tonight i’m choosing to be mad about the mistranslation in ep2.
during felice and madison’s conversation while they’re waxing felice’s legs the english cc captions are as follows:
maddie: is it too hot?
felice: no, it’s not too hot. it’s okay. it just feels warm
maddie: i know but i don’t like to sound like an idiot
which makes literally no sense and always left me confused however the swedish cc (as well as the regular english subtitles) has felice say:
“nej det är lugnt. du kan prata svenska med mig, maddie” which means “no it’s okay. you can speak swedish around me, maddie” which makes maddie’s response actually make sense.
it also answers the question of why maddie never speaks swedish in the show. it’s not that she can’t it’s because she’s worried she’ll make a mistake and be judged by her peers. which is a valid concern when speaking a second language around native speakers and especially in this population where we see how they treat people who are different than them.
we really don’t know much about maddie so i’m annoyed this little bit of information about her got lost in translation. that being said i hope we see maddie being comfortable enough around felice to try speaking swedish

yandere!ateez as fanboys
Hongjoong:
Tumblr media
The moment he hears one song from your latest album, it immediately swept him off his feet from the ground and made the decision to stan you. You are his favorite soloist. The moment he hears your latest comeback album, he immediately listened to all your other songs and made his research about you that night. Of course, the caffeine boosting him.
He made a lot of social media accounts just to follow you. Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, you name it. He would follow your every move and post. But is still didn’t feel the same. To Hongjoong, he felt like he was still missing a large chunk of your life and he didn’t want that. The next night, he pulled a couple of strings and ta dah! had access to your very personal information. And he felt so complete afterwards.
To you, Hongjoong was just one of your few male fans that you adore. I mean, the guy makes covers of your songs. And part of you agreed that when he made his own remix of your songs, it would sound 10000% better than the original. However, you just didn’t noticed the subliminal messages and tones he inserted in his remixes.
Seonghwa:
Tumblr media
Seonghwa was one of those rare male fansites you have. Being in a 7 member girl group called Starlight, you are the group’s visual, main dancer, lead vocalist, center and face of the group. Once your group made its debut, fame automatically found you.
Endorsements here and there, landing yourself in various commercial films and even coming to be a guest of variety shows. Your popularity instantly swept off and in a blink of an eye, the whole of South Korea knew your name. And your name tasted delicious in HwaLight_Y/N. Seonghwa’s fansite name dedicated to you. He thought of a name that would connect him to you. Hwa meaning star, replacing the english word and thus the birth of the fansite name.
With his good looks, he too became known amongst the fans. He was known as your handsome fansite master. And since he was one of the rare male fansites you have, you would immediately recognize him from afar. Smiling at his camera and waving at him. Much to Seonghwa’s delight, he felt like there was already a deep connection between you two. And he wanted more of that.
He started coming to your unofficial group activities. Slippiing his way inside the venue just to be able to feel your presence a few feet from him. He started purchasing flight and hotel information from other “fans” and would purchase the seat closest to you or the room nearest yours.
Didn’t noticed those red beaming lights hidden inside your hotel room when you’re changing clothes or taking a shower? Click click! Or you were dead asleep tired from rehearsals when someone barged into your room? Click click! Ever noticed how your favorite red lace underwear went missing only to come back with a stain? Click click!
Yunho:
Tumblr media
At first, he wasn’t entirely dazzled by you. Yunho was just a regular idol manager who would follow you into your every activities and schedules. He needed the money, plus, companies like him for his tall and muscular physique. The kind of person that can ward off creepy or scary fans that tried to get close to you.
You, on the other hand, is an ex member of your former girl group but found fame as a solo artist. Your debut song swept the charts and immediately won every single music show chart. Topping music chart billboards in every country. Despite all the glitz and glamor that followed you, you felt lonely and desperate for human touch.
It wasn’t supposed to be how Yunho, naked and in between your legs. How such alcohol can make you two do things that violates his contract with you. One night was all it takes for him to see a completely different side of you. And he wanted more of that.
Yunho became more protective towards you. Becoming more aggressive to anyone who dares lay a hand on you. Even going as far as sleeping in one bed with you as he thinks “its completely necessary, who know, someone might be barging into your room in the middle of the night?”  You can never get away from him. Companies like him, remember? With his clean records, your company would do anything to keep him signed with you.
Yeosang:
Tumblr media
Channel YNbyYS is a youtube channel run by Yeosang. It’s the platform wherein he posts his dance covers to your group’s songs. With a bit of his dancing elements and the original choreography of your group, the blend came out much nicer than what everyone expected. His heart leaped more at the idea of you endorsing a chicken brand. From that day forward, he became a regular of the certain chicken brand nearest to him.
Yeosang may seem like a complete innocent and harmless fanboy. But do you ever what he is behind his dance covering youtube channel? Why, he is the second most influential person in your company. The son of your own CEO. He had his very own place within the company. And he uses it to the extent of getting closer to you.
The gifts that came into your company? Those are ALL Yeosang’s gifts for you. From the dresses to the shoes. He shamelessly threw away other gifts’ that were for you because according to him “he is the only relevant and special person that can offer you gifts”. Anything else is directly to the bin.
And you wonder how your “fans” know your taste in fashion.
Mingi:
Tumblr media
Mingi, before being blacklisted by your company, was just a regular fanboy of your group. You were the group’s main rapper and the lyrics to your bars spoke volumes to him. He was just casually listening to your verses and mixtapes until one day, he realized that he wanted to be more than just your fanboy.
It started slowly when he would attend your group’s fansigns and even follow you towards the airport. But the bodyguards prevented him from coming anymore closer to you. And so he did the unthinkable. Knocking down a bodyguard that was shielding you and enveloping you in his arms. His heartbeat raced and he felt a second heartbeat between his pants. With you in his arms, he only realized how petite yet handful you are. Hands running all over your body, burying his nose in your hair inhaling that soft and sweet strawberry shampoo that you use.
Despite being blacklisted, he never cared about going public and meeting you at your group or individual activities. Instead, he resorted to barging into your dorm. Whether you’re home or not.
 San:
Tumblr media
You are your group’s maknae and visual. Dubbed as Korea’s IT Girl, your face can be found anywhere in Seoul. From commercial films to leading Korean dramas, releasing your own solo album and attending fashion weeks, you are always the talk of the town. Whenever your name comes up, its always met with praises. Of course, the people loves you! You are a crowd and fan favorite.
And you had managed to capture the eyes and heart of San. Calling himself as your number 1 fan. He was never absent in any of your activities. Getting front row seats in your concerts, being present at your variety shows and even buying products that you endorse - soju, cosmetics, literally anything.
To your fans, he is the biggest fanboy you ever had. And it was quite entertaining to watch him profess his love to you. You even chuckled a few of his pick up lines that he threw at you during your fansigns. When asked if you had anything memorable that a fan ever did to you, the answer would always be San.
Behind closed doors, San kept a dirty secret. Remember how he always gets front row seats to your concerts? He hid a camera in his clothes to film your upskirt. Beating his meat every night to his own collection of your tight and revealing clothing. Remember how you would endorse anything? He’d buy it and imagine how ripping it off your body feels like. His greatest possession? Your black lingerie. Too bad, you’re never getting it back.
Wooyoung:
Tumblr media
ForYN is a website account run by Wooyoung. He regularly updates his content - from posting your pictures that are uploaded today, to your daily activities, the products you use and a little sub website from his channel wherein he writes poems and graphical fanfiction of himself with you. But of course no one would ever read between the lines. The way how Wooyoung would write would be so poetical and endearing that it? doesn’t? have? any? hidden? meaning?
He only came once to your fansign and gave you a pink teddybear. It wasn’t the best gift you owned but you liked it somehow. There was something about the teddybear that you didn’t know why you’re into it. Its just a plain gift but everytime you look at it, its as if you’re drawn to it.
Maybe becuase you didn’t noticed how it has camera eyes?
Wooyoung’s love for you deepened when he caught you humping on the pink teddybear. Cum splattering all over its face. It was just one gift, but it was everything to you.
And Wooyoung’s working on the next entry for his fanfiction.
Jongho:
Tumblr media
For today, you were having your own vlive. Doing what you called a YN mukbang. As the convenient food store you bought was placed on the table, you began to greet yours fans, asking them how they are feeling before digging in your food. Among the hundreds and thousands of viewers, Jongho was one of them.
He was engrossed in two things: one, how adorable and beautiful you look despite just eating. Second, the rude comments that were popping up in your live video. Rude remarks of body shaming were what caught his attention. He took his time digging deeper into someone else’s username and IP address. Once he got a hold of their information, he would report those comments and head out. In his disguise while hunting the people who made disguisting remarks at you. No one should ever make such remarks to a goddess.

Tumblr media
“Make the Soldat happy. He is my mission.”
When she was first taken, of course she was scared. She didn’t know why, where she was going, if she’d be rescued. It was a painful adjustment, and some days it was as if the tears would never stop. It’s not like she was worth anything to anyone who mattered, her family wasn’t rich. Just her mom and brother. They lived a happy and normal life.
She’d guess it didn’t really matter. At the age of 10, y/n was old enough to understand basic concepts, carry a conversation with adults, and she had strict teachers in school, so she knew how to behave.
What she didn’t know was how to be a wife. Or a ‘life-partner’. None of the Men would ever call her a future ‘wife’. She was training to be a mate. Someone the Soldat could own and connect with so he didn’t fly off the rails if things got out of control. If he got out of their control. Every morning, a watcher would wake her up at 8AM so she could stretch, eat, and meditate. By 10AM, her first trainer of the day would come in and teach her the schooling she was missing. Just basic math and reading, a little German, and a little Russian. Not enough for her to eavesdrop on their plans, but enough to understand her Soldat if he didn’t feel like speaking English.
At 1PM, another trainer would come and bring her to the small kitchenette down the hall. They had no intention of domesticating the ‘couple’, but she was learning to be a woman- of course the Men would have her start in the kitchen. She would learn very simple meals that could feed a fully grown man, and usually had something light for lunch herself. The men brought her the other 2 meals a day. At 3PM she would have lessons on ‘Womanhood’. At least that’s what she called it. A trainer would come in and teach her a never-ending list of rules that she had to follow in order to be a ‘lady’. It reminded her of an old Barbie movie she would watch when she was little. There was a song called ‘To Be a Princess’, where a poor girl learned how to act proper. Once she started seeing herself as that princess, the days got a little easier. Some days, they would go over how to sit and lie down like a lady. Others, they would walk laps around the halls open to her, reviewing how to walk on the balls of her feet. She learned to talk in short sentences with excellent manners, and how to brush her hair, so she could look more presentable for her Soldat.
Over the years of compliance, the trainers softened on her just as the watchers had. Of course, they were still horrible people, but they knew she was a kind girl at heart and wouldn’t cause trouble. Some days, she would be made to sit perfectly still with a stack of books on her head, while her trainer would tell her something silly happening outside the walls of the building that became her home. She learned little bits of information about their lives, music, art. But never anything political or having to do with who the Men even worked for. That was strictly forbidden. They would let her color in her free time. Sometimes a watcher would bring a book from his home for her to read, and when she was old enough, she was given a few colors of yarn and started knitting sweaters and scarves on plastic needles. She didn’t have a clock, but she would learn by the rotating shifts of her watchers what time of day it was.
There were children whose lives sucked more than hers. And for that, she was grateful.
When she got older (let’s say 18), the training started to change. She never knew what day it was, or even what year. She had stopped keeping track so long ago, but the changes were made gradually. She would be made to read books on intimacy, and then watch videos of men brutally ravishing ladies about her size. She had to learn what to do to please her Soldat, without being taught physically. This made her happy. The thought of any of the watchers or trainers doing that to her made her sick. And everyone thought it was in her best interest to be completely innocent to the touch of a man when she has her first encounter with the Soldat.
Which turned out exactly as planned. But on the day Steve and Sam plucked her out of her bedroom, she was not expecting the Soldat to be sitting right in front of her. In all his glory.
The quinjet was eerily silent for all of seven seconds before Clint had the audacity to continue the conversation he started.
“You make the soldier happy?” was the best the shocked man could come up with.
“I haven’t met him yet, but I’m ready. They made me ready for him.” y/n said with bright, hopeful eyes. Her words flowed so easily, they sounded rehearsed.
“Do we tell her?” Tony asked Steve, who was getting greener by the second. He couldn’t believe he just got his best friend back, not two weeks ago, and now he has to worry about a girl who’s obsessed with said best friend.
“I don’t think we really have a choice.” Steve replied, taking a deep breath. The whole quinjet looked like they were holding their breath. y/n still didn’t know the names of the three men on the opposite side of the quinjet. Two of them standing together, pausing their conversation, and the brooding man, who everyone keeps looking at.
“y/n, meet Bucky.” Steve said, pointing at the man across from her. But ‘Bucky’ went completely over her head- the name being unfamiliar to her.
“Hello, sir. Pleased to meet you.” She said, offering a genuine smile, but clearly not picking up what Steve was putting down. Clint chimed in again, wanting to be out of his confused misery.
“Wait a second. Y/n. You mean the soldier, as in the Winter Soldier?” Y/n immediately nodded at hearing that name. She knew her Soldat went by that name. “As in that guy right there?”
Her eyes went wide at the realization. He was sitting right in front of her. Staring at her since the minute she stepped onto the plane. And he was gorgeous. Long hair, thick thighs, piercing blue eyes, and a jaw that could probably cut glass. But he looked upset. Pissed really, and that scared her. She had one job: Make the Soldat happy. And there she was, barely presentable. She hadn’t even addressed him properly, how she was taught. With all the eyes on her, she felt a blush rush through her whole body at the embarrassing thought. But she had to. He wouldn’t like her if she didn’t follow the rules she grew up with.
Y/n daintily stood up and walked until she was right in front of Bucky. He held her eye contact the entire way, still not having said one word during this whole exchange. She gently knelt down until she was on her knees in front of him.
“I hope I can make you happy, my Soldat. I am a gift from the Men who take care of us, and I am entirely yours.” Bucky’s jaw twitched. He hadn’t said anything this whole time, but his mind was moving at lightning speed. He watched this gorgeous, barely dressed girl sit across from him, and was already in awe. But then that girl got on her knees and declared her loyalty to him? In front of everyone he knows? He couldn’t lie to himself, he’d never been more turned on. But everything about this was wrong. She was just a Stockholm Syndrome’d girl who wanted to follow orders. But her orders were to make him happy. He finally broke eye contact with her to see Tony’s shocked face looking over at Bruce and Thor, to make sure he’s not hallucinating this.
“Y/n, you should stand up.” He said to her in a hushed tone. Probably harsher than he meant to. He could see her visibly take a breath at the sound of his voice, his eyes followed the gentle slope of her neck down to her breast. She dreamed for years about what his voice would sound like, and it just rolled over her. But she quickly obeyed and stood in front of his seat. He expected her to say something else, but she was silent then. Her previous outburst was one of the few exceptions to her ‘only talk when spoken to’ rule. “What do you want? Where is your family so we can take you home?” He asked her. She could feel the tears well up in her eyes. He didn’t want her was all she could assume. She was made for him, so why was he turning her away?
“I want to make you happy, sir. It’s all I want. Please let me be good for you. I promise, I’ll be so good for you.” Begging was familiar to her from her studies. She didn’t expect to be begging for her to be able to please him, but she would do whatever it took to get him to keep her.
“No. Y/n. This isn’t right. You were being kept there, whatever Hydra told you to do is over. You’re free now.” The tears flowed freely down her cheeks and it broke his heart. She tried to cover her face with her hands. He didn’t want to see her cry, nor did he want to turn her away, but he also couldn’t just let her be his sex slave. It wasn’t right.
“Please don’t be sad. This is for the best-” He tried to reason with her, but when he took her hand off her face so she would look at him, the contact only made her sob harder. This was all she wanted.
“Buck, I think we should just let her sit for a minute. Can you grab her some water? Tony and I will try to figure out where she was from.” Steve said to Bucky- trying to end this painful and awkward situation. Bucky stood and walked to another area of the quinjet. He was grateful to be able to use this time to think.
“Y/n, we’re gonna need your help to get you home okay. What’s your last name? How old are you?”
“Y/L/N” And then she went quiet. It never occurred to her that she didn’t know how old she was. Of course, she remembered her birthday, but she couldn’t tell the weeks and months apart, so she hadn’t celebrated it since she turned 10 in 2006. “What year is it?”
“When did they take you?” Steve asked gently. Being a man from another time, he could remember well the day he woke up in 2011 when it was supposed to be 1944. He knew how jarring it was to discover all the time that’s been lost, and wanted to spare her that grief.
“2006. I was 10.” She looked at him, and she could tell it’s not just 2008 by the look on his face. She knew her body went through changes over her time with the Men, but between the ‘dietary supplements’ they gave her, and the fact that she wasn’t looking in a mirror- much less shopping for clothes- she didn’t realize she had fully completed puberty.
“Y/n, it’s 2016. You’re 20 now.” And that made the tears come harder. But she wasn’t so upset about the 10 years of her life. She was mad at 20 years of her life wasted. Since Bucky didn’t want her, all of the training was for nothing. She knew living for him made her the definition of a broken person- she wasn’t dumb. The idea of her Soldat was what grounded her all that time. When she was lonely, she’d think about the man the Men always tell her about. They told her how he was their ‘greatest asset’. And she often fantasized about if he would fall in love with her. So by the time she met him, she had already been in love with him for much longer than she’d care to admit- which makes the heartbreak of rejection hurt that much more.
Unfortunately for Bucky, his heart was heavy too. He tucked away into the tiny bed area on the jet after quickly handing Steve the water to give to y/n. It was too much. Being in that room with her, she looked at him like he hung the moon. But he most certainly had not. He was a murderer. Tony’s father was a scientist during the war, and Bucky knew him pretty well through Steve. And he killed him. He had scattered memories of hurting dozens of people, so why would she be so willing to be with someone like him?
Part of him wanted it. After almost a century of not owning anything and not having a choice, he was given the opportunity to have something that belonged only to him. A gift from the men who take care of us. If it wasn’t cruel, he would have laughed in her face. Maybe she was taken care of, but he most certainly wasn’t. She was brought in young enough to still be under the impression that Hydra wasn’t evil, just strict. He imagined for a minute how things could have turned out for the two of them if he hadn’t gotten free. If Hydra really was planning on giving him a gift. He didn’t like the last gift they gave him in the shape of an arm, but y/n was perfect. She was the perfect size for him- although his broad frame could dwarf most women. And her smile pulled at his heart.
He wanted to kiss her the minute he saw her. He knew he wanted to make her his.
And that was bad.
He rubbed his hand over his face and decided to rejoin the group in the middle of their conversation. Thor and Bruce decided to stop being passive members of the conversation and introduced themselves. Y/n was very confused at Thor’s proclamation as ‘God of Thunder’, but with all that was happening, she didn’t feel it was her place to question it.
“- a good thing we have spare rooms at the compound. You can stay as long as you like.” Tony finished speaking to y/n just as Bucky was walking into the room. “We’re gonna have a new house guest MC.” He waggled his eyebrows at the man who caught the back half of that conversation.
Bucky’s jaw dropped. This would only make the situation much harder than it needed to be. He looked to Steve for an explanation. The blond stood up and made his way over to Bucky.
“Look, Hydra scrubbed her records off of every database and-” He took a deep sigh, “Her family is dead, Buck. They probably killed them after they took her.”
Then it was Bucky’s turn to sigh. He knew the right thing to do was to help her, but he also knew how much he wanted to feel her soft skin in his hands. And that made her dangerous to be around.
What nobody knew was why Hydra took the 10 year old from Georgia. In 2006, the Winter Soldier was sent on a mission to kill a scientist that lived there. Of course the poor guy didn’t have a chance when the Soldier was sitting in his house, waiting for him when he got home, but what the Soldier wasn’t expecting was a little girl to be coming inside with him. The scientist looked sleazy and didn’t have any children, so who knows what would have happened to her if the Soldier didn’t get there in time. She screamed and cried. The comm in his ear commanded him to kill the girl for being a witness. But the part of the Soldier that was still Bucky wanted her to be safe. He shushed the little girl and asked her for her address. When she recited it to him, he rubbed her head and told her she was a good girl, before he dug his metal fingers into the child’s pressure points and she fell limp into his arms. y/n woke up in her bed, crying at the bad dream she must have had- her mother not even home yet. That was the first act of defiance Hydra ever experienced from the Winter Soldier. First sign of humanity and compassion. They knew if the mind control was getting weaker, he would be harder to control next time they unfroze him, but his protective nature of the girl would make her an asset to them.
Her capture was arranged before his heart was fully frozen in the chamber. Neither Bucky nor y/n remembered this- Bucky only remembering parts of his time under their control, and y/n never thinking about that bad dream again, but the connection was still there as strong as it was that day 10 years ago.

