I know that Bill was upset that Paul refused to see Mama Mia with him and Alice, but tbh, he did him a favor. Going to see Mama Mia sober is bad enough. Going to see Mama Mia sober with your dad and your girlfriend that he hates is even worse. Going to Mama Mia sober with your dad, your girlfriend that he hates, and your dad's random loser co-worker who actively hates musicals sounds absolutely fucking awful. Really hammers home the fact that Bill has no fucking clue what he's doing lol.
