin. “If you don’t have any songs to recommend at least reply-”
You stopped your sentence when Donghan finally turned to face you. “Company by Justin Bieber, I’ll teach you what I have so far.” He got up off of the floor and plucked your phone from your hands before plugging it into the speaker. When the music started, he began moving along. “At this part we’ll be dancing the same thing,” he said, showing you the moves he had in mind. You nodded along, moving to stand next to him, improvising moves as the song went on. He caught on quickly to what you were doing and adapted to your steps and gestures. “Let’s just mess around for a bit and see what we like before doing anything,” he said after the song ended.
“Yeah, I’m fine with that,” you said, running your fingers through your hair.
Donghan turned away from you, rubbing at the back of his neck, “U-uh, okay, let’s start from the top.”
The following day you and Donghan showed the rest of your crews the rough choreo that the two of you slaved over yesterday. “So what’d you think?” you asked after the song ended. Your crewmates exchanged looks.
“It’s good, but,” Pinky started.
“There’s not enough interactions between the two of you,” Yongguk deadpanned.
“Where’s the fanservice? The skinship?” Lisa whined. You and Donghan both glared at her.
“I don’t remember interactions being one of the criteria for a duet dance,” Donghan replied, his tone icy.
“Correction, couple dance, and interactions help build chemistry,” Sanggyun shot back.
“Well, we don’t have any chemistry, so let’s stick with the bare minimum,” you said. Donghan agreed with you.
“If you stick to the bare minimum it’s a bad reflection on our two crews,” Taehyun said, “As the leader of Beatrix, I expected you to know that.” You grumbled a bit at his direct attack.
“Well I-” you started but was cut off by Donghan stepping in front of you.
“Fine, we’ll add more to the choreo, but there’s no need to attack Y/N like that,” he defended.
Taehyun raised his eyebrow at Donghan, “And why is that?” You sent Donghan a questioning look too.
His ears reddened under everyone’s scrutiny. “B-because I was the one who made the choreo,” he stuttered out, “wasn’t her fault,” he murmured at the end.
“But still, she should’ve said something,” Taehyun prodded.
“No!” Donghan shot back before realizing his sudden shift in volume. “W-well, I was the one adamant on not touching h-her,” he said, flushing even a brighter red when he noticed everyone’s knowing expression. “Just get out, so we can work!” he shouted, shooing everyone outside the door. You cowered under his stare as he stalked towards you. “Chemistry? Skinship? I’ll show them,” he grumbled.
“Uh, your hand’s on my thigh,” you said, cheeks tinted pink with exertion and something more.
Donghan looked up at you, “I can see that, Y/N, does it make you uncomfortable?” he asked.
You averted your eyes, “N-not really, just give me a heads up next time.” Something flashed across his eyes, but he quickly reverted back to his stoic expression. The two of you went through the rest of the choreo, adding little touches and grazes here and there.
“Hey, put your back to me,” Donghan said, “and then put your arm around my neck.” You obliged, cheeks flushing at the sudden contact. “Okay, I’m going to try something,” he said, placing his hands on your waist.
“W-wait!” you yelped; his hands instantly fell away.
“Sorry,” he mumbled.
“No, no, it’s fine, just kinda shocked me that’s all,” you replied. He placed his hands on your waist again and moved your hips against his.
“So you’ll do that while I move my arm out like this,” you followed his directions as he moved his arm, “And then, I’ll spin you around, and you’ll drop down like this,” he guided you through the motions. You noted the constant contact he had with you. “You okay with that?” he asked.
“I’m perfect, Donghan, just perfect,” you said breathlessly.
The two of you were splayed out on the floor, panting heavily after going through the choreo countless of times. “You know something I just realized, Donghan?” you said before your mind could stop you. He hummed in reply, slightly shocked at your sudden question. “You don’t call me princess anymore.”
He turned to send you a questioning look, “I figured you’d want me to stop calling you that after you bolted out of the studio that night.” Your face flushed at the reminder of what had conspired between you two that night.
“I’m sorry about that, by the way. I don’t know what came over me then when I kissed you,” you replied, suddenly becoming shy.
“I don’t know why you’re apologizing. I think you should be more sorry about the running away part,” he snarked.
You sat up from the floor and crossed your arms, “And why is that?”
He sat up too. “Well, princess, you left me out to dry after that kiss. Expect me to be fine after something like that?” he asked.