Switching Places (F, 1.7k) - @ijungkooki - soulmate au where you switch places with your soulmate at random times
Jin:
Scopophilic Affection (M, F, 7.8k) - @bibbykins - Scopophilia is a more dignified way to define voyeurism, something Seokjin had no intention of partaking in until he came across your live stream. Seokjin is a dignified man, but never in his life had he felt so depraved watching you smile and work like it was his profession, unable to reach through the screen and make you his. Unable to tell you how much he loves to watch you because you have no idea you’re live stream even exists. He can’t tell you how hypnotizing you are without the glaring controversy of him watching your hacked-into webcam, both as a human and director in the computer science division of the company he is a board member of. Nevertheless, you were his very guilty utmost pleasure.
Jungkook:
Shadow (2.2k) - @yoonologue - Shadow has been on the run her whole life. Her survival depended on her keeping her mouth shut and staying hidden. My Anime 9/10′s
With probably no spoilers cuz I don’t wanna talk too long about them zzz.
1. Fullmetal Alchemist
Tumblr media
YALL ALREADY KNOW THIS A 9/10. The only real reason this show is not a 10/10 is because it’s just a story that I’d never rewatch. There’s like 70 episodes, which is way too long for my short attention span, especially since I’ve seen it already. But yeah, by all accounts, this story is a masterpiece and is one of the only “shounen” anime’s that I genuinely enjoyed. No random sexualization. No dumb filler. All the characters have an actual purpose and role in the plot and everyone has their own morals and ideals that interact to make the story interesting. I couldn’t bring myself to really hate anyone, even the villains, because everyone was pretty well written. Also super satisfying ending that ties up everything properly without leaving me confused or upset. If you only watch a few anime in your life, Fullmetal Alchemist is pretty much a MUST WATCH to see a beautiful example of a modern classic anime as an artform. Also I should say that I really don’t like Hunter x Hunter (AN EXTREMELY CONTROVERSIAL OPINION BTW) but I love Fullmetal Alchemist so take from that what you will.
2. Parasyte: The Maxim
Tumblr media
Same kinda shit where you already know this a 9/10 for me. It’s just a very satisfying anime that doesn’t have random sexualization or random filler or anything like that. Ending is also very good and ties up the story in a way that doesn’t leave more questions but also allows the characters to have a “life” outside of the scope of the story. I think Parasyte, because of its more horror and psychological-esque vibes, counts as a seinen and not a shounen, so for more mature audiences. I also really liked how the story was successfully adapted to modern times since the manga is from the 80′s. I have actually rewatched this anime, but what stops me from giving it a 10/10 is a few things that I found kinda “stereotypical” that I don’t wanna discuss further too much cuz it’s spoilers. I still obviously really like this anime and highly recommend it.
3. Zankyou no Terror
Tumblr media
TBH, this anime is pretty hard for me to properly describe in a lot of words as to why I like it. The art was really pretty as well as the music, which was just straight up amazing. The cinematography of this anime is excellent as well, and a lot of scenes have that sense of being acted out by real people, as opposed to feeling completely drawn/animated. I was a teenager when this anime came out and I think a lot of the themes presented in the show really related to me. The show does kinda have some leftover questions when it ends that prevents me from rating it a 10/10, but I have such a soft spot for this anime. It’s from the same creator as Samurai Champloo and Cowboy Bebop, and although those two animes are also very good, they did not impact me as much as this anime did. Recommended for people looking for idk something that gives off Inception vibes?? In the sense that it’s much more about its themes and its message more so than the believability of the events that occur.
4. Magic Kaito 1412
Tumblr media
THIS IS JUST A PERSONAL PREFERENCE BTW LOLOL I DON’T KNOW ANYBODY WHO’D PUT THIS AS A 9/10 ANIME. I JUST REALLY LIKED IT OKAY. It’s made by the same person who does Detective Conan but I like this a lot more because it’s a much shorter series and slightly more mature (more for teens than just straight up kids). I really liked the main guy, I think he’s funny and charismatic. He’s a pervert at times but Imma forgive that cuz of the 90′s. Idk it’s just a really fun anime that I don’t have to take seriously and can just watch and enjoy.
5. Mob Psycho 100 (season 1 AND 2)
Tumblr media
Imma put season two as slightly better than season one. So season one would be like a 9 and season two is like a 9.25 for me. Super super funny anime and I like it SO much more than One Punch Man. I liked that there was a good balance of serious moments, but you can definitely still count this anime as a comedy. I’m typically not the type to watch “comedy” but this anime genuinely had me laughing out loud, while also crying and freaking out right alongside the main character. The main guy is super great because he’s just this shy and sweet middle schooler, and it’s really interesting watching him balance trynna have a normal life while also using his powers for good and such. Apparently the anime was decently faithful to the manga and there’s apparently enough material for a third season so I’d be pretty stoked for a season 3, but season 2 ended on a pretty good spot and was satisfying. TBH, if I had the time, I’d probably rewatch both seasons and bump it up to a 10/10.
6. Vinland Saga
Tumblr media
This anime is just the first season of what I hopes to be a whole series that will be stay beautifully and faithfully adapted from the manga. As someone who read very far into the manga (but quit like years ago simply because I hate slow updates lol), I actually didn’t enjoy watching the anime at first. I was impatient and kept waiting for when like the “major” events would happen. So I watched like three episodes and quit. But when I had some free time, I decided to get stuck in and commit to watching the whole series and I was so pleasantly surprised with just how good it was. I was impatient but I needed to realize that there is no “filler” or like “wasted time” in the entire anime. I hadn’t read the manga in years, so so many things were only vaguely familiar but I think this helped me stay surprised and excited throughout the anime. I’m looking forward to the rest of the manga being adapted because it’s just a good Viking saga lolol. Major themes of stuff like growing up, violence vs. peace, what it means to be a good person, etc. Lots of blood and LOTS of violence like a LOT they are VIKINGS CMON but tbh not really any gore which I liked cuz gore makes me ughhhh. A very good watch and only a taste of an excellent story.
7. Demon Slayer
Tumblr media
It’s just Demon Slayer duhhh. Of course this a 9/10 for me. I don’t wanna write much just cuz the show is so popular. Just read a REAL review of this anime somewhere else lmaoooo. Also yes I did watch the movie in theaters and yes I liked it a lot as well mmkay. I’m mad hype for season two. My S/O doesn’t like Demon Slayer as much as me, but also has Hunter x Hunter as their all time favorite anime. Do with that information what you will lolol.
8. Attack on Titan Season 3 Part 2
Tumblr media
Same shit as Demon Slayer. Just go read someone else’s review about why it’s so good lol. Also, unlike Mob Psycho 100, I can’t include all of the seasons in this, because I have very various opinions about how good/bad the other seasons were. But this season 3 part 2, was just plain and simply amazing. While I might not like each season equally, as a whole Attack on Titan is also a modern masterpiece of storytelling. Read the manga if you can.
9. Great Pretender
Tumblr media
I love this anime so much. Such a good and fun wild ride. The whole show is ridiculous but in a fun way. I’m a HUGE fan of heist films, so of course I absolutely enjoyed a heist anime. I’ve watched this show in sub AND dub, due to the fact that everyone is “technically” speaking English the entire time. If you’re a purist, just watch in sub OR dub cuz I did get confused here and there, especially when I would go back to compare language discrepancies.  Because basically I did this super high maintenance thing where I switched back to Japanese whenever the main character had flashbacks, since he’s ya know, Japanese. The dub also has this confusing thing where the first five minutes or so are still in Japanese, but switches to English when a little cue card on the screen goes “For the Viewers sake, everything from now on will be translated to Japanese.” It’s cuz in the sub, the inverse obviously happens where the characters are initially speaking broken English to each other, but for convenience sake, everything from that point on will be in Japanese. It’s confusing at first but I liked it cuz it just proved the whole international vibe of the show. It’s funny either sub or dub when they joke about how bad the main guy speaks English, cuz in the dub he’s speaking perfect English, while the sub has him not speaking English at all. But anyway, great anime that WOULD have gotten a 10/10 if not for the last episode. Like without spoiling ... WTF WAS THAT LMAOOOO. The anime as a whole is super wacky and zany but at least I could try to think it’s real life, but that last episode was just so unbelievable and bizarre and pulled my suspension of disbelief into the STRATOSPHERE that I just had to convince myself that this show takes place in some improbable alternate reality where something like what happened in the last episode is at least 5 percent possible CUZ HOW DID ANY OF THAT WORK LMAOOO??? Once again, great show, one of my absolute favorites, BUT THAT ENDING THOUGH WTF.
10. BNA
Tumblr media
Good super underrated anime that I don’t hear people talk about at all. If Beastars is anime Zootopia, then BNA is Disney Beastars lmaooo does that make sense? It’s a lot more fun and zany than Beastars and I liked it way more. Made by the same people who made Kill la Kill. I really like that more classic, animated “cheap” art style that the anime has, and I also really liked the plot of the story. Not a 10/10 cuz the show does leave a few unanswered questions at the end of it, but this show was such a fun and interesting ride. When I finished the last episode, I was left with a big smile on my face because I just genuinely enjoyed this anime. Recommended if you wanna watch something a little unique and more on the silly and wack side. Talks about some serious stuff, but luckily the show never takes itself TOO seriously, and remains overall lighthearted for a fun action/sci-fi show.

So here's my personal ranking of DMBJ adaptations, thanks @mejomonster for the idea :D
(but psst first if anyone seeing this post haven't seen it already, there's an interest check for a pingxie gift exchange! over here.)
1. Ultimate Note (2020)
So I wrote a long ass post about UN here, where I mainly talk about the Iron Triangle because they're the heart of DMBJ and their relationship is what makes or breaks an adaptation for me, all else equal. But thankfully UN also has good pacing, faithfulness to the original story (and honestly a smoother and less confusing way of portraying it, but thats not saying much), no exceptionally cringy added romance plot lines, female characters treated as well as they can be given they were fridged in the source material, and a cast and crew with a deep appreciation and love for the characters and story, making the most of what they could with a tiny budget and no promotion. (UN is now the most highly-rated DMBJ adaptation on douban!) The main cast is a bit green, no doubt, but the longer it goes on the better they get. (If you scroll through my #translation tag far enough you'll find stuff XYL and ZSX have said about their characters. XYL especially, really understands Zhang Qiling and I will always respect him for that, which is why he's my favorite Xiaoge.) I'm just eternally sad about the ending and that there probably won't be a S2 for the main story finale because NPSS won't sell the rights again.
2. The Lost Tomb 2 (2019)
Before UN came out, this was my favorite Iron Triangle. The Pangzi and Xiaoge friendship was also super cute here! A sorely underrated friendship, for sure. And I absolutely adore TLT2 Xiao Hua. He and UN Xiuxiu would make a great team. The entirety of the first half (undersea tomb) was remarkably true to the source material (despite being unnecessarily draggy at points), and I do like that they made the Bronze Tree arc more of an Iron Triangle thing than a Wu Xie solo mission like in the novel. But uh, the second half of this drama was just...really confusing lol with so many long shots of them trudging through snow endlessly. But it's a cute Pingxie and Iron Triangle. (Saw someone once say TLT2 is the fluffy Pingxie but UN is the angsty Pingxie, which......accurate tbh.) But...man...will TLT2.5 (Heavenly Palace) ever be released from jail ;;;;;; its supposedly already filmed (different cast) but can't air for...legal reasons? idk? ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
3. Time Raiders (2016)
A wacky movie that makes no logical sense whatsoever but God it was such a fun, wild watch lmao. Pingxie were so unnecessarily gay in this, and also TLT2 Pangzi is great as always. I liked A-Ning being a total badass as well. Movie gets a bit sad when you realize there's a deleted scene canonizing the movie as book!Wu Xie's wishful thinking and fanciful story he told because he misses his friends. In reality, Pan Zi and A-Ning are dead, his San-shu is missing, and he doesn't know if he'll see Xiaoge again (which is why TR!WX is always taking photos of him, I'd say).
4. Qinling Sacred Tree Donghua (2021)
So uh this still doesn't have official English subs (you can find it on a streaming site somewhere but I can't vouch for translation quality). But it's a pretty faithful adaptation of the Bronze Tree arc, but with a slight twist to make Xiaoge more relevant. (I'm still squinting at Liang-shiye.) Still largely a Wu Xie and Lao Yang duo mission, though. But the scenery in the donghua is gorgeous and the food looks really good too...and, like, it's a good and solid adaptation. I just wish it had been an Iron Triangle adventure 😅
5. Sha Hai (2018)
Qin Hao is an amazing Sha Hai Wu Xie. I love him, and the fact that ZSX posted a photo with him ;;;;;;;; my favorite Wu Xies ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; (fun fact: to this day, QH's Weibo pfp is of himself as Wu Xie!) But anyway. Yeah I mostly just love Wu Xie here and everything he's gone through and turned himself into now that Xiaoge is gone. There are several UN parallels because they were done by the same company (which is also why a lot of the actors are the same). Unfortunately, the whole plot was....??????? and I wasn't a fan of any of the romances, or any of the side characters in general 😅 Skipped...so much of it lol. Why did they do *gestures vaguely at the entire show* Man at least they had Three Days of Silence. Small mercies.
6. The Lost Tomb 1 (2015)
They did Pangzi so dirty, I'm sorry sweetheart. That aside, the OCs were also a big ?????? and the fact that they had the iconic Iron Triangle hotel fight so early...WITHOUT THE FULL IRON TRIANGLE????????? But TLT1 Pingxie were literally a case of love at first sight soulmates so that was sweet. Also the blood feeding. Nice 👌 This Xiaoge is probably what most of the tomb-robbing world (or very casual dmbj fans ig lmao) see when they think of Zhang Qiling: aloof, mysterious, terrifyingly strong, (and kinda 2000s emo-boy-looking for some reason???)
7. The Lost Tomb Reboot (2020)
Confusingly wild deviations from the original story, really cringy romances + fridged women, and unnecessarily dragged out plot aside, I just wasn't feeling the Iron Triangle in this one 😅 Nor was I a fan of the treatment of Xiaoge. (He was stolen from his mother as a baby and abused by the Zhang family ever since, used as a convenient bloodbag to get around tombs and he didn't even understand he was a human being with a heart who could want things until he met his mother again in Three Days of Silence, where he finally regained the "heart" given to him by his mother that the Zhang family had taken from him...and then the first thing he experienced was the loss of his mother. I think this was the only canonical instance of him crying. After that, he lived a life full of mostly loss and more trauma, being kidnapped, kept naked in a basket, and used as zombie bait when he lost his memories...and knowing all this about his past, Pangzi tells him to use his blood in a tomb, enthusiastically, without hesitation. Like...you don't tell your best friend to cut himself because you think his blood might be useful. Especially not your best friend who you know in his past has been abused just like that since birth by his blood-related "family".) I do, however, think all the actors did amazing jobs with what they were given and are very talented. The effects were also good and the music is fantastic too. I don't think I need to praise Z1L's acting because everyone knows how good he is, and he pulled off that hallucination scene where he saw Xiaoge die for him just beautifully 👌 And Xiaoge smiles! Also very cute.
So yeah that's all the adaptations I've seen! It's past 1:30am so I'm a bit rambly but 🤪🤪🤪

My task for last weekend was spread over three days. Goddess wanted me to put a little video slideshow together covering my training. Around 2-3 minutes long with video clips, pictures etc. This was SO MUCH work, part of it was the editing software kept crashing but I spent some time on Friday and Saturday and most of Sunday to get it done.
I had an idea for the structure that worked really well but at the end I realized I’d missed out a lot of things I’d wanted to include (JAV, Genderella, a lot of trans stars, nuru just off the top of my head) but it was over 3 minutes and adding more would mean I’d need 2 or 3 more days!
Goddess was really pleased with it, I’ll be uploading it somewhere soon (ish) and I’ll post the link here when I do.
On Monday I had a long, personal chat with Goddess and I’m not going to go into details about it here (I just want to record it for posterity so I’ll remember it in future) and my training was watching an ASMR nail video followed by handjobs with nails similar to how mine had been done. This was so hot! Losing myself in the rhythm of the handjob (I was copying it on a dildo) and watching so many beautiful nails.
Tuesday was watching a p*ss model. She has so many videos getting pee’d on, peeing on someone, multiple people, boy, girl etc and I was to be plugged and wearing panties and jeans as I watched. On top of that, before I began I had to wet myself!
I had a few hours before I was going to do it and I had to keep stopping myself from naturally going to the toilet. Then when I was going to do it, I decided sitting in the bath (I had a towel to sit on when I watched the videos so I didn’t get it anywhere else) and it took a few minutes before I could do it in this position 😂. Finally it happened and I started watching and it was 🔥🔥🔥. A lot of them weren’t even dom/sub orientated just the models have a fun time with pee.
There wasn’t much talking (I assume some of them maybe couldn’t speak very good English) but this made it hotter because it was all moans and sighs of pleasure!
Wednesday was my post about a possible new tattoo (go here). I didn’t think you could post pictures in the body of a post between text on Tumblr but Goddess said you could and it turned out I’d been assuming again and it was pretty easy 🙄.
Next was JAV housewifes but I had to stop the video whenever they started getting undressed or doing anything. I clarified it a little before I began, taking off a jacket was fine but if they were down to underwear that was too much. Likewise, making out, light humping etc were ok but no further!
This was fun and still pretty hot. Paying attention to the looks and touches. Being restricted to (at most) some petting made it kind of like watching a romcom. Even though some of them had a much darker vibe stopping it when I had to meant it was limited to how dark it could be (It also made me giggle that I was censoring myself on already censored porn :D ).
Finally Friday was watching vintage amateur TS videos. These were pretty vintage, a lot of them had been uploaded from video cassette and were very low quality (and they really took me back 😄). The style made my drool, heavy makeup, big hair, big earrings and big c*ck.
This hit me in a similar way to my beloved Genderella but not quite as deeply. Genderella was the first one that showed me this isn’t something new, so it’s not a shock anymore but watching amateur vintage videos shows that everyone was doing it, it makes me feel part of something bigger or at least the historical context gives me comfort!

