no because i love this actually. started typing and then spaced out because i’m so enchanted by the possibility of pillow princess gene and service stone top lee. literally watching the movie right now about to get to the scene where they sleep together for the first time and i’m like vibrating to look at it through this lens. wow. maybe that IS my take. very beautiful work my friend.

in the past i’ve sort of gone for bottom lee for reasons connected to both daniel craig’s portrayal and information i’ve learned about burroughs i shant elaborate on so this answer isn’t a million words long. tldr total bottoms who benefit from appearing as a top. god that’s so reductive but you know what i mean. but truthfully i think gene topping and lee bottoming are both only true like in the fully realized/slightly more well-adjusted versions of themselves and i also think that the reasons we think these differing things are probably connected to the same character motivations and desires so all around i really love.