You turned your back towards him and grumbled, “It was just a kiss…”
Donghan scooted closer to you and turned you back around. Leaning his head in closer to you, he then said, “It wasn’t just a kiss. If it was just a kiss, I wouldn’t be this frustrated with you right now.”
You furrowed your eyebrows, now getting irritated with him, “Well, you shouldn’t be mad at me for it! It’s not like I’m the one who started all this. If only you didn’t kiss me first…”
He leaned his head even closer; his nose slightly brushing against yours, “Listen here, princess, when I kissed you I didn’t expect you to pull whatever shit you pulled the day after. And now you have to explain yourself.”
Your gaze hardened, “And what should I explain? I only kissed you because I wanted to.”
He scoffed, “Don’t tell me you didn’t feel it too, Y/N. Why else would you be avoiding me?”
You scoffed back, “Maybe I was done dealing with you, Donghan. Did the thought ever cross your mind, maybe not everyone likes you?” His gaze hardened at your reply.
“So if I kissed you now, you’d push me off right? Considering you hate me so much?” he asked.
Your eyes dropped to his lips. “Y-yeah, I’d push you off right away,” you said, looking back up at his eyes.
“Want to test that theory, princess?” he challenged.
You turned your attention back to his lips. “Y-yeah,” you let out in a small voice, and then his lips were on yours.
Yet, this time, it was different than the other two. There was no anger, no frustration, not even underlying hints of lust. There was a feeling that fluttered itself deep inside your stomach. Donghan’s hand laid on your thigh, bracing himself slightly as the other hand cupped your cheek. Your hands found themselves moving to grip at the front of his shirt. Your head became light, and you found yourself pushing him away. “What was that?” you asked, your voice tinged with apprehension, fearing his answer.
“I think I like you, Y/N,” he replied, looking at you dead in the eye. He was serious; you knew that the moment he said your name instead of “princess.” Kim Donghan, your enemy since the beginning of time, liked you. “Are you gonna say anything, Y/N?” Donghan asked, gnawing at his bottom lip. For the second time, you bolted out of the studio.
The rest of the week was tense. You and Donghan continued to practice the dance; however, the sense of contentment between you two was gone. No more cordial small talk, just steadfast focus on practicing your choreo and leaving. Breaks were filled with awkward silence as the two of you sat on opposite sides of the studio. Even your two crews began to notice.
“What’s up with you and Donghan?” Momo asked one night as your group ran through your set one more time.
Lisa joined in on the conversation, “Yeah, why is it so awkward between you two now?”
You tried to focus on your reflection, making sure your movements came out the way you wanted them to. “What do you mean? Donghan and I have always been like this. We aren’t really that fond of each other, remember?” you said, trying hard to get your footwork precise. You could practically see Pinky’s eye roll in the mirror.
“Please, Y/N,” she started, “First you two were at each other's throats, then somewhat cordial, and now you two can’t even look at each other.” YooA agreed from her spot on the floor.
“Can you guys just drop it?” you asked, sending them a glare from the mirror.
“No we can’t drop it, Y/N,” YooA said calmly, “It’s going to affect your performance at the competition.”
You spun around to face her, “No it’s not!”
She stood up and walked up to you slowly, placing her hands on your shoulders, “Listen, Y/N, you’ve been messing up our choreo since whatever happened between you and Donghan that night. So I’m asking you again, what happened?”
You faced the floor, ashamed that you let something so minor affect your performance. “Donghan told me he liked me,” you said in a small voice. YooA’s expression did not falter, not even when the others silently cheered on the side.
“And why is that affecting you? If you hate him so much, why is it affecting you?” she prodded.
“I-I don’t know, okay? I don’t know why it’s affecting me so much!” you cried, shoving her hands off of you as you walked backwards until your back hit the mirror. “I feel like I’m supposed to hate him, but I can’t! Because every time I think of him, I don’t imagine the asshat that’s always criticizing me; I imagine the guy who kissed me in the studio, the guy who’s hands always found their way onto my waist when we danced. I don’t imagine Kim Donghan!” You slid down onto the floor; your hands running through your hair in frustration.
“It’s fine to like him, Y/N,” Lisa said, sitting down next to you, placing a hand on your shoulder.
“I can’t like someone like him, Lisa. A kiss doesn’t excuse the way he’s treated me,” you mumbled.
“Maybe he was rude for a reason?” Momo offered, now sitting on the other side of you.
You let out a humorless laugh, “Yes, because we should definitely believe when boys are mean to us they like us.”