previous chapter // season masterlist // series masterlist
Tumblr media
You, Clarke, and Madi are crouched low along the ridgeline, and you and Clarke each have your rifles propped up on the large rocks in front of you, focused on the man you trapped in the clearing. He’s still crying out in pain, and you can see the blood on his clothes, bright red against his tan jumpsuit. Madi has watched on in silence since you arrived, but she finally breaks now, looking over at you and Clarke, clearly upset. “This isn't right.”
Clarke looks away from her scope to look at Madi, sympathetic. “Madi, I know, but this is our home, your home.”
“And they want to take it from us.”
Clarke nods, “That's right.”
She’s quiet for a second before she asks, “But he doesn't have to suffer. We can kill him now, right?”
Clarke’s expression hardens, her jaw sets, and she turns back to her weapon, peering down at the man again. “Not yet.”
You follow suit, the conversation seemingly over, watching as the man screams out again. Suddenly, there’s movement in the trees around the clearing, and seconds later prisoners start to creep out towards the man, led by the woman you saw earlier. She motions for the group to stop and watch, but a few of the men around her ignore her, walking past her and right into the kill zone you and Clarke established. You whisper, “I’ve got left.”
“I’ve got right.”
You and Clarke each fire off a shot, one immediately after the next, killing the two closest men. Everyone else in the group drops down, looking around for you, and you and Clarke reload before peering through the scope again. Unfortunately, you set your sights on the group just in time to see one of the men stand up, a large weapon in his hand, pointed right at you. You and Clarke see it at the same time, letting out a soft gasp, unable to do anything else before the blast hits the ridgeline in front of you.
The blast knocks all three of you away, and you hear Madi let out a scream before your body lands on the ground with a hard thud. You groan in pain, a high pitched ringing in your ears, and you hear Clarke’s muffled voice calling your name through the haze in your head. You look up, meeting her eyes, and she grabs your hand, pulling you to your feet. “We have to run!”
You nod your head, crouching low and following her and Madi from the ridgeline and into the trees. It takes a few seconds for your senses to return to you and the cotton in your head to clear, but when it finally does, you feel a rush of anxiety, aware of the danger the three of you now face. Your anxiety only grows when you realize Clarke is gasping, quietly fighting back pain. You pull her to a stop, and Madi whispers, “We can make it to the north cave, come on!”
You ignore her and search Clarke over, pulling her hand away from her ribs and staring down at the black blood covering her hand. “You’re hurt.”
A look of fear passes over Clarke’s face and she turns to Madi, “We have to hide you.”
She looks around until she finds a cut out in a tree nearby, and she starts to urge Madi towards it. “You need to get in here.”
“Not without you.”
You glare at Clarke, blood still dripping from beneath her shirt. “Clarke, you can’t go on like this.”
“I have to keep Madi safe!”
You grab her shoulders, forcing her to look at you, “But who will keep you safe?”
You push both of them towards the hole, just large enough to hide Clarke and Madi. “You both need to hide, I’ll lead them away.”
“But-”
“Clarke there’s no time to argue about this! Get in here, stay hidden.” They both climb into the hole, looking up at you in fear, both reluctant to let you go. You smile down at them and Clarke whispers, “I love you.”
“I love you both.” You pass Madi your knife, wrapping her fingers around it. “Stay safe.”
And then you grab trees and branches from nearby, covering them both up, tucking them out of sight. You turn and run off, leading them away from your family, making sure to be loud enough that they follow you instead. You can hear the prisoners in the woods behind you, yelling updates to each other every time they catch a glimpse of you, and it only pushes you faster, trying to put as much distance as you can between you and the prisoners at your back. Unfortunately, you don't expect them to shoot at you, and you hear the sound of gunshot pop through the air seconds before a bullet tears through your left shoulder. You let out a cry of pain, the injury surprising you and knocking you off your feet. You stumble and roll down a small hill, groaning as you reach the bottom.  You hear footsteps approaching from behind you, and you start to jump to your feet when you feel a boot press down into your back, pinning you in place.
You try to fight against them until you feel a hand press into the bullethole, making you scream out in pain, choked and broken. You hear a radio to your left, the voice of a woman coming through. “McCreary, we heard gunfire, report. I said report, McCreary.”
“Relax, Colonel. I told you we'd get her, and we did.” Someone grabs your hair, using it to tug your head up and back, and you sneer at the man who drops onto his knees in front of you. He reaches up to stroke a finger down your face, and you rear back and spit at him, watching the blob land in his beard near his mouth. He smacks you across the face, hard, snapping your head to the side, the movement tugging at your hair, and you bite back your sound of pain, not wanting to give him the satisfaction. He lifts his radio again and adds, “She's a feisty one. Pretty, too.”
“Good work. Bring her to me, we’ve got a lot to talk about.”
You are yanked to your feet by the man, McCreary, and he holds you tight by the shirt around your neck, limiting your movement. He half drags, half pushes you the whole way back to the village, and you try to keep an eye on your surroundings as you move, looking for any sight of Madi or Clarke. You’re relieved when you don’t see them in the village, still out there, still free, but your relief is short lived when you are shoved into the center of the village, surrounded by prisoners on all sides. The woman from before calls out, “Let me see her face.”
Your head is again yanked back by your hair, and you hold back a grunt of pain as your eyes land on the woman in front of you. You're surprised to see that she’s young. Definitely older than you, but also younger than your mother, her face relatively smooth of any lines or signs of aging. Her hair is pulled back into a low ponytail, giving you a small view of the jagged scar that runs across the front of her neck. You shudder at the sight of it, not sure you want to know how she got it and survived, and you move your eyes from her to the man at her side. He’s younger than her, closer in age to you, and he’s handsome. His eyes seem kinder than the others, and he’s dressed differently, his clothes all black instead of tan. He looks at you suspiciously, before his eyes fall on McCreary behind you. “You only caught one?”
“We only saw one.” McCreary lets go of your hair, pushing your head down and into the grass. You pull yourself to your knees and then look up at the people surrounding you, watching as the handsome guy whispers, “I highly doubt she was alone.”
“How many others in the woods?”
You look up at the woman, mind running through what to do, until you remember Lincoln. Silent, steady, warrior with a heart, who didn't say a word the entire time he was in your camp. None of you even knew he spoke English until Octavia told you later. You quietly decide to say nothing, hide your reactions, and you make your face blank and set your jaw as you look up at them, silent. The woman looks at McCreary, who smacks you across the face for a second time, the skin on your right cheek throbbing in pain. He drops down in front of you, and grinds out, “Answer the question.”
You stare up at him, still silent, and he lifts his arm and grabs your head before raising his fist, ready to punch you. You flinch a little, waiting for the blow, but the woman stops him in his tracks. “Not yet. First we pray.”
McCreary pulls you to your feet and drags you to the church, as the woman yells to the other prisoners, “Secure the perimeter. Her people will come for her, be ready!”
You are led straight inside of your home, and your lip curls up in disgust when you see that the prisoners have already made themselves at home. McCreary grabs a chair and tosses you into it, before snatching up a bit of rope and securing you in place. When he finishes, he stares at you for a long second, and you glare back, not letting him intimidate you. He glares back at you, before rising to his full height and punching you across the face. You grunt in pain, his hit landing in the same place as his last two, and you’re sure a bruise is already forming along your right cheek and eye.
The handsome man from before runs over and grabs McCreary before he can hit you again, yelling, “Hey, hey, stop! We need her.”
They both grab each other, McCreary hands reaching for the man’s neck, and the woman runs over to break up the spat. “Hey! Enough!”
“He's not one of us. We lose four men, and he doesn't even care.”
The woman glares at McCreary, snapping back, “He is one of us. None of us is here without Shaw.”
Shaw. The handsome man is Shaw, the man all too eager to hit you is McCreary. Shaw is different from the others, evident by McCreary’s “not one of us” comments, but you still aren’t sure how he’s different. You tuck all of the information away for later, in case you need it. The two men release each other as McCreary counters, “None of us is here without me, either. You remember that.”
The woman glares at him, grabbing him by the front of his uniform, her voice low and threatening. “We all have a role to play, and we're all upset about the loss of our men. Take a team and sweep the woods for her friends.”
She releases him and he stares at her for a long second, before he nods and walks away, bumping Shaw on the way out. Shaw turns to glare at him, but makes no move towards him, and the woman walks closer to you, eyes scanning you. You see her gaze drop to the floor, onto a puddle of black blood near your feet, dripping from the bullethole in your shoulder. She turns to Shaw, pointing at the puddle. “You see this?”
He walks over to your chair and runs his finger through your blood, rubbing it between his fingers as he peers down at it. “Blood alteration like they had on the Eligius III. Two suns, no sunscreen needed.”
Two suns? Eligius III? Though the comment confuses you, you are careful to keep your expression blank, adding the information to the list of things that might be useful to you later.
“Must be how they survived down here.” The woman lifts her radio and mutters, “Bring me a med kit. Over.”
The request sends some hope, some relief through you, because captors rarely bandage up their prisoners if they’re just going to kill them in the end. For now, your survival seems likely, meaning you're still useful to them. Something you can work with. The woman pulls up a chair across from you, sitting down into it, threading her fingers together. “We got off on the wrong foot, you and I. We had no idea that there was anyone alive down here. How could we have? We were just trying to get back home. Imagine our surprise when we found that there was no home to get back to, and then your people started killing mine. Surely you can understand why I'm upset, just like you were upset when we took your village. I don't blame you. When a fascist government tried to take my home, I wanted blood, too. And I got it. Nobody else has to die today, just tell me what I need to know, and we can come up with an arrangement that works for all of us. Sound like a plan?”
You sift through the information she’s given you, filing parts of it away for later, careful to keep your expression neutral and unreadable. Shaw, convinced by your show, muses, “Maybe she doesn't speak English.”
The woman doesn't get to answer, because the door to your home suddenly bursts open, and a large man drags someone inside. “Colonel Diyoza, we found this one lurking in the woods outside.”
Your stomach drops as your eyes land on a head full of blonde hair, streaked with red, and she looks up and meets your eyes, looking worried. You see her eyes scan your face, landing on the forming bruise, before she takes notice of the blood dripping from your shoulder onto the ground. You see her worry deepen, but you send her a silent message with your eyes, letting her know you’re okay. You scan her body for additional injuries, relieved to find none as the woman, Diyoza, stands from the chair she was sitting in and slides it next to you, motioning towards it. “Tie her up next to the other one.”
As soon as Clarke is pushed down into the chair beside you, you turn her way and whisper, “No gonasleng. Weron deimeka?”
No English. Where’s the sun? She nods, understanding your command and your question. “Klir. Kamp daun oso sontam honen graun.”
Safe. Near our summer hunting grounds. You nod before you look away, Clarke now tied up beside you. When you do, your eyes land on Shaw and Diyoza, who clearly heard your whispered conversation. Shaw turns to Diyoza, “So, no English then.”
The radio at Diyoza’s side crackles to life with McCreary’s voice, updating everyone on their search. You see Clarke perk up from the corner of your eye, and Diyoza must see it too, because she smirks as she pulls up another chair. “They speak English, they just want us to think they don’t so we'll speak freely and reveal something they can use against us.”
The radio crackles with another update, Clarke clearly listening in, and you resist the urge to shake your head, wondering how someone so careful is now so obvious, her mama bear instincts overriding her warrior instincts. “Every time the patrol checks in this one looks at this. She's tracking our movements, that's all she cares about.”
Clarke freezes, not meaning to give either of you up, and Diyoza looks over to you, seeing if you're going to change your mind and answer any of her earlier inquiries. When you make no move to, she leans back in her chair, appraising you both. “You don't want to talk, that's fine, don't talk. But we'll see how you feel when we find whoever it is you're protecting.”
She lifts her radio, her eyes never leaving Clarke as she delivers the news. “Change of plans, ladies and gentlemen. No more prisoners, shoot to kill.”
Your blood runs cold, and you and Clarke share a look, but she manages to keep her cool, though you know she’s eager to kill everyone in this room and get back to Madi. Diyoza stands, watching you both, waiting for you to react, and when you don’t she sighs and puts the radio down on the table beside her. She grabs the medkit and walks over to you, but you shake your head, nodding over at Clarke. Her brows pull together but she moves to your twin instead, finding the injury they gave her when they blasted the three of you on the ridgeline. As she works, she calls out, “Shaw, they’re both bleeding, gimme a hand.”
She passes some supplies to Shaw before he walks over to you, searching your body for an injury. He finally finds the bullethole in your shoulder, and when he checks the front of your body, he sighs when he doesn't see an exit wound. “The bullet is still in your shoulder, I’m going to have to free one of your hands so I can get your jacket off to get a better look. Are you going to behave?”
You stare at him, trying to decide what to do, before ultimately you give him a single nod, knowing that Clarke already alerted them about your ability to understand, and that bleeding out as a prisoner is not how you want to go out. Shaw frees your left hand and then helps you shrug out of the arm of your jacket before he tugs down the neck of your shirt to get a better look. As he does, you feel his finger pass over the jagged scar on your shoulder, the one Clarke gave you when she cauterized your arrow wound on Luna’s rig. His face pops back into view again, giving you a strange look before he reaches for a pair of surgical pliers. “This is going to hurt.”
You give him no reaction and he takes that as a sign to continue, digging the pliers into the hole in your shoulder, searching for the bullet. Your jaw clenches, biting back a scream of pain, trying to keep up your show of strength. He digs around for an agonizingly long second before you feel the pliers slide out of the wound. A second later he grabs your hand and drops the bullet into it, glinting in the light beneath your black blood. He grabs a suture kit and stitches you up, your mind distracted from the pain as you roll the bullet around in your hand. Shaw finishes quickly, bandages your wound, and helps you back into your jacket before he restrains your hand again and steps away from you. You tuck the bullet into your pocket, a reminder to you on what you’re dealing with here. Diyoza finishes up on Clarke, both of you now bandaged, and the two of them walk away from you and your twin, leaving you to contemplate the mess you’re in.
Hours pass, and slowly day turns to night as your captivity continues. The sporadic updates from McCreary leave you and Clarke with hope, no mention of them finding Madi, leaving at least one of you safe. Sometime after dark, Shaw grabs a canteen and offers Clarke and then you a sip of water, before he settles into the seat across from you, his voice soft and pleading. “Come on, what harm can come from telling me your name?”
He watches you, waiting for you to answer, but when you don’t he leans back in his chair with a sigh. “Well, believe it or not, this is the best conversation I've had in over a hundred years. I was an altar boy in a church just like this. Saginaw, about two hours outside Detroit. On my Harley, I'd make it in one. God, I miss that bike...more than I miss most of the people.”
He opens his mouth to say something else, but McCreary’s voice comes through the radio, sounding excited. “Someone just ran out of that cave. Harris, Falk, watch your six. Fast little thing, we can cut her off at the lake. Go west. Wait, scratch that. She's turning North, I got a shot.”
You and Clarke exchange a look of fear, and she immediately breaks her silence. “No! She's just a child.”
Diyoza turns to face her, surprised. “She speaks.”
“Please.”
She stalks towards Clarke, her voice hard. “How many others are in the woods?”
“None. It's just the three of us. I am begging you, tell him not to shoot!”
“Fire at will.”
Clarke looks over at you, terrified at the thought of losing Madi, her daughter, her family, and you look at Diyoza. “I know where they are, over near our summer hunting grounds. She's leading them into a trap. If they don't stop right now, those men will die.”
Diyoza looks at you, unconvinced, but Shaw turns to her, looking sincere. “I believe her.”
You silently thank the kind hearted man as Clarke backs you up, “It's the truth. If you let her go, we'll tell you everything.”
Diyoza stares at you both, considering this offer, before she lifts the radio again. “All units: stand down. Falk, if McCreary disobeys, shoot him in the leg. Harris, if Falk disobeys, shoot him in the head. There may be traps near your position. Check it out and report back, over.”
It only takes a minute for them to come back on the radio, sounding shocked. “Son of a bitch, another bear trap. Almost stepped right in it.”
“Report to base camp. Over and out.”
Clarke looks up at the woman, eyes glassy with unshed tears. “Thank you.”
“Thank you for telling the truth. As long as you keep doing that, your friend in the woods will stay alive, and so will the two of you. Do we understand each other?”
You and Clarke both answer, “Yes.”
“Good, then let's begin. Start with how the world ended.”
You and Clarke share a knowing look, before you lean back in your chair, your voice serious, “Which time?”
“There was more than one?”
“Two, actually.”
“Start from the beginning.”
Clarke takes over, beginning the history lesson, as McCreary and a few others step inside your home, listening in. “On the Ark, they taught us that the war started as a Chinese first strike, but they were wrong. It was started by an AI called Alie. Her intention was to reduce the popu-”
She’s cut off by someone’s voice coming in over the radio. “Colonel, we have five more hostiles. At least one is armed, are we still playing nice?”
Everyone in the room cuts a glare over at you and Clarke, but the two of you share a look, utterly and completely bewildered. There’s no way. Diyoza grabs her radio, “Stand by.”
She points to the others in the room. “Find out where they are and reinforce their position. Not you, McCreary.”
She comes to stand in front of you and Clarke, absolutely fuming. “What did I tell you would happen if you lied to me?”
“We didn’t-”
“Everyone else is locked-”
Diyoza cuts you both off, hitting Clarke across the face, and then you. You bite back a yell of pain, sure that your cheek is bruised at this point. “Take them outside. Use the collar.”
Your eyes widen in alarm, not liking the sound of that, and the reactions of the two men around you only increase your worry. McCreary grins, already walking towards you. “I thought you'd never ask.”
Shaw stands from his seat, looking worried. “Colonel...they’re cooperating.”
“Which is why they’ll live. Their friends, on the other hand…” She lifts the radio, finally deciding on her plans. “Four of ours are dead. It's time to even the score.”
McCreary snaps a thick collar around your neck as another prisoner puts one on Clarke, and you are both pulled to your feet and dragged to the door, fighting the entire time. McCreary tosses you down the stairs, and you roll, hitting your shoulder on the way down. You hold back your scream, letting out a quiet groan of pain as Clarke is tossed down beside you. You pull yourself to your knees, your hands desperately clutching at the collar, and McCreary comes down the stairs and stops in front of you, two remotes in his hand. He tsks, “I wouldn't do that if I was you, you might burn your fingers.”
You pull your fingers away just in time, because seconds later a pulse of electricity moves from the collar, through your body. Little sounds of pain slip past your lips as you convulse, the shock worse than anything you’ve ever felt from the batons, and you can hear Clarke somewhere nearby, making similar sounds of pain. All around you prisoners start to cheer, gathering in a circle to watch, and you start to crawl away, hoping that you can outrun the pain that radiates through your body. Clarke groans out, “Please, we weren’t lying!”
“Hit them again.”
He hits you both again, both of you crying out in pain as the shock electrifies every cell in your body, tearing you apart, piece by piece. When the pain finally stops, you convulse for a second, your body trying to shake the pain off, and McCreary drops down in front of you, grinning. You weakly mutter, “We don't know who that was.”
“I guess you made your point.”
You’re grateful for Shaw, still trying to defend you and your twin, but Diyoza is less impressed. “You might be right. But just in case, hit them again.”
He electrifies you again, your whole body shaking from the force of it, and you can feel yourself growing weaker as the pulse moves through you. The pain stops abruptly, but it takes a second for your senses to return, and when you do, you realize you and Clarke are side by side, sitting in the path of a bright light. Diyoza yells, “Hold, and fire on my command.”
You and Clarke crawl towards each other, staring at the rover in front of you, as Clarke whispers, “Madi, no.”
Diyoza yells, “Come out with your hands high!”
You hear the rover door open and close, and you peer towards it, blinded by the bright lights. A figure approaches slowly, much taller than Madi, and your stomach drops, not sure what you’re seeing. Before their face comes into view, you hear their voice, washing over you and leaving you shocked. “I’m unarmed. Just want to talk.”
He comes closer, stepping into the path of the light, his face now coming into view.
Bellamy.
Tears instantly spring to your eyes, falling down your cheeks at the sight of him. He’s older, but he looks good, really good, facial hair now covering the lower half of his face. His hair is still long, curls bouncing around his face. You have to resist every cell in your body, screaming at you to run to him and jump in his arms. Instead, you pull yourself to your knees, your eyes locked on him, watching as he looks at all the prisoners pointing a gun his way.
“Talk. Give me one good reason not to kill you where you stand.”
Bellamy’s voice is full of leadership as he looks at Diyoza, “How about I give you 283? That's how many of your people are gonna die if you and I can't make a deal.”
He holds up a cup in his hand, and it must mean something to Diyoza because she freezes in place, an unreadable expression passing over her face. She nods, and Bellamy holds up a hand, signaling for the rover to back up and drive away. You hear Clarke sigh beside you, relieved that Madi is still safe. Diyoza glances back at you and your twin, before turning her focus on Bellamy. “283 lives for two. They must be pretty important to you.”
For the first time, Bellamy’s eyes finally find yours, surprised to see you on the ground, clearly in pain. Clarke is now on her knees beside you, looking at Bellamy in shock, and you see a look of pain pass over Bellamy’s face as he looks you over, taking in your appearance. He answers Diyoza, his eyes locked solely on you. “They are.”
You feel a rush of tears fall down your face again, fully crying as you look at the love of your life, back on Earth, standing in front of you. You can feel your muscles tense, wanting to run to him, but the collar shifts on your neck, reminding you of its presence, so you don’t. You just sit there, eyes locked on Bellamy, his eyes locked on yours, reminding you of all the love, memories, and history that the two of you share.
Diyoza turns to Shaw, her expression serious. “Assemble a team and head back to the transport, check on our people.”
Shaw starts to walk away, but Diyoza grabs him. “Take the girls with you. Anything goes wrong, kill them both.”
Shaw nods once, and McCreary pulls you to your feet while someone else grabs Clarke. They start to pull you away, away from Bellamy, and any self restraint you held onto goes out the window, threatened with the thought of never seeing Bellamy again. You start to fight, pulling against McCreary’s hold on you, wiggling in his grip. You call out for Bellamy, finally getting yourself free from your captor, and you take off towards him, Bellamy’s arms already opening, ready to grab you in a hug. You smile, overcome with relief, but you never make it to him. Halfway across the space someone activates your collar, sending electricity pulsing through you, more powerful than before. You hit the ground, convulsing and twitching, your body focused on nothing other than the shockwaves that pulse through you. You think you’re screaming, but it’s hard to tell. It’s hard to think of anything other than the electricity that invades your body and destroys you.
You’re relieved when the pain finally stops, but your body is exhausted, unable to handle the last hit of electricity, and you feel yourself start to slip into unconsciousness. You hear Shaw yelling at someone, and Bellamy saying your name, and you try to fight the darkness that engulfs you, wanting to get back to him, but it’s too strong. It grabs your body, wrapping you up, before the darkness takes the plunge, bringing you with it.

