The owner of this account is dumb as hell and accidentally deleted this ask when trying to respond so anon, I apologize! I wanted to make sure to answer your question anyways!
First of all, I'm sorry if my response to the last ask came off as hurtful in any way. It was not my intention and I hope this clears some things up!
When I said "pro-recovery for harmful paras", I meant to refer specifically to paraphillic disorders that are causing the individual problems (ill make sure to specify in the future!). Typically this means the "big three" and adjacent, but any sort of paraphillic disorder counts. Since we are very open about being pro-recovery for all disorders, we also support and encourage the recovery (however that may look) of those who struggle with symptoms related to a paraphillic disorder. We also acknowledge that recovery isn't the same for everyone, and results aren't the same for everyone.
One person's idea of recovery will be "I want to get rid of these thoughts, urges and attractions entirely," while for others (often depending on the origins of a paraphillic disorder) the main goal will be to find ways to find healthy ways to get their thoughts out (like in fiction), reduce guilt and fear, and ultimately feel safer in their own skin. Both of these examples, as well as any other recovery paths, are supported under this label.
