This is so random but potential SPOILER for Attack On Titan! These are the thoughts which plagued my mind recently as I'm rewatching AoT

Mikasa doesn't even have a picture of Eren. He exists only in her memory. The piece of her and Eren's life, the scarf she dearly held onto till the end is proof that Eren was indeed real and her love for him wasn't a dream. His existence was everything she could ever ask for, a part of her life forever. Eren, who gave her a reason to live and move forward.

Sure she moved on with her life but a part of her left with Eren when she swung her sword and cradled his head in her arms. I'm sure she found happiness later. That doesn't of course mean she forgot about Eren. It's just that Eren wouldn't like it if Mikasa held onto him forever even after everything came to an end. She deserves happiness and peace after everything she has gone through.