hi! this is out of curiosity, since when do you start to watch adv series in its original jap. ver.? do you find any difficulty in trying to adapt, get used to it? like the voices, names of the characters, music, the way the story is presented. i first watch the series in my own language and the english ver (not the us ver., more like asian english ver.) before i encounter the original jap. ver. during my teenage years and get used to it over time until now. i'm okay with dub ver, but i always prefer, love to watch the jap. ver. more than other dubs.
(Note: This was cleared up later with the asker and various parties, so mostly leaving this for posterity: while it's not universally well-known, "J*p" is a slur originating from WWII, so I ask that people please be careful about not using that even as an abbreviation.)
Regardless of language, I've always been interested in original versions of any dubbed media for as long as I've been consuming media (I won't say I'm necessarily a purist, I just happen to have a natural curiosity for what must have been the original source), so I'd been interested in the Japanese version of Digimon ever since I first got into it, and had been following it ever since it started getting translated. If you know anything about Digimon and subbing, it actually took some years for most early Digimon series to get decent quality subs in full, so I thank everyone involved for their hard work, especially since the prevailing attitude at the time was that "the (American) English dub didn't change anything substantial anyway" (ignoring the fact that there would still be good reason to have the Japanese version on hand even if that were the case...) and the demand for it was even more niche than it is now.
I didn't really have problems getting used to names. I did have to get used to the voices, because since I got in with the American English dub initially, I had a strong attachment to the voices I'd associated with them there (and I still do, even if I haven't fully watched the dub in years!), so there would be things like Yamato (Kazama Yuuto)'s voice being much deeper than I'd expected, or Agumon's voice being completely different in general, but I got used to it quickly because I felt like everyone fit their character perfectly in their own way. The music was a bit surprising, but I was never too incredibly attached to the original music anyway so it was mostly just discovering something new and fun. Other than that, I guess I was incredibly surprised by how different of an impression 02 gave me, especially Daisuke; having been eyeing 02 in Japanese since translation efforts first started, I knew there had been some changes (Hurricane Touchdown...) but the actual degree really surprised me, especially since, as I said, the prevailing attitude was that "it didn't change much". Part of the reason I write so extensively about how much the 02 dub changed is that I personally witnessed firsthand how much my perception of the series abruptly shifted after my first time watching it in Japanese, and how nearly impossible it became to hold analytical conversations about certain smaller details with people who mistakenly over-applied dub things to the Japanese version because "we're actually talking about two different things, aren't we..." never comes up thanks to how prevalent this myth is. Driving this home further, I don't have this issue at all with fans who had their own local dubs more closely adapted from the Japanese version, so the problem really isn't whether it was in Japanese or not, or whether it was a dub or not, as much as the fact "the script really did change that much".
Currently, I guess I would say I have a pretty complicated relationship with Digimon's American English dubs. Like I said, I don't necessarily think I'm a purist or anything, and even though I have an increased stake in watching things in Japanese since I can actually understand much more about the language than I used to, I myself still enjoy a good dub and also completely understand and appreciate the nature of what dubbing entailed in those days, the dub's role in getting Digimon to a wider audience, the reason people prefer dubs and how important this one is to people, and, heck, I still love the voice actors. At the same time, this "it didn't change anything significant" myth has been really damaging and frustrating to deal with, because you get pointless, unnecessary arguments about people trying to talk about two very different versions of the series and arguing because they don't realize the characters they're discussing weren't even written similarly (hi, Mimi and Daisuke). Even if people do acknowledge the changes, there's also a tendency to worship that dub, so even though I feel my complaints about it are pretty legitimate ones (my gripes mainly being that I'm uncomfortable with the characterization changes, I feel many of the changes caused a significant adverse impact on the story and characterization integrity especially in the case of 02, and I get a bit of a bad feeling about some of the cultural localization attempts in dialogue borderline crossing into racism), it's frustrating to constantly get shut down because everything should be excused as long as it was in someone's childhood, and it's also frustrating to see these dismissals applied to people who had their own aforementioned local dubs and are upset at how this impacted their own childhood, but are thrown under the bus because their own dub is treated disrespectfully as if it were "secondary" to the American English dub somehow being the enforced, mandated standard for any kind of localized Digimon outside Japan.
I completely understand that a lot of this is lashback developed from Japanese-version-only purist camps being obnoxious about dunking on dubs, but it's uncomfortable observing the results of the fallout when you're kind of here in the middle not wanting to dunk on it for the sake of dunking on it, but also having concerns that you feel everyone is dismissing you for. (Not helping is also the fact that obnoxious purists love to dunk on people for having a personal preference for dubs; there are a lot of reasons to prefer them even if you're aware of the changes, personal emotional attachment and accessibility reasons being among them, and my grievances have more to do with the "it didn't change anything" myth still being prevalent, the experiences of having any criticism I have of it being so easily dismissed, and the fact that a combination of both means that having strong loyalty to the Japanese version gets you pinned as being an unusual purist or being overly picky.)
Also, I think one thing that isn't often talked about is that there's a huge difference between the dubs of everything up to 02 and the dubs of everything between Tamers and Savers (Xros Wars we'll...leave aside for now, haha). In the case of the latter, the aggressive joke-adding is much less intrusive, the changes (including to characterization) are less significant, and you can even see this in that Diablomon Strikes Back's dub has much closer dialogue and characterization to the original than anything else from the 02 dub. So a lot of what I said above actually just applies to Adventure and 02 more than anything. For series after, I don't make it a habit to watch their dubs as often these days, but I'm still familiar with them and have my own pretty strong sense of nostalgia for the Tamers and Frontier ones in particular, and for anything after 02, I haven't had any particular experience with other fans regarding trying to discuss the series but finding we're talking about two different things, other than maybe one or two minor things that had to be cleared up every so often. So in that case I myself also agree more with the idea of mostly treating the dubbed and Japanese versions as the same thing, whereas with Adventure and 02 I honestly feel they need to be treated as separate and distinct things.
In the end I guess the take-home I have here is that I feel like my experience going from the dub to the Japanese version has been a lot less shocking or eventful than dealing with the perceptions and stigmas around them from other people...^^;;

Exceptional (Sugawara x Reader)
Warnings: None
Genre: Fluff, Slight Angst
Part: 1/1
Summary: Suga begins talking with the girl that sits next to him in English. He’s quick to fall in love with her and even quicker to pretend he isn’t. She thinks he’s exceptional; he doesn’t agree.
•••
Being replaced by an insanely talented first year is something I think about a lot. I made the right choice, I know that, but it doesn’t make me feel any less bad about it. I made the choice that I thought would take us to National’s and that would allow my closest friends to play, even if I didn’t get that same opportunity. Kageyama deserves the spot. He was gifted, that was for sure, but he also worked hard.
Compared to him, I feel less than ordinary. I’m a third year that barely plays. I’m not smart but not stupid either. I’m cute but not attractive. I’m just....there. Kageyama might not be the smartest, but he makes up for it with killer skill and good looks.
Watching my friends play with a big smile on my face comes as second nature because I’m proud of them. I’m so so proud of them. I just wish that I could be the one playing with them sometimes. Like how it used to be. Then maybe I wouldn’t feel so, for lack of better words, blah about myself.
“Hey, Sugawara. Are you ok?”
The words are whispered quietly, but they’re still enough to bring me back to reality. I turned my head to see the pretty girl I’d been crushing on all year, Y/N L/N, looking at me. I smiled nervously and rubbed the back of my neck.
“Y-Yea I’m ok,” I said sheepishly.
“You just looked really sad. You were really deep in thought, huh?” she asked, a small smile on her face.
I felt a wave of butterflies in my chest. She was smiling at me. I couldn’t stop a smile of my own from breaking out at the realization.
“I was, wasn’t I.”
She looked like she was about to respond when suddenly our teacher cleared her throat. I whipped my head up towards her and saw her glaring down at us from the front of the class. Everyone was staring, even Asahi who was grinning widely at me.
“Sugawara. L/N. See me after class, please.”
I mumbled an apology and sent an apologetic smile towards Y/N before focusing back on the teacher. It wasn’t long before the bell for lunch was ringing. I told Asahi that I’d meet him and Daichi after dealing with the teacher and not to wait up for me. He waved goodbye and I made my way up to the teachers desk where Y/N was standing as well. She didn’t seem too annoyed, so I prayed this would be over soon.
She gave us a quick scolding before sending us on our ways. I sighed in relief and grabbed my things, mustering up the courage to talk to Y/N. At the very least, I owed them an apology for getting them in trouble. As we were walking out of class, I finally squashed the churning in my stomach and turned to look at Y/N.
Surprisingly, she was already looking up at me.
“I’m sorry about getting you in trouble,” I apologized, a nervous grin breaking out on my face.
“Oh, it’s ok! It wasn’t that big of a deal,” she assured me, a tiny smile setting my insides on fire.
“R-Right. Well, at least let me buy you something to make it up to you. Do you like anything from the vending machines?” I asked.
Her eyes lit up immediately and I was grinning wider before I could stop myself. She visibly brightened before answering.
“I do! They have this really good milk. It’s not as good as the one’s they sell a few blocks from my house, but they’re a close second.”
We ended up spending the entire lunch period together, something Daichi and Asahi bullied me for extensively when they saw me at practice that night. We got so lost in conversation that both of us forgot to eat, simply standing by the vending machine and chatting excitedly about everything. I learned that she was really passionate about milk, that her favorite season was fall because she loved the feeling of being wrapped up in a warm scarf, that she was getting top scores in all her classes, etc.
If it was even possible, I was falling harder for her every second.
From that day on, we seemed to run into each other more often. It was small things at first. A simple passing in the hallway and eyes meeting from up at the second story window. Then it got bigger. Meeting at the vending machine to talk and leaving class to eat lunch together. Eventually, it got to the point where I was subconsciously scanning the crowd for her as if my body was seeking her out on its own.
We had grown to be close friends and the idea of being close to her no longer filled me with butterflies, but an intoxicating warmth instead.
I smiled as I continued walking home. Practice was cancelled today due to the gym being closed for maintenance. Daichi and Asahi has parted ways with me a few minutes ago and I was making the rest of the walk alone like usual. That was, until a familiar person called out my name.
“Suga?”
“Y/N?” I asked in shock, turning to face her as she came running up to me.
She engulfed me in a hug that made my skin tingle and buzz. I reciprocated, enjoying the brief feeling of her hair tickling my chin and her arms around my waist. When she finally pulled away, she was laughing happily.
“What are you doing here?” she asked, falling into a peaceful stride to continue walking with me.
“I live a few blocks away from here,” I said, pointing in the general direction of my house.
He eyes widened in shock as she looked up at me, but she was quickly smiling excitedly.
“No way! So do I! I can’t believe I’ve never seen you walk this way before,” she said, contemplating as she looked up ahead.
“Usually I’m still at volleyball practice by now. It was cancelled today because of maintenance on the gym,” I explained, my heart racing slightly at the prospect of living so close to her.
“That’s right! Don’t you guys have a match coming up? Against uh... jeez what was their name. Don’t tell me,” she said, brows furrowing as she struggled to remember the name before suddenly relaxing and saying, “Aoba Johsai!”
She smiled up at me and I could have sworn my heart melted on the spot. Her eyes were sparkling and she seemed to almost be glowing, so proud of herself for remembering. I couldn’t stop myself from staring.
“Was that not right?” she asked, frowning slightly.
“No no! I’m sorry, I got lost in thought again,” I apologized quickly, recovering slightly from my panic when her frown disappeared, “We have a match against them this weekend. It’s just a practice, though.”
“Oh, really? The way Kageyama was talking about it made it sound like it was a real match.”
My heart dropped into my stomach at that point. I quickly schooled the shock in my expression before she could notice.
“You know Kageyama?” I asked hesitantly.
“Hmm? Oh yea. I help tutor him sometimes. Our parents work together so that’s how I met him. He’s always talking about your guys team instead of studying,” she said, giggling slightly at her own memory of it, “That’s why I kind of already knew who you were before we became friends.”
Of course she knew Kageyama. Come to think of it, it made sense. She had known my name without me ever introducing myself. I gave a half hearted smile as I pretended to listen to her talk. I felt my heart sinking lower and lower with each step I took. Her and Kageyama would make sense together.
They both loved milk to an insane degree. They were both attractive. They both have a burning passion for the things they enjoy like nobody else I’ve ever seen. And she clearly cared enough about him to remember even the most minute details about volleyball that he no doubt rambled about during their study sessions. How could I ever compete with Kageyama? This was just another area he would beat me in.
“-and next time you guys have a real game, you should tell me! I’d love to go,” she said, the first half of her sentence lost to the buzzing of my thoughts.
“Oh, uh...yea. That’d be nice.”
We parted ways after that and I went home, noticeably gloomier than before.
When my friends asked me what happened I told them it was nothing and not to worry about it. Neither of them would understand how I was feeling and I didn’t want to burden them or guilt them into putting me in more. Kageyama was what was best for the team and who would probably be the best for Y/N anyway.
We continued on like normal, except for the occasional days where I would walk home with her. For the most part, I tried to avoid talking about volleyball with her because it always circled around the Kageyama. It only reminded me of what little chance I had with her. So, when it finally came time for our first real game, I didn’t except Y/N to actually show up.
“Suga!” she said, catching my attention as she weaved her way through the crowd.
“Y/N? What are you doing here?” I asked, shocked to see her here on a Saturday.
“I came to cheer you guys on! Kageyama invited me,” she explained, pointing to the bright orange jersey with the number 9 on it.
If it was even possible, my heart sunk even lower. She was wearing his jersey. That meant they had to be dating, or at least that they liked each other and hadn’t admitted it yet. I took a deep breath and forced a smile onto my face.
“That’s great,” I lied, hoping desperately to find an excuse to leave.
“Don’t tell Kageyama I said this, but I hope that they put you in this game. I’d love to see you play,” she said.
Before I had a chance to respond, Daichi called my name and I had to go warm up. She disappeared into the crowd leaving me even more confused than before. The dull ache in my chest was still there but I ignored it in favor of focusing on the warm ups. Every once in a while I would catch a glimpse of Y/N watching us from the risers and I couldn’t help but hope they put me in at least a little.
As if my wish was granted, I ended up being subbed in for Kageyama during the second set. As we were switching, I heard her cheering my name. I looked over my shoulder and saw her shouting happily. Our eyes met and I knew from that moment that I needed to pull out my A game even more.
I stayed on the court for longer than I was expecting, but I still wanted to play more. I missed when I used to play the entire game. I smiled bitterly as Kageyama entered the court once more. I made sure to give him one of my trademark good luck comments, but it hurt more to say this time. Watching Kageyama play just reminded me of why Y/N would definitely pick him instead.
The game ended with a win for us and we quickly cleaned up before getting ready to eat lunch before our second game. I was talking with Daichi and Asahi when I caught Y/N and Kageyama talking. She was talking animatedly and Kageyama, for once, seemed to actually be listening. The sight of them together stung, but I couldn’t deny that they would make a good couple even with their age difference. I turned back around to continue listening to Daichi talk, resigning myself to another defeat.
It wasn’t more than a minute later that I felt someone run up next to me. I turned to look at who it was and saw Y/N, babbling excitedly about how amazing we all were today. She was still wearing Kageyama’s jersey, something Daichi and Asahi noticed but decided not to mention. The boy himself was nowhere to be seen, but that was typical of him during our breaks. He usually ate alone to keep himself in the zone.
“Hey, Y/N. Where’s Kageyama?” Asahi asked.
“I have no clue. That boy is always leaving me without telling me where he’s going. I pray for whoever he ends up dating,” she said with a sigh, giggling slightly as she said the last part.
“W-Wait, you’re not dating him?” I asked in disbelief and also surprise.
“What? Absolutely not! He’s like a little brother to me!” she replied, laughter bubbling out of her at the mere idea of it.
The wave of relief that washed over me was almost suffocating. She didn’t like Kageyama. That meant maybe I had a chance?
“If you’re not dating then why wear his jersey? That’s typically a couple thing to do,” Daichi pointed out.
She looked down at the oversized jersey that was tucked into her pants and then looked up with an innocent smile on her face. It still managed to send butterflies through me even after months of being friends.
“I guess it does look like that, doesn’t it? Honestly, it’s just something we’ve always done. Ever since middle school,” she explained.
“Well, why don’t we go get some lunch?” Daichi proposed.
We all nodded and headed towards the small cafe nearby. We all ordered and began talking as we waited for our food to come out. Daichi and Asahi went to the bathroom, leaving Y/N and I alone. There was a comfortable silence for a few moments before she spoke.
“Suga, can I ask you something?”
I took a sip of my drink and nodded. She shuffled slightly in her seat nervously before meeting my eyes. The intensity of her gaze sent a jolt of electricity through my spine and commanded my full attention.
“Why didn’t you invite me to come today?” she asked, a hint of hurt in her tone.
Her question caught me slightly off guard and I choked slightly on my drink. I coughed a few times as I forced myself to calm down before meeting her eyes once more.
“Why didn’t I invite you?” I repeated, checking to make sure I had heard her right.
“Yea. I always tell you I want to see you play, but then when you finally had a real game coming up I had to find out from Kageyama. Did you not want me to come or something?” she questioned, her usual confidence disappearing into thin air.
“That’s not it at all!” I said quickly, shocking even myself with how loud I was before lowering my voice and continuing, “It’s nothing like that, I promise.”
“Then what is it like? You always avoid talking about volleyball with me and you never want me to come watch your practices. I just don’t understand why you try to keep me away from that part of your life. We’re friends! I want to see you doing what you’re passionate about,” she huffed, her brows furrowing as she spoke.
I sighed, my shoulders dropping slightly as I cast my gaze down onto the table. There wasn’t going to be any way out of this except for me to tell the truth. I took a deep breath before starting.
“It’s because I’m embarrassed,” I admitted quietly.
Y/N stayed quiet, waiting patiently for me to continue. I looked up at her with a pained expression.
“Kageyama and I play the same position. We’re both setters, but there can only be one setter on the field at a time. Even though he’s a first year and I’m a third year, he’s way more talented than I am so I convinced Coach Ukai to put him in instead of me as a starter. I know that it was the best decision for the team but...it’s still really hard on me sometimes knowing that I’m not good enough to do it myself. Compared to him, I always lose. He’s just better than me at basically everything and sometimes I can’t help but think that everybody else thinks that as well. And I didn’t...I didn’t want you to think of me that way.”
As I finished, it felt like a small weight was lifted off my chest. Finally saying all my fears and insecurities out loud was relieving. Y/N was smiling sympathetically, which only made me feel even better about finally saying everything out loud.
“Sugawara Koshi, you are exceptional, you know that?” she said, a huge grin on her face.
My heart fluttered at her words but my face twisted into a disbelieving frown. I opened my mouth to protest only for her to cut me off.
“I’m serious! Look, I can’t say that I know much about volleyball, but I can tell that you’re good at it. Kageyama is amazing, don’t get me wrong, but that doesn’t mean that you aren’t. You both have different strengths and weaknesses and I could tell during the game that you really helped stabilize the team and boost them to their full potential. And even outside of volleyball you’re amazing! You’re the kindest person I’ve ever met and you always know what to say to make me laugh after a long exhausting day,” she said, her eyes shining with nothing but admiration as she continued, “You put 100% of your effort into everything you do, no matter what. You’re constantly supporting others during their time of need, but you also won’t hesitate to literally and figuratively knock some sense into them when they’re spiraling. So, when I say you’re exceptional, I mean it.”
“I...don’t even know what to say,” I whispered, completely awestruck at the fact that my crush could say such passionate things about me.
She blushed, laughing awkwardly as she rubbed the back of her neck. If my heart wasn’t already soaring, it was now. Her pure beauty even doing the most simple of things never failed to astound me.
“I guess that was a bit much. Sorry for getting carried away,” she apologized, smiling sheepishly at me.
There was a lot of things I wanted to say at that moment, but the thing that came out was definitely not what I was expecting.
“Will you go on a date with me?”
Her eyes widened slightly in shock as she processed what I said. Even my own eyes widened, my words finally catching up to me. I blushed profusely and was silently praying that the world would swallow me whole at that very moment. I was about to start apologizing when she smiled, a bright excited smile, and responded.
“I would love to.”
When the four of us eventually returned to the stadium to play our second match, with Y/N watching from the balcony once more, her jersey had a giant number 2 on it instead.

