by the way, i finished Nadia's route for the first time and I can really confidently say that out of all the routes i've done thus far - Lucio's and Julian's finished, Asra's and Muriel's half done -, this one was the most well put together for me - which is funny, considering Nadia herself is ALSO the most well put together character in the game :')

Ezrabet, Werewolves/Vampire AU, Innocent physical contact
Really, she shouldn’t have been surprised it came down to this. They hadn’t believed her when she told them that there were no carriages to Seeufer or Tannen from Starkbrunn; but after a fruitless day of asking, they agreed to let her lead the trek. The safest route would take them between the Südlache and the Schwartzen Walden (it would be faster to boat over the Südlache, but they didn’t have a boat, there were none to hire on this side of the lake, and she didn’t trust herself enough on water, especially that water). Ezrabet just hoped they would actually listen to her warnings, most of her statements about her home land seemed to be met with mild bemusement, but they didn’t know.
Monster had always roamed Eisen, they had been beaten back, but the bleeding fields of her country had brought them back in force. All roads were dangerous at night now, and not just from the hungry and opportunistic. But they were by the Schwartzen Walden; and she prayed to Theus and his Prophets that her friends wouldn’t have to witness the horrors she knew that lay within.
They set off in the morning at a brisk pace, it was going to take more than a day to get there, but she wanted to cover as much ground as possible before night fall. She knew the others were suffering, even though she had gone deliberately slower then the marching she was used to, and whilst Nadia, Ros, and Rafael stayed silent about it, The Lady complained loudly and at length, despite frequent attempts to quiet her. The meal breaks were brief, Ezrabet tense as she kept an eye on the treeline.
Dusk started to approach far too quickly for her liking, when she called a halt; this was the bit that was really going to upset them. “Who here has climbed a tree before?” She had really hoped that all of them had, but not her luck. “We eat quickly, then up a tree to sleep, I will teach you how.”
That got complaints from everyone, but it wasn’t too long before she had everyone up in the branches, showing them how to loop rope around their legs and the branch so they wouldn’t fall. She sat, nestled in-between Rafael and Nadia, linking arms with the two of them. “I promise, I don’t do this without cause.”
The sun slipped down past the mountains, leaving them in growing darkness.
A wolf howled, answered by a chorus; and the forest awoke.
