#i got the official diagnosis in july and i still don't know how to break it to them#the other day my sister told me i had autism and she meant it as a joke but that hurt because it was judgmental#and /neg and i. am afraid she might see me differently#if i tell them then i have to educate them first#and educating your own family feels like it's too much when you teach for a living#idkidkidk#they might resent me for getting the diagnosis behind their back too#(or backs?)#i went with my mom and we did this so quietly. that i don't think i mentioned it here either#so. yeah. took me 25 years lol#what if my family starts blaming the autism every time i get on their nerves#i don't want to be the autistic child every time i come home#and yet. i'm already that. they're just all so used at accommodating me that they don't notice. it's amazing and horrible at the same time#personal shit#i'm either going to post this or delete it
