coming out here to talk about something really quick. if someone disregards a part of your rules, it's most likely not personal. this includes DNIs !

I had a panic this past week where I was going through my mutuals rules looking at DNIs because I had followed someone whose name was familiar, and I didn't know if it was because it was in a DNI or someone had mentioned them or I followed them before or something else. I didn't find their name, but I just realized... I follow over a 100 blogs. I spent 30-40 minutes trying to figure out if this person was in any DNIs. that's kind of crazy, right ? and kinda... unreasonable ?

similarly, if you have a DNI that says you don't interact with characters / fcs from a certain thing... I most likely don't know what that thing is. I don't know what my fcs are in, swear to god. if I really like an fc I may watch something they're in, but otherwise I have no idea and I don't remember what shows / movies I get icons from.

in general, my memory is shit. in general, I'm not busy but I get distracted really easily. and, in general, I'm pretty sure most if not all of the rpc is in the same boat. that being said... guys, I have a color coded list I refer to regarding my mutuals, just so I can keep track of folks. why ? because I'm forgetful. and I've been embarrassed to talk about it because I was like... this is kinda weird. but it's also like, now, I realize it's super extra ?? so like, do I need to start doing that with folks and their DNIs and rules so I make sure I don't break them ? that's crazy, right ?

I'm just saying. please don't take it personally if I break a rule or disregard a DNI. it was not intentional, it was not done with the express intent of making you uncomfortable. I'm doing my best, everyone is. please let me know. but also recognize that some information just naturally isn't going to be retained in an environment where we are interacting with dozens of blogs a day.

on one hand, I want to be like, yeah we should definitely keep track of our mutuals and their rules, that's the decent thing to do. on the other, it's like, I'm living my life and then come here and have 50+ blogs on my dash and it just doesn't seem feasible to do that for everyone I follow ? idk, what are your thoughts ?

im confident enough to post FFAK, which has anal prolapse, but i dont post the true drama....... my opinions about manga. *dramatic music* sometimes i kinda want to do some reviews.. its mostly me complaining.. it makes me sound so bitter like "do you like anything kosmic!" and..yes ! i do!!! okay!! i like a lot of things. once in a while, i dip my toes into a popular series to try to see if we are a good fit. Series like: Beastars, Dorohedoro, Dungeon meshi,ect.. and i kind. well. I dont like any of them LMAO. I mean, Ok, i actually really was into Beastars for a time, but after the fight with the bear guy (its been a few years sorry) and that story arc concluded.. it just spiraled to laughable levels and did not recover. I was genuinely laughing at it at times bc it kind of felt like a desperate scramble with the like. loopholes and power upgrades.. But I was invested for a time, it had a charm to me! I also loved the art and im curious about the authors next series about santa (partly because i too, am writing a story about santa). Dorohedoro has a great visual style, fun characters, i enjoyed reading but it also kinda didnt ...land for me beyond that, which is a shame. I feel like it is a series that "should" have clicked with me. And its like, not offensive to me but.. I'll forget that ive read the whole thing. I like STUFF in it. but thats not enough for me anymore. If i had read it when i was younger tho, it might have been a diff story. idk. My most unpopular opinion of all is that... I hated Dungeon Meshi.. Sure its ..pretty! cute designs. but i found it SO painfully boring and it actually was a struggle to finish. in the end, it felt like a waste of time.. SHOCKING take i know. That is the darling of everyones heart and i like, understand WHY its popular. .. but for me, i was not fed by anything. i am unfed and starved and going to eat elsewhere oh, and i.. as a person who has read a lot of fighting mangas.. I have tried to read chainsaw man, but i dont know if I can. I did finish Fire Punch. I'm surprised to say: i kinda liked it but it took a long time to force myself to read thru it. I honestly hated many aspects of Fujimoto's storytelling/character acting that i didn't think my opinion on it would change, but I'm a little more open to it now. I dont think i could ever super be into it or whatever, but i did find genuine enjoyment in aspects of fire punch. I did not really like look back. I haven't read his other one shot(s)? Where am i going with all this..I guess im giving some unrequested reviews after all...oops... a lot of this is spurred by how houseki no kuni is one of my most fav series, not only visually/characters/story/ect.. but i cant lie.... the ending... was kind of a flop for me... gorgeous and poetic ig sure but.. AUGH! it isnt what i wanted. maybe it'll be one of those "it'll grow on me" endings but thats mostly me having to go thru the 5 stages of personal grief and gaslight myself into it, but as the like actual honest first-reaction feeling it kinda lost me. I think it did not work when i felt the confrontation btwn phos/cinnabar wasn't the one i wanted to see. i will say tho, while im dissapointed, its not like a DEEP one or anything. I know its a miracle to even get to an ending.. i guess my take away feeling from it was like "everything fit together too well, too planned" but didnt feel planned, emotionally. I wasn't sold on it. Anyway, im here to speak my truth and my hot takes which, i honestly dont even want to have that one about HnK but its the real feeling i have for it.. Once again Utena's ending just has made all these other issues i have with various stories more obvious LOL

