#this is how the wind shifts: like a human - heavy and heavy - who does not care#turned in my poetry packet on wednesday but i really liked this one#i no longer have access to my analysis but it was about tone so not that interesting anyway#anyway i really like this poem and it reminds me of old turtle or something else timeless like that#i described the tone as ambivalent for my paragraph. because so many of the words are very high energy scary bad but it’s also very detached#and kind of pulls away by the end and collapses a little bit#anyway i really like the way it talks about humans. and i think it’s a really good poem#me. my post. mine.#wallace stevens#the wind shifts
