I am either hallucinating from exhaustion or there is a pretty big (by british housespider standards at least) incredibly speedy spider on my desk and i do not know which is worse
#i think id quite like it to be a hallucination#3am is not Dealing With Spiders Time#basically i saw something small dark and circular sculttle across my desk to out of sight behind my tablet#(which is on my lap leaning against my desk)#then i felt behind the tablet and looked around and didnt see it so i went back to drawing slightly confused#then i saw the dark thing scuttle to under my pencil case like a min and it looked like a spider#but i know that people hallucinate spiders when tired#im not THAT tired#nor am i particularly sleep deprived#i mean its 3am but i also stayed up till 3am last night and got 8 hours of sleep so this is just my sleep schedule#ouugghhh

Of all the things I struggle with with my ADHD I find the fact that I'm almost always late one of the hardest. Because it's like I'm fully aware that I do it and it should be so easy to fix but it's like my brain is just being piloted by an easily distracted goblin.
#not swiftpost#its like stuff just takes me so long and no matter how much time i need i always need twice as much#and sometimes i can use it to my advantage and tell myself that I'll only draw for 10 minutes and end up spending 2 hours#which is good because i produce more and i procrastinate drawing literally all the time#but its also like so frustrating when i have work or meetings with friends that im pretty much always late to#like the only reasons i havent got in trouble for being late at work is because 1) i havent been caught#2) im the manager so i call up my staff letting them know and they don't tell on me#3) the retail ops manager has a soft spot for me i guess so she doesn't seem to give a shit ansmdm#but it's just like. really really annoying#like this morning im going on a walk with this meetup group and im very late which is partly public transports fault#but also because i slept through my alarm because i was so tired last night#and was watching the crown instead of getting my bag/lunch ready...

cannot sleep bc i am filled with a deep deep sadness
#wind howls#its 8 am. im debating whether or not to just stay awake. i can nap later or even just sleep a full night. maybe#i kinda want to draw if im honest. but ive been drawing kinda since dnd ended#but really i should be drawing like. stuff for school. i have 2 drawings i need to do for 3 classes#and sure i could leave one for tomorrow and do it Before class but im trying to Not do my shit last second especially this early on#i just. want to draw my ani guy. i think hes kinda making me sad but its not a bad thing it just means my dm is good at making stories#but also i have other reasons im sad both more important and less important#i think im still shaken by the nightmare i had last night. it felt. so possible yknow. like something that really could happen.#i was so distraught i actually refused to talk about it until i had breakfast bc the superstition got to me#and the fact that i remember almost everything from the nightmare. i want to cry just thinking about it for these tags#i hate it. i hate it. it really upset me.#maybe thats why i havent slept yet. im really afraid ill have this bad a nightmare again. just like when i was a kid. but im tired#and i want to sleep. i want to not think about this stupid nightmare#but really i just have to be brave and. close my eyes. and hope with all my heart that my dreams treat me sweeter tonight#please wish me luck. goodnight
