what do you like best about the wonder woman run you're reading?

So far? Diana’s sense of joy and whimsy. There have been many adaptations or even other comics that don’t let Diana have fun. Sure, later down the line, she can be more calm, but I think Wonder Woman should always have a free and joyous spirit.

Also, the colours. The art is stellar.

This event having Captain America/Wonder Woman and not Storm/Wonder Woman is genuinely an insane fumble. Like thats the easiest slam dunk ever what???

What is it about combining fantastic watercolours and garbage character assassinations that makes DC keep doing it?

these books are the same trust me.

They both have gorgeous watercolour art and absolutely terrible shitty childhood retcons.

This one is very bad, Diana is a spoiled child who kills her first crush to win a contest and is banished for her crimes to go be Wonder Woman about it before she ever kisses a real live girl. Also that building with the onion roof in the scrying pool is 400 years old so it retcons her age too i guess.

this one has Bruce bending over backwards to be the perfect father while Jason is this "evil inner monologue" having, violent asshole.

DC has made it clear over the years that they are committed to changing the core of Jason's character, giving all his sunshine to Dick and giving him all of Dicks rage.

these are gorgeous to look at and frustrating to read. its like they were written by one of those fandom members who never once read an actual comic.

Alfred would not say that

Bruce was the most disturbed violent kid ever to go through puberty, Alfred not only would accept a fucked up kid, HE HAS EXPERIENCE WITH THIS EXACT BULLSHIT.

That's not Jason Todd.

That's not Alfred.

That's not Bruce Wayne. That's not Diana.

These comics did not deserve that art.