TWEWY 02
Tumblr media
Already Day 4 and it’s just episode 2! I mean, I knew they were gonna rush it but this is really rushed. Is this just 12 episodes? They should’ve doubled it cause the story... but they’re trying to finish this up before the release of NTWEWY so...
I thought last week “I’ll make the next TWEWY anime post after each game weeks.” but I need to vent so here I am! Spoilers for the game below cause I can’t just not say anything.
To anime-only watchers, please play the game or watch someone’s gameplay of it! The story is way better told in the game.
Tumblr media
Here’s the gang hanging out together. They do talk about some stuff about themselves with Neku telling them he likes it that no one can see him in the UG. Rushed but at least it’s here. Rhyme also mentions that she has no dreams for the future and Beat’s outburst afterwards hints at what Rhyme’s entry fee was. If it’s vaguely hinted in the game, this scene makes it a bit more explicit.
Tumblr media
No Reaper Creeper. They didn’t adapt it probably to save time. Shiki used imprinting to help Ai and Mina talk to each other so the scene went by fast. Also, the surprise for Ai instead of 2 Tin Pin Slammer tickets are 2 tickets to a performance of 777′s band. It’s also a birthday gift (that Makoto is also aware of) unlike in the game where Mina gave her the tickets to help her get close to Makoto seeing as Ai has a crush on the guy.
The tickets are a little change but I guess this may also mean they’re not adapting Tin Pin Slammer in the anime. *cries* B-but Children’s card Tin Pin game is serious business!
Joshua loves playing that game, too... (I was hoping for an OVA version of “Another Day” after the series ends but who knows?)
Tumblr media
Instead of helping Makoto make the Red Skull Pins popular, they gave the job to the Prince, Eiji, who gives them away at his little show. The mission this time is to make everyone look up at the Q building screen since they hear some guy tell Makoto to help him make everyone watch their video (instead of the commercial for the pins) to be displayed on there at the same time stated on the text message. Neku uses imprinting to make Eiji advertise it for them.
I guess this means Makoto gets less screentime and character development (even if he does have a little arc in the game). Him being the one whose job is to sell the pins and make them trendy is what gave him a confidence boost to change for the next weeks.
Tumblr media
I didn’t notice this before... was it shown properly in episode 1? I was out of it for the most part due to excitement so I might have not noticed.
Anyways... 777 gave Shiki a freaking keypin that’s only to be used by Reapers and players obviously can’t have them. I get it though... the sidequests were cut off from the show to save time but giving them a keypin? It’s a big deal since 777 was erased after he gave them a keypin to help them in the final week.
Tumblr media
This appears at the time the commercial should be on and some weird light destroys the other players. What was that?! That was more than just foreshadowing to what the Red Skull Pins are!
Tumblr media
And Joshua stops it before it could make things worse and get to Neku and Shiki.
They also foreshadowed Joshua’s abilities! Are they trying to make the anime watchers catch on to who Josh actually is before even his week starts? I mean, I like that I’m sorta seeing Josh here but still!
Tumblr media
Neku and Shiki having a little pep talk. It’s not as great as the game’s but at least it’s still here. Even if it’s rushed and stuff.
Tumblr media
Eri is animated! The scene where Shiki hears about Eri’s thoughts on her is emotional with both girls crying and all unlike in the game which makes sense cause Shiki had just recently passed away. Some stuff to note:
-Eri is in a school uniform. They can afford this cause they don’t have to use the same sprite as what Shiki has in the game.
-Her uniform plus the fact that it’s a random character with her and not Mina means they probably go to a different school than Ai and Mina.
-This is where the reveal happens for Neku (and the audience) that all the players are dead instead of it being revealed by Higashizawa. I’m okay with this somewhat since it’s not really weird for Shiki to be the one to reveal it especially since they already gave her the roles of giving Neku the game explanations.
Also, we’re nearing the ending of Shiki’s week but Rhyme is still okay. I’m guessing they’re gonna have her and Beat attacked next episode instead of on Day 4 like in the game.
--
Oh yeah, since the planned OP for this was scrapped, they replaced it with something else. “Twister” is now the OP! I’m okay with that! Super ok! I’m sure there are other fans of the game who probably feel the same way since they were also hoping they use Twister as the OP. Glad they did this! I still feel the planned OP went to waste though.
“Calling” is officially the battle song. I wish they would also use “Someday”.
They also revealed the ED! The song is good (”Carpe Diem” by Asca) and the accompanying video is beautiful and it showed out main cast doing the same fighting poses they had in the game but with the anime’s art style (which is close to the game with only a little difference). They did some little foreshadowing again due to how they showed Joshua (seriously... did they want the anime-only watchers to suspect things this early? Week 2 hasn’t even started yet!).
I’m happy Ani-One is able to post the episodes on Youtube (which means I’m not watching this illegaly hehe) but the subtitles they have are off. They tried subbing the songs but they don’t seem to fit the actual meaning. Like there are parts of “Twister” and “Calling” that are in English (like, full sentences) but they “translated” those parts and the meaning is different. They also refer to Makoto as “Shin” in the subs which doesn’t make any sense. They misspelled Eri’s name as “Ari”. I hope they fix it.
I still enjoy the fight scenes and Neku using his psyches.
This would’ve been better with more episodes so they could focus on the story progression but I guess this’d have to do. I kinda realized this might be the case since the adaptation for “Devil Survivor 2″ with the same “7 days or it’s the end” plot but unlike DeSu2 which takes place for like, a week only (so 13 episodes wasn’t that bad) TWEWY’s entire story is worth an entire month. 12-13 episodes won’t cut it especially if they plan on adapting the “A New Day” scenario and since they’re trying to connect this series to NTWEWY, that’s probably what they’re gonna do. Oh boy...
Anyways, I guess this’ll be a weekly thing with me venting haha. I’d probably be fangirling when Joshua finally shows up on Week 2 though. I wonder if they’re gonna put JoshNeku ship tease in there like in the game? I’d be disappointed if they don’t since it’s Joshua’s thing lol plus DeSu2 did it for YamaHibi so I’m kinda... I now have standards hahaha.
Thanks for reading!

