#i have thought about giving gabe some goofy movement mechanics too

Hmm. Wonder if V1 could teach Gabriel "Slam Storage" or all those other quirky ways of moving about? You know, considering his status and all that? (BTW, love your work!)
(aaa thank you!!) gabriel definitely has a lot to learn about the mechanics and physics of moving on the ground, which he initially sort of underestimates as flying, by its much less linear nature, would seem more difficult on the surface....and it would be, if that wasn't just gabriel's natural state that he's worked with for eons lol and omggg i love the idea of v1 trying to teach him what it knows, how to move faster, how to jump off walls, how to pivot and dodge just at the right moment. it can't fully translate but with v1 optimized for ground combat, it can give him plenty of aid in learning how he needs to move now without his wings (a big hurdle is just getting gabe to not instinctively try to use them while still on foot to give himself an extra boost or to take weight off to turn or stop - his wings just completely throw him off since they're no longer fit to function that way and it hurts BAD!!!) but i think its lessons definitely start to take and gabriel learns to move VERY quickly on the battlefield, plus he's absolutely great at launching enemies into the stratosphere with ground slamming since he now weighs significantly more than v1 does (also means v1 can quickly whiplash right to him - convenient!) and so his slam storage is probably ridiculous and possibly devastating lmao i still think v1 maintains a speed lead on him (esp with built-in functions like sliding and dashing), but gabriel becomes a highly mobile fighter with some of the burden eased by having a partner. great until v1 pulls out its bonus "advanced tech" class (it's rocket surfing)
