Tell me about your ocs!!

ohohohoho okay okay okay SO they r for my space pirates story and last summer i had a whole bunch of characters for this story but i forgot them all so today i did some writing for it and am remaking the characters so far we have three

there’s Cap (they/them): they’re the captain ! when they came out as nonbinary they were not yet the captain of this ship but they were PLANNING to be so Cap got jokingly used as a placeholder name while they tried to find another one and then it stuck. they’re very. hm. not uptight exactly but very controlled? not likely to show their emotions in loud or showy ways. they and the first mate on the ship grew up together and planned the whole running away to be space pirates together. they try to seem rlly tough but they love people so much they want to cry abt it. also they have a cool gun and are aromatic but they DO have a weird gay thing going on with the first mate. like those two fuck for sure

Tachi (he/him): he’s the first mate !! caps bff and also partner (romantic-ish). he’s trans and named himself tachi bc it’s a type of japanese sword and he’s japanese and loves swords. he DOES fight with one even tho more practical weapons are available. he also talks to it like it’s a person. he has an odd relationship with his sword. he’s a lot more open abt certain stuff than cap tends to be but both of them can have trouble trusting new people and both of them have spent a lot of time learning how to look tough and intimidating

Maisie (she/her): okay so i’ve not rlly written maisie yet but she HAS been mentioned. she grew up with cap and tachi but DIDNT get invited to run away and steal a ship and be space pirates. she did however know abt this and secretly stow away on their ship. she too wants to run away. she’s very good with explosives and definitely a little bit mean and horrible. she likes to hide in little nooks doing her own thing and then when people walk by she’ll try and scare them. she does care a lot abt the crew tho and bc i’m me all my characters r poly so she’s definitely gonna join the cap/tachi relationship at some point

i don’t rlly have specific ages for any of them rn but i’m thinking like. vaguely 18-22 range ? something like that. and i’m gonna add more characters also !! i don’t rlly have much of a plot but definitely part of it is them picking up new members of their crew/polycule