jinyoung x reader
when you switch places with your twin sister to teach English in South Korea. You quickly find you’re worse at the job than you think. Luckily, kindergarten teacher Jinyoung helps you navigate the waters of teaching and help your class pass their end of the year exams.
requested, unedited
warnings: oh boy where do i even begin, sub jinyoung, baby boy and mommy used excessively (im not sorry), overstimulation (sort of), nipple play, jinyoung is just really subby and cute ok, let me know if im missing anything bc this is a mess
word count: 3.1 k
There was a certain way that your twin sister had about her that made it impossible to say no. She had used this against you her entire life, and it hadn’t stopped as you grew out of teenagers and became adults. In fact, her requests got more and more demanding. Which is how you found yourself on a 15-hour flight to South Korea.
It was a simple switch really, she had gotten pregnant and wanted you to fill in for her. She had spent about half of the year teaching English to 6th graders and couldn’t leave for half of the year. You were pretty positive that she had just told you that so she wouldn’t have to pay rent on the year-long lease she had signed, but honestly, you were kinda excited. Not about the kids, you had no idea what to do with them, but more so about living in a different country kinda thing.
The flight was long, and you spent the whole time watching movies, unable to sleep. So, admittedly you were exhausted when you stood in front of your new apartment. You made your way inside, and you had to be honest, the apartment was way nicer than your home back in the States. It was nowhere near as big, but it was filled with nicer, comfier furniture and a giant bed that you couldn’t resist.
You awoke with a start, rubbing your eyes and groaning. You had no time to waste since your first day in the classroom was supposed to be today. You hadn’t made any plans for your students, but you didn’t have enough time to make one. Scurrying around the apartment you pulled together a business casual outfit, grabbing a piece of toast from the toaster and hurrying out of the apartment with only one shoe on. The other shoe balanced delicately in your hands with a cup of coffee, and your toast.
By the time you made it into the school, You were more put together. You were still extremely nervous about meeting the students and you were praying that they would be nice to you. You weren’t too fond of kids, and, unlike your sister, you were terrible at interacting with them.
Your thoughts of the day were taking over, and as you desperately searched for your sister's classroom, you bumped into a broad chest.
“Hey, you ok y/s/n?” A handsome man asked, his sweater showing off his broad shoulders. You had no idea who this guy was, but damn your sister for failing to mention that someone so handsome existed. You smiled at him, your cheeks heating up as you stared, looking for some sort of name tag. You couldn’t find one.
“I’m ok, just kinda lost for some reason,” you laughed, “My brain hasn’t started yet, I guess.”
“Ah, well maybe I can point you in the right direction?” The man said, looking at you quizzically, you were clearly failing at convincing him you were actually your sister. If he had any questions, though, he didn’t ask them. Instead leading you down a winding hallway and into a classroom.
“Ah, it’s good to be back,” you smiled, praying that he wouldn’t be too suspicious, “Thanks for your help!”
The man just took one glance behind him, before deciding to just close the door of the classroom.
“So you’re the twin, right?”
“Uh, I don’t know what you mean…” You tried, glancing at the desk and seeing the picture of you and your sister. She could be a real idiot sometimes. The man just raised an eyebrow at you, glancing at the picture on the desk and then back at you.
“Listen, I know you aren’t y/s/n,” he stated, “she’s never this nice to me. Plus, what kind of teacher forgets where their classroom is?”
You let out a nervous chuckle at his accusation, it was only the first day and you had already been found out.
“Don’t worry,” he added, “I’m not gonna tell anyone. My name’s Jinyoung. It's nice to meet you…”
“YN,” you said, taking his outstretched hand and shaking it, “I really don’t want to get my sister in trouble, so it would be really great if you kept it a secret.”
“Like I said, I am not gonna tell anyone,” he smiled, “but you are going to need to learn everyone else's names if you are going to try and pull this off.”
That was how you found yourself studying the school’s website, trying to memorize faces and names, with Jinyoung’s tips about their respective personalities. One thing you learned was that your sister wasn’t liked here, probably another reason she hadn’t wanted to tell you who she was working with. You got to talking with Jinyoung and learned that he was a kindergarten teacher. You and Jinyoung talked through your planning period, at least that’s what he called it, and when you told him you had no clue what you were doing, he suggested putting on a movie, an English movie of course.
You stared at the list of names on your roster, Jinyoung laughing at your pathetic attempts to pronounce their names. He had to write out the pronunciation just so you could get it somewhat recognizable.  As you called the students of your class up during the first period, you had them write an English name that you could call them by. It was just easier and the kids seemed to be relieved that you weren’t going to butcher their names, although you did feel kinda bad about not calling them by their names. You explained to them that you'd be spending this semester watching and dissecting movies before putting one on.
As time passed, this became your teaching method, watch a movie with the kids, and go over any questions about words that they had after the movie. You weren’t really sure if this was an effective way to teach English, but you didn’t have any better ideas. Jinyoung had become your only friend, as the rest of your school hated your sister, it just made sense. Especially because he knew about your little secret. It had become apparent that the two of you were attracted to each other. Both your students and he had started asking if the two of you were dating. You, of course, denied it, because he was just your friend. No matter how handsome he was. You shook thoughts of Jinyoung out of your head as you started to clean up the pizza party you had to help calm down the kids. You had never met kids who were as stressed out like these ones. Plus their exams were in a few days, and they needed a little break.
You let out a quiet curse word as a cough rang out from behind you.
“Any pizza left for me?” Jinyoung asked, his presence beside you sending you into the same thought process that you had been in before. You cleared your throat, reaching for a plate to hand to him.
“The leftovers are all yours,” you smiled, chuckling at his over-exaggerated hand heart that he sent your way.
“I was wondering if you wanted to get a drink tonight?” Jinyoung asked, a mouthful of pizza making his words hard to understand.
“What?” You laughed, “Chew your food first you monster.”
He just laughed with you, covering his mouth as he chewed, “Sorry, I was wondering if maybe you would want to get a drink with me tonight?”
“Ms. Y/L/N, you have to go with him!” One of your students whined, apparently he had forgotten his coat for recess. Jinyoung just grinned at you, and you couldn’t help but roll your eyes.
“Stay out of it,” you warned, shooing the boy back to recess. Your focused honed in, ignoring a grinning Jinyoung and busying yourself with tidying the plates and napkins.
“You should listen to him,” Jinyoung sang, heat flaming your cheeks as you looked at him.
“I’ll get drinks with you, but only if you SWEAR not to tell your kindergarteners, deal?”
At this, Jinyoung just chuckled, “It’s a deal, I’ll pick you up outside of your room at promptly at 4:30.”
It was your turn to laugh, the banter that the two of you often shared making a warm fuzz to fill your tummy. The fuzz that was normally only achieved through alcohol. You ignored the periods after lunch, your thoughts filling with Jinyoung. To be fair, most of the conversations your students were having were about you and Jinyoung too. The word of the date spreading quickly through the 6th grade, and you were assuming through the rest of the school.
Your nerves didn’t pick up until your students were dismissed. Frankly, you couldn’t stand the thought of grading worksheets when you knew what was in store for you later. You needed some time to relieve some stress, and you had a feeling that Jinyoung would help provide that for you.
Jinyoung was at the door of your classroom right when he said he would be, and his over the top bow made you chuckle as you collected your things. You weren’t sure exactly where you were going, but you knew Jinyoung would take you somewhere nice. He did.
When you walked into the Korean Barbeque restaurant, the smell of cooking meat filled your nose, and the sound of it sizzling on the grill had your heart beating faster. You hadn’t realized how hungry you are until you sat down and heard your stomach grumble.
“You should really take care of that,” Jinyoung laughed, lazily perusing the menu.
“Well then, order me some food,” you smiled, taking your hair down from the bun it was in. When you look back at Jinyoung, his eyes were darker, and if you could’ve seen his crotch, you were certain there would be a noticeable bulge.
“Excited for the food?” you asked, quirking an eyebrow at him.
“I’m thinking about dessert,” he smirked, his tongue wetting his lips.
This flirty banter continued all throughout dinner, your arousal growing by the time the both of you had finished your 3rd soju bottle.
Jinyoung’s cheeks were flushed red and you couldn’t help but smile at his drunken ramblings. When he paid for the dinner and stood up, he wobbled a little bit.
“Woah, there,” you laughed, watching his ears burn red as he steadied himself.
You walked together out of the door, his balance much better than it had been when he stood up.
“Listen, I’m not that drunk, just feeling a little fuzzy,” he said, his already red cheeks flushing even more.
“It’s ok Jinyoung, I’m feeling fuzzy too.”
You walked in silence for a moment, but you could feel Jinyoung’s eyes burning a hole into the side of your face. When you turned to look at him, he had a goofy grin on his face, and you couldn’t help but let out a laugh.
“I like making you laugh,” he whispered, grabbing your hand and interlocking it with his own. His hands were cold, but they warmed you up from the inside out. His thumb rubbing gently over your hand as you walked. He had your heart beating out of your chest, and by the time you made it to your front door, his body was pressed flush against you. His arms wrapped around your waist, and you both waddled into your apartment, Jinyoung refusing to let you go. When his face landed in the crook of your neck, your stomach flipped.
“Your hair smells good,” he sighed, his soft tone making you close your eyes and rest your head on his shoulder. You stood like that for a while, peaceful silence almost causing you to fall asleep. When Jinyoung started tonguing at your neck, you couldn’t help but let out a low whine. His actions sped up, and when you were desperate enough, you pulled him along behind you to your bedroom. Your lips found his, softly pressing against each other. His hands roamed your shirt, squeezing your boobs he deepened the kiss. When you pulled away, you both threw your shirts off, his hand reaching around to undo your bra. That’s when you first noticed it.
One hand became two hands trying to remove the garment, and then with two hands came a pout. You held back a smile as you reached behind yourself and unclasped the bra in one go. His pout just deepened, and ears so red they could probably be seen from miles away.
“Jinyoung,” you whispered, placing a chaste kiss on his lips as you pushed him gently down on the bed, “are you a virgin?”
Jinyoung’s hands found your waist, and as he pulled you onto his lap, he buried his head into your chest. You ran your fingers through his hair as he gently shook his head no.
“I’m just inexperienced,” he whispered, his head refusing to come out from your chest. You continued to massage his head, a whine leaving his throat as you helped him relax. When he started to nuzzle into your boobs, you weren’t expecting him to lick your nipple, and then take it into his mouth to harden it. He repeated his actions on the other side, your breaths hitching every so often as he sucked and bit. When he finally looked up and met your eyes, you almost squealed at how cute he was. His nose and cheeks were flushed a deep red, and his eyes were watery.
“Oh, baby boy,” you whispered as his pout deepened a low whine leaving his lips at the nickname, “What’s wrong?”
“-m ard,” he mumbled, hiding into your chest again. You just cooed at him, running your hands through his hair again.
“But baby, I have barely even touched you,” you said, “Do you want me to help you?”
You just tsked when Jinyoung nodded into your chest, speaking a little louder than before, “Use your words, baby boy.”
Jinyoung looked up at you, his lip trembling at your harsh tone. You caressed his cheek to soothe him, and that's when he said, “will you- will you please touch me?”
That was it, you were done for. You normally considered yourself to be a more sub leaning switch, but boy was this subby little baby making you go crazy. You pressed your lips onto him, reaching your hand down and pressing on his bulge. Jinyoung almost didn’t let go of you as you climbed off of his lap, but one glance at him had him looking down and loosening his arms from around your waist.
When you undid the button of his pants and allowed you to pull them down his legs you praised him. His pretty cock bobbing at your words.
“Do you like being complimented baby boy?”
Jinyoung nodded again, letting out a whimper as you slapped the inside of his thigh, “Yes, I do mommy.”
If you thought you were a goner before, you didn’t know what to think now. It was clear Jinyoung was going deeper into subspace, and holy shit you didn’t know how much you liked being called mommy.
“You’re such a good little boy, Jinyoungie,” you smiled, pressing a kiss to the tip of his cock, “and you have such a pretty cock.”
His whines at your teasing only intensified as you complimented him, “Look how big it is, baby,” you smirked, wrapping a hand around his cock and tugging once,” but you don’t even know what to do with a cock like this, do you baby?”
“N-, no mommy,” he hiccupped as you sank your mouth all the way down his length.
“It’s ok, love,” you smiled up at him, “Mommy will take care of you.”
His sniffles were just so cute, you couldn’t stand to tease him anymore. You slipped your skirt off, placing both of your hands on Jinyoung’s cheeks.
“Are you sure about this?” you asked, running your thumbs gently over his cheeks as he nodded, “Words, Jinyoung.”
“Yeah, god yeah, please,” he whined, gulping as you straddled him, sinking down until you had all of his length inside of you.
“You tell me if you wanna stop, ok baby?”
“Yes,” Jinyoung whined, letting out a broken moan as you began to ride him. His fingers gripped your hips, pretty moan after pretty moan leaving his mouth as you chased your high. You were worked up, he had worked you up. He was just so good, and once you set eyes on his cock you knew you wanted to feel him in you. Now, you could maneuver yourself so that he was hitting you in all of the right places. And your sweet little love was so so close, you could tell. His hips were almost running from you, sinking as far as he could into the bed to try to take some of the pleasure away. His moans gave him away as he clung to you.
“Mo-mommy, need to, need to come,” he whimpered, tears pricking his eyes at your silence. You kissed his nose and picked up your pace.
“You can come, little love,” you moaned, your heat clenching around him. He muttered a string of thank-yous, as you felt his cock twitching inside of you. You just kissed him, not wanting to hear his overstimulated moans as you kept riding him. But his mouth broke away, scrunched face as he moaned.
“M, mommy,” he whined, face still red and scrunched. You tried to calm him, slowing your hips to try to relieve some of the overstimulation, but that's when you felt it. His cock twitching in you again. You let out a groan and came with him. Your eyes rolling back into your head as you clenched around him. You relaxed around him, your hands finding his cheeks as you took a deep breath. You quickly looked up when you felt the wetness on his cheeks.
“What’s wrong love?”
“I was bad,” he sniffed, “Youngie came without permission.”
“You weren’t bad baby,” You smiled, pressing several kisses all over his face until he laughed, “you were the best boy.”
You let him pull you down across the bed, snuggling into your side and nuzzling into your neck. You fell asleep, and so did he soon after, both of you worn out.
You and Jinyoung spent the entire weekend together, laughing, making out and growing his experience. When you arrived at school on Monday, you were glowing. Your kids begged you to tell them if you went on that date, but you refused. At least until it was time for them to start their exam. In fact, you promised to tell them what happened (minus some details of course) if, and only if, they passed their exams.
Not a single person in your class failed.

Alphabetti Spaghetti (3/3)
Please believe. - P
How many pages did the last book you read have? I don’t even remember the last time I opened it; but if I have to guess, it’s probably anywhere between 600–800 pages.
What do you like on your pancakes? Soaked in butter, with peanut butter and maple syrup on the side. My dad will also sometimes mix bacon into the batter, and it always turns out delicious.
Do you like small parties or large parties more? I love going to any kind of party, but I like large ones just a little bit more just because it’s easier to blend in and go unnoticed for the most part. I usually feel pressured at smaller parties.
What was the last exam you passed in? I have no idea. Maybe a history exam? I remember taking a Rizal exam right before the pandemic started and I never got the results for that since classes were canceled shortly after. I’ll never know if I actually passed that test haha.
Do you think paw prints are cute? Yesssssss.
How much would you pay a neighbour to do your lawn? We have someone in the village who does that, and my mom usually gives him a tip of I would guess around ₱100.
Ordinary pens, scented pens, gel pens or felt tip pens? Ordinary. The other ones write horribly.
Are you a people person? I’ve grown to be one over the years. I do like my alone time, but I have the most fun with a person or two or ten around me.
Do you put pepper on your scrambled eggs? No. I never use pepper myself, actually.
Who, except yourself, has the nicest pet? Angela’s, at least one of her dogs are. Hailey is super nice and she doesn’t really care what you do with her hahahaha.
What's your favourite piece of clothing? Right now, probably my IVP sneakers since they’re my newest purchase. Other than that, my mom jeans are always super reliable.
What place have you gone to that you never would again? Police stations that I had to visit to cover stories for my journalism classes. Maybe it’s other people’s passion – and I thought it was mine at one point, too – but once I found myself in places like that I slowly realized that I didn’t have the fire for journalism I once thought I had.
What do others seem to have plenty of and you have little or none? Nice photos of themselves. I’m very camera shy.
Is pink a nice colour, an okay colour or icky? I personally love pink, so.
Give me a description of a great film plotline? ...I don’t feel like it :(( I also haven’t watched/rewatched any films in a while, so my memory is a bit rusty.
What do you have in your pockets? Nothing I’m wearing right now has pockets.
Do you listen to podcasts? Not really. I’m part of the minority that finds podcasts a little boring.
Have you ever played Poker? I’d guess I’ve tried playing it one or two times, but I’ve never understood the rules and I probably just did some random moves when I did try it.
Do you have a pond in your garden? No.
How about a swimming pool? We don’t.
Do you like Poptarts? I loooooove Pop Tarts and I wish we had more flavors here :( and that they weren’t so expensive.
Do you write notes on post-it notes? Sometimes; but lately I’ve mostly just been making to-do lists on my laptop. Writing takes too much time considering how hectic my job is.
Quiet darling, shh. - Q
Do you ever use the word quaint? Very rarely. I never really get into situations where that word would be most fitting to use.
Do you know what quantum physics is? I know of the term from watching The Big Bang Theory, but I don’t know what it refers to.
Are you a quiet or loud person? Depends on the people I’m with, my general mood, and my level of comfort.
Do you usually ask a lot of questions? I never do. I feel like that’s a weakness of mine, too. My mind never wanders too far, and I’m only able to recognize good questions when someone else raises them.
What's your favourite quote from a film? “Rome. By all means, Rome.”
Favourite quote from a song? “Now I’m told this is life, and pain is just a simple compromise so we can get what we want out of it.”
Are you quick witted? In what aspect? Not always; but yeah, I guess it comes out sometimes. I’m pretty good at witty or funny comebacks, especially with people I’m comfortable with.
Do you find the word queer offensive? Er, no?
Roses are Red and Romance is dead. - R
Do you listen to the radio often? I used to, since I once drove to school everyday and I liked having the radio on - especially in the morning, since there was a morning program I was hooked to. But now that I’m at home 24/7, I don’t really tune in anymore; I don’t even have the slightest clue what songs are trending rn.
Do you prefer rain or snow? We only get rain, so.
Have you ever ran into someone and injured you or them due to it? Fortunately no, for both circumstances.
Do you listen to rap music? K-Pop groups always have their own rap sub-unit, so yeah I’ve definitely been more exposed to rap these days.
Do you find pet rats gross or nice? Why? I guess it’s cute when they’re pets, since I’m sure they’re harmless. Not so much when they’re big black filthy rats that are house pests and probably carrying a lot of diseases.
Have you ever been to a rave? No. I’d love to experience it once.
Are you somewhat of a rebel? Nah.
How about reckless? Now this hits the spot more, especially when it comes to money lol
Do you prefer red, black or purple dresses? Black, then red, then purple. I don’t wear a lot of the latter to begin with.
Do you know how to reload a gun? I don’t; I’ve never even held a real gun before.
Do you remember your first best friends Mum's name? I don’t think I ever met her mom. Our friendship was super short-lived and didn’t go beyond preschool.
Do you have a good or a bad reputation? Idk, you’d have to ask other people for this I think.
What song do you request most often on the radio? I’ve never requested a song to radio stations.
Do you prefer rice or tofu? I need rice for literally every meal, otherwise it won’t feel filling. I like tofu too, but I only have it occasionally when it comes with some dishes.
Have you ever held a rifle? Nope.
Do you know a Robert? What's he like? I have an uncle-in-law named Robert. He’s very nice, and super intelligent; he’s from New Zealand but currently lives with my aunt and their family in Vietnam. Since he’s from a different country, he has lots of fun stories and different perspectives to share at family reunions, which makes me always want to sit at whichever table he’s at so that I can be part of interesting conversations.
Do you like rollercoasters? No.
Been to Rome, Italy? Nope.
Are Roses your favourite flower? They’re one of them.
So sweetheart, lets fan. - S
Do you feel safe in your neighbourhood? Yeah, I mean that’s kind of the whole point in living in a gated village. I’d be pretty alarmed if I ever hear of a crime happening here.
Whose the Patron Saint of your Country? St. Lorenzo Ruiz. I actually didn’t know that for a fact, so thanks for the Google search and impromptu lesson!
Do you put salt on your fries? Yessssssss, I need my fries to be very salty. Unless it was already seasoned with something else, I’d find it boring if it wasn’t salty enough.
Do you think we are all born the same? In some ways, yes; in some ways, no. I know everyone is born as humans worthy of love and respect, but when it comes to factors like privilege then that’s when circumstances start to get all different.
When did you stop believing in Santa? I never bought it. I used to always get frustrated that I was never allowed to meet Santa (none of my relatives ever played as him), and that he apparently just likes to leave gifts at midnight. Not seeing a Santa made me doubt and eventually I just kinda stopped buying it by the time I was like 5.
Do you think the name Sarah is pretty? Erm, it’s fine but I find it a little common.
Is Saturday your favourite day of the week? Fridays are, but Saturdays are a very close second.
Have you ever watched Saved By The Bell? Opinions? Nope.
What about the Saw films? Opinion? I haven’t, but I know they’re my eldest cousin’s favorite so it must be a good series.
Are you easily scared? In certain ways. I hate jumpscares for one, and I easily get offended by them.
What's your secondary language, if any? English.
Name all the things you can see from where you're sitting? The entirety of my bedroom.
What's the last sentence you spoke out loud? “JAY KAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY”
Have you changed your default settings on your computer? Some of them just to change some aspects of the appearance, but I didn’t do a complete overhaul.
What year did you turn seven in? 2005.
How important is sex in a relationship how important is sex from 1-10? For me, probably like a 3 or 4.
What is your favourite shade of blue? Sky or royal.
Shade of Purple? BTS purple, I guess? Hahaha.
Favourite shape? I don’t have one.
Do you know a girl called Sharon? Nope.
How about Shari? Nope.
Do you shave your arms, legs, pubic hair and/or somewhere else? I shave, but not all of these areas.
When was the last time you were sick? May 2020 was the last time I felt like death.
What's the worst side effects you've had due to a medication? I’ve never gone through side effects from a medication.
What does your signature look like? A very lazy scribble of the first and last letters of my whole name.
Do you like silk? What do you own that is silk? It’s okay, but I never actively search for it. I have one set of silk pajamas but that’s it.
Do you sip or drink hot drinks fast? As much as possible I don’t like getting in contact with hot beverages. I wait for them to cool down considerably before I take my first sip.
How about with alcohol? Sure, I like to take them fast so that I don’t feel the nasty burn on my tongue.
Do you have sisters? How many, what ages and what're they called? Nina is turning 21 this year.
Is your grandmother older than sixty five? Both of them are, yeah.
Do you slam doors often? Nope.
Have you ever slapped someone in the face? For what reason? Yes. Because he had slapped me first. I was in so much shock that my first and only instinct was to hit back.
Do you snack a lot or just eat big meals? I like letting myself go hungry then reward myself with a very generous serving to eat in one go.
Do you smile more often, or frown? Smile.
Are you wearing socks? No, I haven’t worn any in a while.
Do you say sorry too often? Yes.
What's a sound that always soothes you? This. I always play it before turning in, or when I need to calm down.
Do you carry a lot of spare change? How much is on you now? Not so much anymore, since I’ve been increasingly going cashless.
Do you own a swimsuit of the Speedo brand? I don’t think so.
Do you like sunflowers? They have a personal meaning to me, so yes. It’s not my ultra favorite, though.

