I have 2 new current wips stewing and I can never just give a small snippet so sorry. We got ranch hand and Austins most eligible bachelor below for your perusing:

Ranch hand Joel

I'm working on many things. But then I fell off a horse yesterday and was inspired to write this ranch hand Joel fic:

"Easy there, easy," a familiar voice drawls as strong hands gently roll you onto your back. Joel's face swims into view, his brow furrowed with concern. "Looks like you had a bit of a tumble, darlin'. Can you tell me where it hurts?"

His voice is deep and soothing, cutting through the haze of pain. You manage to point to your side, wincing as he carefully probes the area. "Just bruised, I reckon," he says after a moment, his touch surprisingly gentle for such calloused hands. "Your arm too. We should get you back to the house. Might need to go to the doctor."

You'll be damned if you involve any more people than necessary, you never fall off the horses, why did it have to happen in front of the hottest cowboy alive.

As he settles you onto his horse, he keeps a steady hand on your back, making sure you're secure before he swings up behind you. The closeness is overwhelming; his body is a solid wall of heat at your back, and you can feel the muscles in his thighs as they grip the horse's flanks. It's a strange mix of vulnerability and safety, being so close to this man who just days ago was little more than a stranger.

The ride back to the ranch is a blur of sensations—the rhythmic sway of the horse beneath you, the scent of leather and sweat mingling with Joel's unique aroma of woodsmoke and something undeniably masculine. You find yourself leaning into him without thinking, seeking comfort in his strength.

"Almost there," Joel reassures you as the house comes into view. His breath is warm against your ear, sending an unexpected shiver down your spine. "We'll get some ice on those bruises and take a look at ya."

The DJ's voice booms through the small kitchen speakers: "Good morning, Austin! Are you tired of the same old dating scene? Swipe left, swipe right, and still no luck? Well, hold onto your cowboy hats because 'Austin's Most Eligible' is saddling up for another season of love, laughter, and maybe even a little bit of lassoing!"

[Sound effect: Horse neighing and whip cracking]

"That's right, y'all! 'Austin's Most Eligible' is back and better than ever, bringing you the finest catches in the Lone Star State. Nominate him today, and he could be crowned Austin's Most Eligible Bachelor, winning a luxurious date night and a feature in the Austin Chronicle!"

[Sound effect: Cowboy yeehawing]

"This is K-AUS, signing off. Y'all come back now, ya hear?"

Sarah nearly chokes on her eggs as she giggles uncontrollably. "Dad," she says between laughs, "you should totally enter this!"

Joel raises an eyebrow at her suggestion but can't help chuckling along with her infectious laughter. "Me? Nah, I think I'm a bit too old for that kind of thing." He shakes his head and focuses on finishing his breakfast. But Sarah isn't easily deterred; she has that look in her eye – mischievous yet earnest – that tells him she won't drop it so easily this time around.

Just realized that I have exactly ten Wednesday fanfics and I don't think I have a single pattern. Just pure chaos, yeehaw!!

i was tagged by @butchbebop​ for a tag game where u answer 20 questions and then tag 20 ppl so, here goes!! i dont really know how to do this so i just googled 20 questions yeehaw

1. What do you do when you relax: i usually put on music or watch a movie/show and maybe draw at the same time

2. What was your dream job when you were a kid: i remember wanting to be a vet after being told “artist” wasnt a viable career path

3. What is the most valuable thing that you own: in terms of money, probably my switch or computer. i couldn’t possibly choose one thing thats the Most valuable to me, but i rely on my computer and tablet for a lot so i’d miss them the most.

4. How would you describe a perfect day: i feel well the whole day, spending it with someone i care abt in a temperate and beautiful area of nature, far from the crowds and pollution of the city.

5. If you could go back five years in your life, what advice would you give yourself: i would probably tell myself that it gets better, and sooner than you think. you dont have to wait till youre 18 to start living your life. fight for your freedom now and dont give up. id probably be more specific but this isnt a list of my top ten most sad traumas lol

6. If you could be any age for a week, what age would you be: i’d go back to being a little kid so i could be small again

What experiences have most shaped who you are today: being a closeted gay kid has definitely effected my life and opinions and feelings. id say my shitty experience with school also majorly shaped who i am. honestly i might not be as passionate about reforming the school system if my experience in so many different types of schools wasnt as shitty

8. What is your biggest fear: this question has always been hard for me to answer because i dont think about what’s scary to me that much. if i had to guess, based on my nightmares, i hate feeling trapped and being unable to do anything

9. If you could go any place in the world right now, where would you go: southern ireland! i have ancestors from ireland and it seems like theres nice weather there...very moist, perfect for a slimy fucker like me :} also theres cool ruins there

10. If you could have one super power, which would you choose: the power to create anything with my mind! then i could have all the money i need, any food i want, etc. especially if fictional things could become real and work irl

11. What makes you feel most fulfilled: making things with my own two hands! i love to create and it rly fulfilling when i finish something and it looks+works great :}

12. What are you most passionate about: idk! my interests change a lot! but i think drawing will always be something i care about and enjoy

13.  What is your greatest learning from your hobbies: this is gonna sound silly, but the primary colors they teach you in school? thats wrong!!! the way i think of it, there are two sets of primary colors, the primary colors of light: red, blue, green (the colors your computer monitor uses) and the primary colors of pigment: cyan, magenta, yellow (the colors your printer uses). i guess cmy would be secondary colors since we see everything because of light??

14. What personal passion project are you working on right now: im trying to develop some ocs right now but idk if “passion project” is the phrase for it tho since i have to force myself to work on it jkshaksdfgk

15. What would you like to create in the world that doesn't exist, that you would endure personal sacrifice to bring to life: the death of capitalism yeehaw!!

16. What are you most proud of: my growth as a person! ive grown and changed a lot over the years and im proud of myself for making the effort to be a better person

17. If you could meet any historical figure, who would you choose and why: definitely sappho, so i could ask her about her poems and hear what tune they were supposed to be sung to.

18. favorite season: late fall and winter because thats the only time it cools down in this fucking desert

19. What item that you don't have already, would you most like to own: lots of money! i would like to have money

20. If you woke up tomorrow as an animal, what animal would you choose to be and why: either a cat because they’re cool and soft, or a frog because i want slime and cats+frogs are two of my favorite animals
