i have to get better at confrontation especially for the smaller things
#wind howls#i dont like confrontation in general bc i either give in too fast or cant control my temper very well due to a lack of practice at being mad#but for the small things. where i am 100% reasonable and im asking for something so tiny i cant possibly back down. i just feel so bad yknow#how do i tell someone that compliments of the 'youre much better than i am' 'im not half as good as you' 'your stuff is great and mine isnt'#really isnt a compliment and just ends up in both of us feeling like dogshit. beloved have some faith in yourself and stop comparing-#yourself to me !!!! theres nothing more i hate on this earth than literally anyone comparing themselves to me !!!#especially if they use that as an excuse to put themselves down !!!! i hate it !!! cut it out this isnt a compliment it makes me sad !!!#especially when it comes to art is when it grates me the most. when all art is so personal and subjective you cant call yourself worse !!!#what a horrible way to think about your own creations. makes me sad
