im "rewatching" 11x01/02 (skipping thru to what i need) to finish this long ass fic and im just in PAIN (it's not a real liveblog bc i skipped thru but i had a lot of feelings)

Ziva's voice as Tony missed the video call ow

ig its really frustrating bc the kind of content that appeals most to me is the structure of mobile games but the uh... story content of them is like really unappealing

i think g/f i only like bc i knew it years ago, when they would actually give free characters w the story and tbh i enjoyed the stories better then as well. now it all feels like promoting the “fan favorite”/”strong” characters, as well as the hypocritical and elitist way the main characters act kinda makes any morals or supposed goodness go out the window for me. besides my faves rarely appear anymore anyways. but thats prolly good considering id spend a lot more if they did appear more often

go is a heckin wild ride from start to finish. i went into it pursuing a cute anime mozart and holy grail storyline bc i liked monty python and now its this shit. i couldnt care less abt most of the franchise and as years went by i really dont like a lot of the main/popular works in tangent to it (and even kinda strongly dislike a lot of popular elements of go itself). but on the flipside i like the gameplay of it (the combat system and character stats? ig as well) and have done it for 3 yrs/understand it well ish, and two of the loves of my life and a bunch of other really neat characters i care abt a lot are there so. i dont think its changing for me tbh. they cant disappoint me more then they already have (w the fuyuki related series/general bullshit/ending of part 1)

f-h is the ultimate love hate relationship tbh, and especially draining bc my views are the polar opposite of most of the vocal fandom, as what i like is generally hated and what i despise is adored. i hate book 3 and prefer book 2 (i was at least neutral towards it and it had some nice characters) as well as hating the book 1 main cast, actually like the fates royals and prefer them immensely over the kid units/book 1 characters, have no interest in supports and individual unit stats, and overall would rather just have my faves in the damn game than have them op/have alts/ect. for those reasons its quite frustrating, but there has been enjoyableness from it- getting more attached to other characters from games i have no interest in (esp 9/10, i like the characters enough in like a static state but really dislike the setting of the games). its kinda like go in that it takes from a pre existing cast, which i like, but unlike the infinite number of historical/legendary figures with no set design f-h takes from a finite pool of canon characters from past games but releases them at a snails pace, and considering they all already have personalities and designs its easier to say ahead of time which i will like the most.

unfortunately tho, f-h has taken this annoying “morally good uwu” route the same as g/f (and w the same hypocrisy, as they try to convince you that a guy who murdered the one person who trusted him couldnt help it and did nothing wrong) and ties nearly all characters to the story which has become awful, so its really testing my patience.

like i said tho f-h is technically enjoyable without consuming said things, but because of the pressure to do so and general slow pace of it + frustrations at no one to relate to regarding it its really pushing it. i hope the summer block will be better tho, considering its 2 non story chapters/possibly characters i like