Pinky went to sit in front of you, “I don’t know, Y/N, maybe he didn’t know either?” You looked up at her. Pinky continued, “Maybe after the first time you guys hooked up he realized he liked you? And now he’s confessed and realized you rejected him, it’s all awkward now?”
You hugged your knees to your chest, “So you’re trying to tell me, I shouldn’t be upset with him because he didn’t know after being an asshole he’d end up liking me? Also, he shouldn’t get all upset with me for rejecting him! He’s been a jackass since forever. What makes him think I’d like him back?”
YooA looked at you warily, “But you do like him back.”
You scowled, “Maybe my brain’s just confused. It’ll all clear up before the competition. I promise.”
You paced backstage, already changed into your outfit for the duet dance. However, Donghan was nowhere to be seen. You noticed Taehyun walking by, so you ran up to him. “Where’s Donghan?” you asked.
Taehyun just shrugged. “He might still be changing; we did just finish our group set,” he replied after thinking for a second.
“Thanks!” you said, running towards the makeshift changing area. “Donghan!” you said as you pulled aside the curtain before swiftly closing it after seeing him shirtless. “Sorry,” you said once the curtain concealed him from your view. He only grunted in reply. You tapped your feet as you waited for him to finish changing. “Nervous?” you asked, trying the lessen the awkwardness floating in the air.
Suddenly the curtain opened. Donghan narrowed his eyes at you, “Why are you trying to make small talk?” You shifted awkwardly under his gaze. Before you could rationalize what you were doing, you shoved him back into the changing area, stepping in after him, and closing the curtains behind you.
“What the hell, Y/N?” he said, “We go on in like, 15 minutes.”
You grumbled to yourself, running your fingers through your hair. “Look,” you started, “I know things are awkward now, but we seriously need to put that behind on the stage, okay? The reputations of our teams depend on it.”
He rolled his eyes, “I know that much, princess.” His eyes widened at his slip-up. “I meant, Y/N, don’t get any ideas.”
It was your turn to roll your eyes. “Ideas? If I remember correctly, you’re the one who likes me, so don’t worry about me getting excited about you calling me princess.”
He grabbed your arm before you could leave, “Are we forgetting who got upset when I stopped calling her that?”
You shook off his hand and huffed in annoyance, “And let’s not forget who got pissy when they got rejected.”
His eyes darkened, “Don’t play that card with me, princess. You know exactly why I got upset.”
You scoffed in reply, “You can’t just get upset with me when I reject you, knowing exactly how bad you’ve treated me in the past.”
He scoffed back at you, “Don’t play the victim with me, princess. You’re the one who messed with my feelings.”
You shoved him up against the wall, “So what? You’ve been nothing but unpleasant to me since I’ve met you. You can’t expect me to like you.”
He pushed you off of him, “And I didn’t expect you too! I thought I knew that until you came to me first, kissed me first, and I realized that maybe you liked me too. I realized that I liked you a lot, and I was so ready to apologize and talk it out and just confess to you, but no. You ignored me, so I ignored you too. And then the duet came up, and I found myself falling again. And I knew for sure you felt something back; I knew it the moment I kissed you, but you fled again.”
You crossed your arms over your chest, “Maybe I fled because I was scared! Scared to even play with the idea of liking someone like you!”
He stepped forward one step, his eyes steely. “Someone like me? Let me guess, an asshole? A jerk? A son of a bitch? What does that say about you, hm? You’re just as bad as me.” Your expression faltered. He took another step forward, “I was actually ready to apologize, ready to lay it all out knowing there was a chance you’d kick it to the dirt. But you? You’re too prideful, too busy playing the victim to care.” His gaze softened, and he brushed past you, “Doesn’t matter now, I’ll say it as it is. I’m sorry, but it probably doesn’t matter to you.”
You grasped onto the end of his shirt. “Let go,” Donghan clipped.
“You mean it? The apology?” you asked in a small voice. He turned his head around, sending you a suspicious look. He nodded. “I’m sorry too,” you said. Both of your apologies short, simple, nothing specific to what the other was apologizing for, but for you two, that was enough.
“Wait so does that mean-”
You cut him off by pressing your finger to his lips. “No, not necessarily. Let’s figure this out one step at a time before jumping into anything,” you said.
He begrudgedly agreed. “Then what’s the first step, princess?” he asked.
You smirked up at him, “Well, we can maybe make out for the next,” you looked down at your phone, “8 minutes before someone comes looking for us.”
He mirrored your smirk, “Already one step ahead of you, princess.”
Also, here are some choreos that I imagined the groups doing