Definitely agree with you on the worlds end being better than hot fuzz and shaun of the dead. I think people find it disappointing because its the third of a trilogy and the first two set a tone - parodies of popular hollywood genres with some genuine emotion but mostly a focus on comedy. The worlds end places more weight on the emotion, so it loses some of the humour but imo it's definitely worth it because i dont think the film would've worked any other way.

Cool, genuinely glad to get this message and see I'm not the only person in the world with that unpopular opinion! I agree with you completely - it has a little more drama in with the comedy than the first two, but it still has a lot of funny moments in it. It's still firmly a comedy, and the comedic type of comedy, not one of those movies that's branded part of the "comedy" genre because that's the box where they put movies that aren't really anything else if they ever feature people having any fun. It is cool to me how all three of the Cornetto movies accomplish the goals of multiple genres - I once watched Hot Fuzz in the middle of the night while home alone, and the joke horror bits start to just feel like horror in that context. I had to put on an episode of 30 Rock after before I could sleep, same as I would with an actual horror movie.

I think all three movies are very good, obviously, but I know in general The World's End is considered the weak one and I just really like it, partly for reasons you described. I find the characters a little better drawn and more impactful, I get more invested in them than I do in the ones from the first two movies. The ending's weird, maybe goes a little over the top, but I still like it.

I do have a soft spot for that movie because I first saw it was in theatres with two good friends who now both live far away. In 2013 (sorry for responding to your message about a movie with a person story, I wasn't planning to until right now but it seems to be happening) me and my longtime best friend and two other guys had a nice sitcom-like friendship going for a few years. We had a regular pub where we met up two or three times a week and talk shit all night, and do stupid things together. I was moving a few hours away to do my last 2 years of university, and the night before I left my best friend was traveling for work so I didn't get to see him, but me and the two other guys in our group went to see The World's End in theatres. The three of us were all varying degrees of socially awkward and kind of relied on my best friend to facilitate normal social interactions, and without him, we struggled a bit with communication. But the least emotionally expressive member of our group was the one who suggested a cinema trip and picked the movie, and afterward I realized he knew what it would be about and taking us to see that was his way of saying he'd miss me.

Since then I've come back to my hometown but those guys are both gone - one followed his girlfriend across the country, one came with us to a wedding of our other friends in NZ, met an Australian woman at that wedding, and is now married to her and living in Australia. So I may connect with some of the themes of that movie (see I can talk about feelings on this anonymous Tumblr blog, but it's more difficult in real life), and therefore not be bothered by the layering of emotion.

Having said that, I think it's an objectively good movie that I'd rate highly even without a personal soft spot for it. If it loses humour compared to the first two, it's only a little bit, at the expense of better characters and a much stronger plot. I don't mean to denigrate the first two - they're all great. But the third's my favourite.

im that person who tries to be organized and is motivated by cleanliness and boxes to put ur pens in, but eventually it turns into chaos.. the only consistent organization i have is not leaving things on the floor

i just realized most celebrities dont have like.. any good tattoos? so i guess it would be some thing like that flower eyeball tattoo that brendon urie has.. but honestly not even that lmao

I used to love washing dishes but then i learnt how to fold clothes real fancy and since then i kinda like folding clothes.. but also..... i avoid both

i think bbh is better at setting the mood and making sure everyone is happy than keeping people under control.. so absolutely not. i also wouldnt want him to have to sacrifice any part of his personality to be a leader (bc his wild self is perfect)

its alphabetic so its starts with 4 Walls and end with a Monsta X song with a korean title. but out of the playlist i actually listen to (not alphabetic) its starts with artificial love and end in hey mama!

idk i really like my hair :( but so i guess whoever has a better version of my hair then.. long wavy dark brown/black hair and doesnt look like its dying of thirst
