This took me forever to finish!! I wanted to draw Sirius playing the piano like the Iconic scene from Queen where Freddie plays it upside down. Sirius learned classical Piano and violin from a young age as it was the "proper" music in his household. He saw James performing with his mandolin and singing his heart out. And he broke all the "rules" of music and it was chaotic and beautiful and melodious and Sirius fell in love.

Let me propose to you: Tim Drake has survivors guilt regarding Jason Todd's death.

So, my therapist talked to me about something and I had to think about the Batfam (again).

Did you know that sometimes children born after a miscariage can experience a kind of survivors guilt?

For example, they might find themselves wondering if they had been born if their sibling hadn't died. Like the reason that they are alive is because their sibling isn't. And so sometimes they feel like they have to earn the right to this life, like they have to "be good", to achieve for two lifes.

And for Tim, it is very easy to see that, had Jason not died, Tim would have never had the chance to be Robin. So, of course, Tim has to try extra hard to be a good Robin, because he has to make up for what it cost for him to be allowed this opportunity. If that makes sense?

My therapist also mentioned how this often presents in the mothers seeing the dead/unborn child in the new child. Which,,, you cannot tell me that that isn't Bruce and Tim at least in the time right after Jason's death.