The Surprise
To say you're having a busy week would be an understatement. Apart from photoshoots and other scheduled interviews, you've been working tirelessly with the SNL cast and writers about the sketches you're going to be performing, which will hopefully be well received by the audience and everyone will have a good time. But besides all that, something you've really been looking forward to is happening today.
Today you're going to record the promos with BTS, which also means you're meeting them for the first time. You know they landed in New York a couple days ago and from what you've been told they've been rehearsing almost nonstop— but you haven't had a chance to see them in person.
Until now, that is.
When you arrived at the studio you were quickly briefed on how the shoot was going to go; after they're done with their photos, you'll be doing the promos with Cecily and BTS will accompany you. You were ushered to your dressing room shortly after, but on the way there you managed to get someone from the SNL crew to tell you that they hadn't arrived to the building yet.
To kill time while you get your makeup done after getting dressed, you put your earphones on and quickly search "How to say hello in Korean" on Youtube.
"Ann-yang— fuck, that's not right—" You curse, sighing before going back a few seconds on the video. The makeup artist snickers at you, and you smile at her. "Annyeong— a-nnyeong— annyeonghaseyo—" You go back again and listen to the woman in the video one more time. "Annyeonghaseyo— I think that's right. Annyeonghaseyo, annyeong-haseyo."  You repeat, testing the word on your tongue. "Annyeonghaseyo. Yeah I think I got it." You say to yourself, closing the video. "Annyeonghaseyo!" You repeat one last time, saying it to your reflection in the mirror. "Yep, I got it."
"Okay, you're done." Your makeup artist says, pulling back and checking her work. "I'll see you before the shoot to see if there's something I need to fix." You give her a thumbs up as she gathers her things.
"Thank you!"
As she leaves, you turn around to check yourself in the mirror. At first glance it doesn't seem like she did a lot, but her instructions were to give you a more natural, casual look, and she did a very good job.
"Over here." You hear someone say behind you, and when you turn around you're surprised to find BTS walk into the room, waving at you.
"Annyeonghaseyo!"  You quickly greet them, getting up from your chair and walking up to them with a bright, friendly grin.

Jungkook barely slept the previous night. Part of it can easily be attributed to jet lag, but another reason for it was the fact that today they're going to meet you.
Finally.
Yesterday they were told that they needed to shoot the photos that they'll use before their performances and then the promos with you, and from that moment on Jungkook was barely able to think about anything else. Jimin is also very excited, but Jungkook can tell he's not nearly as nervous as he is. He didn't let it affect his mindset during rehearsals, but the moment they got a break or had to stop, he was suddenly reminded that he was going to meet you in only hours and he got nervous all over again.
"My hands are shaking."  He says as they ride the elevator to the SNL studio floor, looking down at his trembling fingers.
"Jungkook-ah—" Hoseok says in a soothing voice, grabbing Jungkook's hands with his to stop them from shaking. "It's gonna be okay."  Jungkook smiles and nods, even if it does nothing to ease his nerves. He's certain you're going to be nice to them, but he's a bit worried he'll get too flustered and you'll think he's weird.
The elevator door opens and they are greeted by their staff and someone from SNL's as well, who quickly starts explaining them where they need to go and what they will be doing. Namjoon makes sure to ask whatever questions they all had, and soon enough they are getting ready in their dressing room.
"What's Namjoon doing?"  Jin asks as he puts his jacket on, looking at him speak with someone from the SNL crew.
"I don't know, they called him over."  Yoongi replies with a shrug, looking at himself in the mirror to see if his clothes fit like they're supposed to.
"Namjoon-hyung, what did they want?"  Taehyung asks when Namjoon returns sporting a suspiciously satisfied smile.
"Jungkook, Jimin, come here as well." Up until this point, the two had been watching a video of their rehearsal sitting on a couch together, oblivious to what was happening around them.
"What is it, Hyung?"  Jimin asks, with Jungkook right behind him.
"So, someone from the SNL staff just told me that in two minutes we're going to take our pictures—"  The rest just stare at him, because they all knew that already. It's not news. "—and after that they said we're going to go meet [Y/N] in her dressing room, before we shoot the promos."
"In her dressing room?" Jin asks, eyebrows raised in surprise. "Are you guys coming, too?"  He asks their staff, but they shake their heads.
"We're not filming it cause we haven't asked her if she's okay with it."  Namjoon clarifies, and the rest nod in understanding. He turns to Jungkook and Jimin, who are just standing there looking shocked, albeit in very different ways.
Jimin is grinning widely looking like Christmas came early, but Jungkook is standing there looking like a little kid who is about to tell his parents he just threw up.
"What's wrong?"  Hoseok asks, resting his hand on Jungkook's shoulder.
"I can't do it."  He says suddenly, shaking his head. "I'm too nervous. You should go without me."
"What?!"  Jimin protests, turning around to look at him with his eyes wide. "You've been waiting for this for months, you have to come!"
"What if I embarrass myself in front of her and she thinks I'm weird?"
"Jungkook-ah, if you embarrass yourself in front of her, I'll embarrass myself in front of her even more!" Hoseok says, lifting his fist up resolutely. "She'll forget about anything you did."  Jungkook genuinely smiles at that and nods, finally agreeing. Hoseok wraps his arm around his shoulder comfortingly. "You'll be just fine."
"Guys, it's time to go." Someone from the SNL staff says from the door. "Follow me."
"It will be okay."  Namjoon tells Jungkook before they walk out, rubbing his arms in a soothing manner. "Don't worry about it."
Tumblr media
The shoot ends up being incredibly fun, and they know their fans are absolutely going to love how the pictures turned out. There are some that ended up looking incredibly goofy, and they hope those are pictures they end up using during the episode. But as they see the same staff member who talked to Namjoon earlier come in searching for them, they all know what's coming next.
"Hey guys, if you can follow me, please." She says, walking ahead and looking back from time to time to make sure they're all behind her. "Her dressing room is this way. They should be done with her makeup by now."
"Hoseok-ah, can you come here a second?" Namjoon asks, pulling him from the middle of their line into the front with him. "I need to ask a favor."  He whispers, and Hoseok nods. "When we greet her, I'm gonna give her a hug. I need you to come right after me and give her a hug as well, so that she knows it's okay to do that. That way, Jungkook will get a hug too."
"Ah, that's a good idea."  He says, nodding. "Okay."
"It's just around the corner." The staff woman says, and soon enough she's standing next to an open door pointing them inside. "Over here."
Namjoon and Hoseok go in first, with Jimin, Yoongi, Jin, Taehyung and finally Jungkook right behind them.
You stand up as soon as they enter, smiling widely at them.
"Annyeonghaseyo!"  You say, waving both hands. The greeting catches them by surprise, because none of them had expected you'd say hello in Korean, and perfectly pronounced as well.
A chorus of annyeonghaseyo and annyeong is their response, and Namjoon is quick to walk up to you and give you a hug you reciprocate immediately.
"I didn't know you spoke Korean." He jokes, and you grimace and shake your head.
"That's because I don't." You say with a laugh, and Hoseok moves in to hug you as well. "I wish I did, but hello is as far as I got."
Yoongi, Jin and Taehyung hug you after them, and Jimin is next.
"That was a very good hello." He says, smiling brightly at you before giving you a hug as well.
"Thank you, Jimin." You say, and he is caught by surprise at the sound of his name. It seems that it shows on his face, because you laugh when you pull away. "What, you thought I wouldn't know your names?" You move onto the only person left, and Namjoon and Hoseok share a look with each other. You might not realize because you don't know him, but Jungkook is clearly feeling completely shy at the moment. "Jungkook!" You say, opening your arms and pulling him into a hug as well.
He hugs you back immediately, and maybe for an outsider it would look like a normal hug, but to Jungkook is much more than that. The first thing he noticed when you started greeting them was how warm and kind your smile looked, and how much nicer your voice sounds in person, even if he knows people would tell him it sounds just like in the movies. It doesn't— it's only slightly different to the voice you use when you act, but he can tell. The sound of his own name coming out of your lips made his heartbeat speed up, and the moment you wrapped your arms around him he was immediately enveloped by two things: warmth and the most comforting smell he's ever experienced.
You pull away sooner than he would've liked— if it was for him he would've kept hugging you for 10 minutes— and he feels like if he tries to speak right now there is not a chance even a single word will come out of his mouth.
"I'm not gonna lie, we didn't think you'd know our names." Namjoon says, giving you a guilty smile. You laugh and Jungkook almost gasps, because you're still standing next to him and hearing you laugh in person is completely different than seeing it on a screen.
"Nice to know you think so highly of me!" You joke. "Of course I know your names, guys. Jungkook, Jimin, V, Jin, Suga, J-Hope and Namjoon." You point at each one of them as you say their names. "I can also do the chant your fans make, if you want me to."
"No, no, that's okay." Namjoon says, shaking his head with a smile. He knows from Jungkook that you're very nice and good-natured, but experiencing it is something else. No wonder he likes you so much.
"Anyway, let's not just stand here, come, sit down." You say, pointing at the couches and sitting chairs. "Are you guys nervous about Saturday?" You say, sitting down with Jimin on your right and Namjoon on your left while the others find spots for themselves. Namjoon quickly translates what you said.
"Yes, uh... excited, but nervous." Taehyung says and you nod.
"Yeah, I remember when I first hosted SNL a few years ago, I was so nervous I actually threw up like, half an hour before we started."
"No, are you serious?" Namjoon says, completely disbelieving, before translating for the others what you just said. Hoseok gasps, covering his mouth with his hand.
"I am! I don't know how familiar you guys are in Korea with SNL, but here everyone knows the show. I grew up watching Tina Fey, Amy Poheler, Maya Rudolph, Kristen Wiig, Seth Meyers, Jimmy Fallon— so many people who then went on to have this successful careers and who everyone here knows— and there I was, throwing up half an hour before the show started. It was intense. I actually thought I wasn't gonna make it, I'd ruin the episode and I'd be blacklisted from all of Hollywood." The way you're telling the story definitely makes it sound way funnier than they're sure it was for you at the moment, and they can't help but laugh when Namjoon translates for them.
"But you did a good job." Jungkook says suddenly, and you turn your attention to him. You give him a slightly surprised smile.
"You've seen the episode?" You ask, and it's only then that Jungkook realizes what he just did.
Mentioning a movie you've done would've been okay, because it's much more easy to find and most of them have been shown in Korea anyway, but admitting he watched your SNL episode is admitting he actively went and looked for it, which is almost as bad as saying something he heard you say in an interview.
Before he can't even think of an answer, Namjoon speaks.
"Ah—" He says, shaking his head. "Jungkook here... he's a big fan of you." Jungkook smiles but immediately blushes, looking down at his hands.
"No way, really?" You say, and Jungkook looks up to see if it bothered you that Namjoon said that, but instead he just finds everyone nodding and you grinning at him. "Then what are you doing sitting so far away from me?!" You say suddenly, shocking everyone, including himself. Namjoon immediately stands up.
"Yes, Jungkook-ah, come sit here."  He says, pointing at the now empty seat next to you.
Even though Jungkook feels like he might pass out from embarrassment, he does as told and walks up to sit next to you— while his heart beats so fast he worries it might pop out of his chest at any point.
"Come on." You say, patting the empty spot on the couch.
"He's shy." Namjoon says with a smile, sitting where Jungkook was a moment ago.
"Jimin is also a fan." Jungkook says once he sits down, to divert some of the attention away from him. It works, because you immediately turn to your right.
"Are you serious?" You ask, grinning from ear to ear. Jimin blushes instantly under your gaze, but he smiles and nods anyway.
"Yes."
"You guysssss!" You say, falling back into the couch and grabbing your chest dramatically. "That's so sweet!" They all laugh, even Jungkook and Jimin who are currently feeling an intense mixture of shyness and embarrassment. "I want to say I'm your fan too, but I feel like that would be disrespectful to your actual fans. They're really passionate." You sit back up. "I can say that I've watched a lot of your videos, though."
"Not the oldest ones, right?" Namjoon says immediately, worrying you've watched videos from their debut days. You raise your eyebrows in surprise.
"I haven't watched anything you should be embarrassed about so, probably not?" You laugh. "That was an intense reaction." Namjoon blushes and translates your exchange to the others, who immediately groan in embarrassment.
"Hyung, why did you have to mention that?" Jimin says, covering his face with his hands.
"Sorry, they're just a bit embarrassing." You give him an almost guilty smile. "You will look for them now, won't you?"
"I feel like I have to." You say, laughing.
"That's okay, it's my own fault." He says, shaking his head. "What's your favorite video, from the ones you watched?"
"Blood, Sweat and Tears." You say, almost instantly. "It's very... artistic. I love it." You say, smiling. "And I love your song Idol— the version with Nicki Minaj is so good. To be honest, all your videos are good. You guys are so talented." You wait for Namjoon to translate, and they all thank you once he's done.
"What's your favorite movie of mine that you've watched?" You suddenly ask, looking at Jimin and then at Jungkook. Namjoon translates, even though he's pretty sure they understood what you asked.
"Ah, the... Netflix movie is my favorite." Jungkook says, looking at you for a moment before lowering his gaze again. He knows the name, but it's a bit long and he was worried he'd mess up the pronunciation.
"Mine, too." Jimin says, nodding in agreement.
"Aww, the one I did with Timotheé?"
"Yeah, we all watched that one together, actually." Namjoon says, and you go quiet for a moment, seemingly thinking about something.
"Huh." You say, shrugging your shoulders. "Anyway, that is one of my favorites as well, I'm glad you guys liked it, too." You say, bumping shoulders with Jimin and Jungkook.
Before they can say anything else, the same woman who brought them here walks into the room.
"Guys, we're ready to shoot the promos." She says, and you all stand up.
"Duty calls." You say, walking back to the chair and grabbing your jacket before putting it on. "Come on, let's shoot some promos." You say, smiling at them before walking out of the room.
Before following you, they are share looks with each other but more specifically, they look at Jungkook, who looks like he can't believe what just happened truly happened. Namjoon opens his mouth to ask him how he feels, but Jungkook beats him to it.
"That was... amazing."

Thank you so much for reading, everyone! The next chapter is the final chapter of the first part of this story.

Sub-Zero
I was only three when my older brother Eddie died. He had a brain tumor; he died a couple weeks after my birthday and a couple weeks before his.
He did just as he told our mom when he said, “I stay four.”
On June 27th, my big brother was gone at age four.
***
My parents tried to give me a happy life. They gave me privileges that some kids are not as lucky enough to have (such as a vacation almost every year). Despite what the therapist had said when the event happened, I was damaged and it was only a matter of time before it would all show in forms that got glossed over repeatedly.
I didn’t just lose my brother, I lost my best friend, my protector, my guide… I lost my Eddie.
Although I can now say it and not think much of it, I still cry at the thought I was cheated out of a big brother to teach me the ropes and take my hand when I was scared.
Senior year of high school was the hardest. I was graduating (on that day fifteen years later) and my brother did not even make it to kindergarten, which he was so excited for because he’d get to ride a bus; His favorite thing in life besides me, our family, Scooby-Doo, and Donald Duck was anything with an engine.
I outlived my brother who knew what he wanted (it could’ve changed in time, but it would still involve cars and trucks), and I had panicked. I believed people when they told me I would be a great English teacher. I wanted to be a writer, but everyone kept saying I am a teacher at heart. There was just a couple teeny tiny (major) problems:  I hate school (and still do), I am very selective with what I choose to read, and I don’t talk unless I want to or need to.
Kudos to those who teach, but I’d rather not go back. School for me was where I had my individuality constantly beaten out of me, I was bullied by other students for who I was, have been accused and associated with things I am not, and my mental health got worse.
However, being non-confrontational, I just nodded my head and let myself be pushed to a major I did not want and watched as I slowly went downhill, and crossed paths with someone a little bit before graduation who is just like me… sort of.
I was looking for some new games to play that are like Street Fighter II. While watching a Top Ten Best Fighting Games of All Time video on YouTube, the channel (Watchmojo) ranked a video game called Mortal Kombat (2011) at number two, right next to Street Fighter II which placed number one. When I saw the game on clearance at Walmart, I put it in the cart with the plan to take over the unused Xbox 360 in the living room bought by my parents’ for the Kinect feature. My mom did not care anymore, she was just grateful that the expensive gaming system collecting dust under the TV stand was finally being used.
I played through several kombatants (yes, with a ‘K’, most ‘C’ starting words are replaced with a ‘K’) in the Ladder Fights and Test Your Luck challenges for hours enjoying the blood and gruesome moves.
I oddly kept finding myself drawn to Sub-Zero, the blue ice assassin (don’t call them ninjas, they find it highly insulting). I didn’t know why though; I couldn’t figure out why I thought the man with ice powers was intriguing. Curious by nature, I did what I do with everything else I found fascinating, I dug for all the information I could find. It didn’t matter how useless and random, I wanted to know everything about the world of Mortal Kombat, and I now know a huge chunk of it.
Sub-Zero’s real name is Kuai Liang, and he was originally called Tundra. He is the younger brother of Bi-Han, the first Sub-Zero in the series, and Kuai Liang took the name Sub-Zero after his brother’s death to honor him. That was the only similarity I thought we had, but I was so wrong… I was so wrong.
Mortal Kombat is super violent. The two ice powered brothers are best known for a fatality where they rip the head and spine out of their enemy opponent, both parts still attached together like a twisted party trick (and this is also the main origin to the ERSP rating system in video games). I am not even strong enough to lift a twenty pound puppy without nearly dropping the stubborn Shepard Labrador mix back on the ground with a thump. Plus there’s the other stuff on the surface:  blonde Caucasian female with an olive shade of green eyes, a bubbly persona and pink girly appearance, versus a dark haired Chinese American male with icy blue eyes, a cold persona and super violent history.
“He is just a video game character, he is not real. You don’t need to care this much for this fictional character.”
I know that. Kuai Liang is not real, but his story is real to me.
Kuai Liang went through hell. Everything bad that could have happened, did happen to him. He lost his brother when Scorpion—the wraith of the NetherRealm (and the franchise’s fan favorite character)—killed him in retaliation for killing the whole Shirai Ryu clan, his kind-hearted wife, and innocent baby boy (spoiler alert, it wasn’t Bi-Han at all! Scorpion was tricked into killing an innocent man!). Wanting to avenge his brother’s death, and avoid the Lin Kuei’s new cyber-initiative their Grandmaster was keen on, Kuai Liang and his best friend, Smoke, ran away to find the answers to what happened to Bi-Han. Right when our new Sub-Zero nearly has his revenge and is to kill Scorpion, he is stopped and surrounded by members of his former clan who have been converted from human to cyborg; despite the robotic outsides and still human insides, they are brainwashed to obey like full-fledged robots. He is taken back to the clan and suffers the same fate of being turned into a cyborg and is renamed LK-520, then sent after Smoke who managed to get away. Lucky for both of them, cyber-Sub-Zero is knocked unconscious and Smoke gets help from his new allies to reset Kuai Liang, but although he gets his control back, he is now stuck as a mashup of man and machine. Until (in a rushed scene of the game) he is killed and his soul is sent to the Netherrealm where he is rebuilt from what is left of his remaining bits of human organs and bone inside his robotic shell. Although human again, he is now under the mind control of the sorcerer, Quan Chi (spoiler alert! He’s the real person behind Scorpion’s suffering!), and is now working alongside both the man who framed his brother and the man who murdered his brother, along with several of his new allies that died as well. In the tenth game, he is freed from Quan Chi’s control by being in the right place at the right time (and by also being a fan favorite character too).
That should be the end of it, but it’s not. This is right before I realized how perfectly Kuai Liang’s life parallels mine. This is before I read the comics.
Like I said, I get invested in stories to the point I want to find out everything I can. When I found all three volumes of the comic series on Amazon, I couldn’t resist and I bought all three.
When UPS came to deliver the package, I brought it straight to my room plopping the brown cardboard box on my bed, and cut the tape open with a pink mechanical pencil. I didn’t care for the other two books I bought (except enough to hide the one I bought for my little sister’s birthday in the closet) because there they were. Volumes one, two, and three were at the bottom of the box under giant green bags of air that are satisfying to stomp on and give unsuspecting siblings heart attacks, but that was unimportant in this moment. I took the three volume books out and spread them on my bed, and dived right into the unknown; into the rebuild of the Shirai Ryu, the second generation of klassic characters, and what happened to those who lived or were brought back like Sub-Zero.
Sub-Zero, at this point, was my favorite character. In volume two, however, there was a shift in my view of him. In that shift, he became my number one favorite character ever and sealed his place into that spot permanently.
Kuai Liang had become possessed by a cursed dagger in the previous volume, and it continued into volume two. Scorpion (he is a good guy now… sort of) and his apprentice, Takeda, go after him and get the dangerous dagger back, but the curse makes it hard for Scorpion to reason with Kuai Liang. Scorpion becomes frustrated and the two fight to what they believe to be the death, until Takeda manages to get the dagger away. Kuai Liang exhausts out all the remaining evil within him, and then is left standing there perplexed by why he is there and what is going on. It doesn’t matter to Scorpion though, he still beats the bewildered young Sub-Zero to a bloody pulp and leaves him to die.
Kuai Liang rethinks his life as he lays their bleeding out, so when Bo’ Rai Cho (ew, trust me on this one, just ew) comes to him to help him get back on his feet, he asks him, “you haven’t figured out what all these events mean? Why I’m here?”
Kuai Liang’s answer is, “I must commit hara kiri…”
There. There it is. Right there. That is the line that made me see I am more like Sub-Zero than I thought I was.
We lost our older brothers, we lost our individuality, we were beaten, we were bullied, we were brainwashed, we took orders, we went down wrong paths, we battled the world, we battled ourselves, and we took so much of a beaten that we laid in our own blood, sweat, and tears thinking “I must commit hara kiri…”
What is hara kiri? To simplify, it is suicide.
I remember putting the comic down on my stuff animal infested bed and staring at the lavender colored walls, looking at the big picture. Sub-Zero is a strong warrior with ice powers, and he hit rock bottom. He may be physically stronger than me, but he is just as broken and weak as me on the inside. He put up a shield, hiding behind his anger just like I hid behind my smile.
I picked up the comic again, and skipped frantically through the pages of volume three just to get to Kuai Liang and find the answers. What did he do and how did he survive to be in the next game?
It is complicated and complex, but the answer is different based on how you interpret his story. I obviously interpreted it well, because I am here. I am okay.

