I love Tubbo's little revenge arc going right now because Fred was the tipping point, but it wasn't the whole package.

He's been saying since before Fred that he feels like no one else cares about what he says or his opinions. And then the Tubhole controversy happened, and this thing that Tubbo spent HOURS creating FOR everyone else was suddenly tuned into a point of contention for the sake of drama, just for the other island residents to make fun of him and bother him for. He's been, at least from his (reasonably understandable) POV, disrespected, undervalued, and most dangerously, underestimated.

And now Quackity made the ill-fated mistake of pushing him over the edge by kidnapping someone that Tubbo cares deeply about. And now they finally get to see just how thoughtfully Tubbo can rip someone down to their bare bones and just how throughly he can break someone down. His plan is to make Quackity doubt his reality. I can not stress enough how deeply fucked-up that is. He's totally done with everyone's bullshit, and he's ready to start problems.

I'm thinking very hard about the accidental parallels that keep happening between Pierre and tubbo...

Their both stubborn, very intelligent, inventors who are constantly annoying the other. Their mirrors but in the way that their the same and yet opposites..

And there's something to be said about Tubbo, who thinks he has to give to be loved, that if he has nothing to offer then no one will stay. Mirrored directly by Pierre literally having been in a relationship that was based solely on maxo needing items, Pierre thought they where in love, but maxo was only with him for materials.

Idk I just think their dynamic can run a lot deeper knowing that Pierre also gives so so much. Literally just another mirror between him and tubbo with the tubhole and the free stuff factory.

Tubbo is a very interesting character in general in the way how he mirrors a lot of others in different ways.

Like I would argue Bad and Tubbo in a lot of ways are mirrors of each other. As well as Tubbo and Roier. Tubbo and Quackity perhaps. A lot of his dynamics can be described through mirroring each other.

Which is also one of the tragedies of his character: what sound does the tree make when it falls and nobody is near?
