The way both Bolsa and Eladio were 100% aware that Gus wanted revenge against the Salamancas and were even reasonably certain that he had started actively killing them, but, because he was so profitable to the business, they went out of their way to gaslight the entire family about this being the case on multiple occasions, only to be shocked and horrified when it turned out that the revenge thing applied to them as well.