BNHA Rewatch: Episode 61 “Deku vs Kacchan Part 2″
 mysterylover123
O.T.P.
Tumblr media
This is gonna get kinda emotional.
Tumblr media
Deku is turning Kacchan’s fight proposal down. Dammit Deku! He’s being serious!
Tumblr media
Hoo boy that Kacchan face. No light in his eyes. That realization, just…just bleeding through…hoo boy.
Tumblr media
“If the way you admired him was correct, does that mean my way of thinking was wrong?” OMG ITS HAPPENING. HE’S REALIZING IT YA’LL.
Tumblr media
The flashbacks to bb Deku and Kacchan the feels.
Tumblr media
The white void, it’s just the two of them.
Tumblr media
That Deku line from the first episode. I’m transported right back, ya’ll. It’s that first love again, that same feeling I had when I first discovered this series all the way back in summer of last year.
Tumblr media
So Deku starts by thinking too hard about what’s going on and immediately gets blasted.
Tumblr media
“You think too much” hoo boy recently Mother’s Basement posted the analysis of this fight and pointed out that this is actually a flaw of Deku’s that he can learn to remedy by adopting some of Kacchan’s impulsiveness. Never has the phrase “you complete me” been more accurate.
Tumblr media
This freaking animation. It’s so beautiful. OMG.
Tumblr media
“Wait for me” OH MAN BB DEKU BB KACCHAN RUNNING I’M DEAD I AM DYING
Tumblr media
Cause he loves ya you dope.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Cute overload
Tumblr media
WHY WHY WHY hoo boy Kacchan flashbacks.
Tumblr media
Dat little trip oh man. He’s so bummed Deku doesn’t wanna fight and Deku’s little kick actually knocked him down.
Tumblr media
Ooh boy. Here it comes. The music went out
Tumblr media
Hold his freaking hand some day dammit
Tumblr media
Oh god I can’t watch this again I can’t I can’t
Tumblr media
“why is to you became strong…while I - “ OH GOD HERE IT COMES HERE IT COMES
Tumblr media
OH GOD. Slow clap. Okamoto and Chapin both deserve freaking awards for that performance. I mean holy shit. That voice acting. Those cracks. That hit. It makes me cry. I’m tearing up right now. Cause you see, this whole episode, it really rests on the ability of Bakugou’s Seiyuu and VA to pour everything into the performance. It’s not going to hit without both of them giving the vocal acting performance of a lifetime, and they both knocked it out of the freaking park. I actually love them both as his voice; I don’t have a preference for dub over sub, as regards their performances (not the dialogue translations), because both are incredible. Just. Slow clap. All of the awards, please.
Tumblr media
Look at how Deku looks at him. He’s the best. He just…he cares, so much. I mean, you’d admittedly have to be a pretty heartless bastard not to feel a little compassionate after hearing that speech but still. Kacchan’s so fucking lucky he has Deku and he doesn’t even know it. I want one too.
Tumblr media
He’s crying. Me too.
Tumblr media
Kacchan no Kacchan no nononononono
Tumblr media
Oh god Deku you beautiful darling
Tumblr media
“may not be any meaning” I DISAGREE THIS IS THE CULMINATION OF AN ENTIRE SERIES’ WORTH OF 100+ SYMBOLIC CHAPTERS DETAILING YOUR GROWTH FROM ANGRY YELLING RIVALS TO RIVALS WHO SUPPORT EACH OTHER DAMMIT IT’S EVERYTHING
Tumblr media
“May not be any meaning in winning or losing” lol are you just saying that in hindsight, Future Deku, cause you know you lost?
Tumblr media
Deku didn’t have to do this. He didn’t have to fight Kacchan or even let him know the truth.
Tumblr media
And note, he didn’t accept until he realized there was someone he could save. Someone who needs saving, to be helped. And this is how to help him.
Tumblr media
“The only one who can accept his feelings is me.” Ya’ll heard that haters? Say it a little louder for the people in the back, Deku. He’s got his heart.
Tumblr media
And look who’s smiling again, eyes lighting up again, the minute Deku started fighting back?
Tumblr media
“I couldn’t just completely reject him” Guess who also sad that about their fiery spiky blond spouse in BNHA? Kacchan’s dad in that omake about their marriage.
Tumblr media
Their relationship was wrong, but now it’s right.
Tumblr media
They never talked about how they really felt. Communication is the cornerstone of a healthy relationship, folks. Go on. Talk about your feels. Your real feelings.
Tumblr media
Of that was one hell of a hit.
Tumblr media
That speedy recovery though. Deku is fast.
Tumblr media
Oh wow Kacchan hit it too
Tumblr media
That smile. That smile OMG that is THE HOTTEST, by far, that Deku has ever looked in animation. And I don’t say that lightly.
Tumblr media
The translation here is either “I’ve” or “you’ve” gotten stronger. Both fit fine, which is the crazy part. Deku could be either saying that he himself has improved, or complimenting Bakugou, which does admittedly make more sense with what he was saying before, while ‘I’ve’ fits his cocky grin here better. I want him to flash a cocky grin more. It suits him. (BTW The English Dub compromises between the two and says’ we’ve both’.
Tumblr media
Katsuki assumes Deku has a plan. Always overestimating him.
Tumblr media
“That’s what I hate about you” OMG HE FINALLY TELLS HIM HOW HE FEELS. “I can never tell what you’re thinking” Because ya know he’s so good at understanding how everyone else thinks and feels.
Tumblr media
He’s always being mean to Deku. Deku has seen him at his very worst and yet still admires him. Maybe that’s scary, you know? Unconditional love is…kinda terrifying. But so, so beautiful. So he has to rationalize it that Deku is just looking down on him.
Tumblr media
Wow Deku sure took you long enough! He’s been saying that since day 1!
Tumblr media
“I wouldn’t want anything to do with them anymore” Deku there you go being empathetic and wonderful and perfect again. So understanding you darling, darling boy.
Tumblr media
“Along with the parts I hated about you, I saw all the amazing things you could do.” THAT’S ADMIRATION, FOLKS. ADMIRATION WITHOUT IDOLIZATION. Without hero-worship. Acknowledging the good and the bad. Seeing a person for who they really are and always, always seeing the best of them, even at their worst.
Tumblr media
“MUCH CLOSER TO ME THAN ALL MIGHT” Do you hear him guys? The closest person to him, closer than All Might. Closer than his freaking #1 favorite hero. The dub version has “actually in my life”, which isn’t a bad idea either. Both are true. That is so powerful. The person who
Tumblr media
Oh yeah and again how does Deku advance in power? How does he Go Beyond? KACCHAN. Full cowling, he found from him. OFA itself, he gained by saving him. And 8%.
Tumblr media
THAT SMILE. “I thought you were amazing.” He loves you you idiot.
Tumblr media
He kept chasing after him. He’ll never stop. He won’t just give up.
Tumblr media
He passed him. And Bakugo looks happy. Possibly because he wants Deku to do better. Possibly because it seems to be confirming his might-makes-right theory. Possibly both.
Tumblr media
ANIMATION-GASM AGAIN.
Tumblr media
AHAHAHAHAHAH ITS THAT CUT ITS THAT CUT DEKU’S DANCING FEET
Tumblr media
THE VOID AROUND THEM IT’S JUST YOU AND ME
Tumblr media
AND THE BLOCK OMG THIS IS BEAUTIFUL THIS IS THE MOST FREAKING BEAUTIFUL ANIMATION IVE EVER SEEN
Tumblr media
I’m serious. They brought out all the stops for this one. Of course. they knew, they had to know, that this was it. The animation, too, had to be perfect, or else it wasn’t gonna come across. And it is. Even better, in my opinion, than the animation in the stuff that came before it. Bones you are incredible.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Higher gear. Can anyone doubt that Katsuki is important to Deku’s journey after this?
Tumblr media
“This is gross, so I can’t say it”.. “I love you?” A reactor I follow actually said that after that line. That’s how intense they are.
Tumblr media
Anyway IMAGE OF VICTORY SPEECH. The Ep that keeps on giving.
Tumblr media
Kacchan is his image of victory. The other side of him. And he adopts some of his traits.
Tumblr media
“The part of you I hate and yet” How much love can you have for a person when you can somehow still admire the darkest, meanest parts of them? I don’t have a very perfect definition of love but I think that’s probably a big part of it.
Tumblr media
“my image of victory is of you” feels overload. Feels O.D.
Tumblr media
dat crane shot.
Tumblr media
My one disappointment with this episode is that they used the US of Smash OST instead of the Katsuki and Izuku OST for this scene. CMON GUYS. SERIOUSLY. THE KATSUKI AND IZUKU THEME HAD TO HAVE BEEN WRITTEN FOR THIS EPISODE AND THIS MOMENT ALONE. WHAT WERE YOU THINKING.
Tumblr media
“I have to beat you” the music the feels omg
Tumblr media
Hahaha psych. Kacchan wins anyway.
Tumblr media
WOOF. Like OK this is in the manga, this positioning, but it’s only for one frame. In the anime it goes on for like, an uncomfortably long time, with the slow panting, and the close-ups on the twisting body parts, and…combined with the fact that all of Deku’s admiring girlfriends in this arc have also landed on top of him in a similar pose, and you can’t blame me for the fact that my mind went into rather…R-rated territory.
Tumblr media
Kacchan’s disappointed. He didn’t want Deku to lose. He wanted Deku to win.
Tumblr media
That breaking  voice again. Don’t make me cry more dammit it’s too late.
Tumblr media
ALL MIGHT! I need an MST3K style All Might commentary-reaction to this entire damn thing. Seriously Hori. If you ever do an extra, please make one that’s a serious of All Might panel reacting to this whole thing. I NEED THAT.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Finishing each other’s sentences again.
Tumblr media
“It’s too late” IT’S NEVER TOO LATE YOU CYNICAL PORCUPINE.
Tumblr media
This is such a great moment of catharsis. Why Deku indeed? Well, you’re about to learn.
Tumblr media
THAT LINE DELIVERY AGAIN. That Broken voice. Both voice actors are too good.
Tumblr media
Deku’s legs though. WOWSA. A little detail I’ve noticed is that Kacchan has really buff, sexy arms and Deku has really buff, sexy legs. Because those are the body parts they use, while the reverse parts are more average.
Tumblr media
“I’m weak too” You’re making me weak I can’t take it. His voice his voice that fucking voice
Tumblr media
DEKU’S EYES. THEY’RE WELLING.
Tumblr media
HE’S GONNA CRY TOO.
Tumblr media
I also need an All Might in my life. I kinda blame myself all the time for things outside of my control. Deku AND Kacchan both blamed themselves for what happened. For All Might’s end. And neither one was really responsible, but they’re just like that. I relate, painfully, to both of them. I have a Deku side and a Bakugo side - deep down, I think we all do. Maybe one more than the other, but that’s what you get when you create two characters who initially act as kind of…distilled embodiments of two sides of the super-hero coin. One all super with no hero, the other all hero with no super - at least, at the beginning.
Tumblr media
THAT PIANO MUSIC IT SOUNDS FAMILIAR. IT’S ALL MIGHT’S FREAKING THEME YA’LL!
Tumblr media
Ooh boy All Might’s BKDK Speech! Both of their teachers ship them, you guys. All Might AND Aizawa both give big, beautiful speeches about their compatibility. In case you somehow missed it.
Tumblr media
Being fixated on victory like you, young Bakugou…and wanting to save those in trouble, like you, young Midoriya…both of those feelings are necessary.” “You guys are perfect for each other”, says the reactor I mentioned earlier (who isn’t even a hardcore BKDK shipper, mind you, it’s just that it’s that obvious.) And it’s true. You need both. They want each other, they need each other, because they have what the other lacks. They complete each other.
Tumblr media
This is the shonen rival equivalent of having the couple in a rom-com confess at the end of act one instead of act three. It upsets all the cliches and is all the better for it. Though even the most hardcore, dedicated anime rivals, I don’t think have ever gone this married-couple with the ‘mutual respect’ and ‘making each other stronger’ thing.
Tumblr media
WIN AND SAVE SAVE TO WIN. They look each other in the eyes.
Tumblr media
Oh god not that voice again I’m dying. Don’t make me cry again Kacchan.
Tumblr media
“Don’t lose.” SUPPORTIVE KACCHAN I LOVE SUPPORTIVE KACCHAN.
Tumblr media
“I’ll get stronger” CONFIDENT DEKU I LOVE CONFIDENT DEKU.
Tumblr media
“Of the students only you.” ONLY YOU.
Tumblr media
I put this moment really high on my list of Kacchan’s nicest moments, because it means a lot to me and to All Might. All Might acknowledges it. He’s a good secret keeper.
Tumblr media
Oh and Deku thanks him too in the English Dub, BTW. Not the manga but nice dub touch.
Tumblr media
OMG he’s such a Tsundere.
Tumblr media
He told him everything. HE KNOWS. The only one who knows. None of Deku’s other love interests do. And he has no interest in telling them.
Tumblr media
Kacchan asks why he told him. And I’ve got an answer, after obsessively rereading Chapter 11/rewatching Episode 8 a lot: BECAUSE HE LOVES YOU, YOU IDIOT. You were mad at him for lying about his quirk to you. You asked what was going on (loudly). You accused him of lying to you your whole life. So he told you the truth. Because he can lie to his mom, and he can lie to his friends and teachers and the entire freaking world. But he cannot lie to YOU. Because he loves you. Idiot baka.
Tumblr media
Oh and what’s that music playing there? Why does that sound familiar? YOU SAY RUN YOU SAY RUN YOU SAY RUN IT’S BACK. And you know? That’s I think because YSR symbolizes Deku’s heroic inspiration. The inspiration he both takes in and gives to others. And here, he’s both being inspired by Kacchan, and inspiring him at the same  time.
Tumblr media
Now Kacchan is doing the same. “Chosen one” He knows. Deku is better. He’s gotta surpass him.
Tumblr media
LOL THIS IS FUNNY. THEY SURE BICKER LIKE THEY’RE MARRIED.
Tumblr media
This shot composition. Get it? ALL MIGHT’S THE THING BETWEEN ‘EM.
Tumblr media
Oh and this. Yay some character development from Kacchan! Another nice moment of his in this ep. Three times!
Tumblr media
All Might Meta’s a bit about how Kacchan took responsibility and felt bad and does a Mom guilt trip on Dadzawa. They’re getting to be kinda married too now.
Tumblr media
“I went in pretty HARD”. OMG stop it you’re making me think bad things again. Just F*CK already.
Tumblr media
Their first act as a married couple is to clean the house together. OMG domestic fluff.
Tumblr media
And now for the best Post-credits scene ever.
Tumblr media
Wow Uraraka ships it so bad.
Tumblr media
Oh and some Todobaku bonus! Aw I guess Bakugou just turned down his 3some offer.
Tumblr media
Ooh awkward silence.
Tumblr media
YAY! Though they did kinda wreck it by having Deku bring it up instead of Kacchan
Tumblr media Tumblr media
NOW THEY’RE HEALTHY ENOUGH TO TALK TO EACH OTHER LIKE HUMAN BEINGS.
Tumblr media
Kacchan just praised me. Life is good.
Episode 61 is my favorite episode of my favorite show. I think it’s the best and will never be topped. Feels, left and right. It’s really just perfect. Funny, all 3 of the transcendent, best-of-the-best BNHA eps (This, 49 and 23) are basically just two characters fighting for 20 minutes. Nothing more or less. Yet they’re all so, so good. And this one is…I don’t even know how to put it into words. It’s a phenomenal tour-de-force of acting, visuals, animation, music, and of course, writing, all combining together to be just absolutely unsurpassable. Everything that makes this series good, boiled down to it’s essence. And yes, this did seal the deal for me with BKDK. I liked it before, but this made it a done deal. No going back. And I love it.
BEST GIRL OF THE EP: Uraraka for being so supportive.
RANKER: Top 5 Best Moments of This Episode: (it’s really more like a top 50)
5. Deku’s little Dance number
4. True Rivals at Last
3. True feelings at last
2. The Image of Victory Speech
1. “Why did I become...”
