i have never watched the original she-ra besides a few clips, but honestly it doesn't seem to be as mean-spirited as spop can be. it seems very accepting of the characters. even if, like, bow is usually the comedic relief, i don't feel like he's the butt of the joke the way spop kyle is. og bow is just clumsy and dorky but overall he seems to be a good friend to adora.

while i may like some of the character designs from spop better, i also feel that the original ideas were far better. like, og she-ra just sounds more interesting overall? where i live though it's not very popular in comparison to he-man, so i never checked it out when i was younger. but that might change, who knows?
