Speaking of Beast Dazai, Yeah Yeah Yeah (V2) by Jack Conte. "I knew it all along", "I felt it in my heart, if theres even one to feel".

And for dark era/15 Era dazai, Haunt Me (x 3) by Teen Suicide is my go to. "I want a lo of friends and a lot of drugs", plus the speech at the end about self esteem guys it's such a vibe too it FEEEEEELS like dazai.

I can probably fit any Will Wood song to Dazai actually...

LEMONS by Brye and Cavetown is SOOOOO angsty one sided skk. Like it feels like chuuya ranting abt how horribly dazai treated him? Such a mood, he listens to it every day.

So, I haven't interacted or posted basically all month.. yeah. Sorry I've been completely MIA. TL:DR, my grandmother has been in the icu for the past month, but I'm ready to try and write again. More explanation under the cut.

Originally I thought she was mostly OK, just having some trouble with her breathing bc 1 month before this, 2 months ago now she had pneumonia and I thought she was okay, and the other person I live didn't tell me that she was in critical state, but then a week later I found out that her lung collapsed, and she went into lung and heart failure and had to be rushed to a hospital out of town (we live in a small town. It's only like 25 mins away.) Shes mostly ok, but she had to get a tracheotomy bc she needs a ventilator for a long period of time. I won't get into too many specifics, but she had rsv (respiratory virus) that was very serious and she's basically been in a medically inuced coma for the past month, although in the last week is they've been working in letting her get more conscious. I've been feeling very complicated about the whole thing and I haven't been able to write anything until recently (last couple of days)

Just 3 months ago, I delt with my first death to someone close to me due to cancer. No one I care about/know very well has died before, so the fear of loosing my grandmother too has been difficult to deal with. To give you an idea, my grandma isn't someone who I visit a couple times a year or something, I live with her and she was my primary character/legal guardian for my entire life.

Our relationship isn't perfect and while I have my fair share of trauma I still care about her greatly, and the idea that I wouldn't get to resolve and talk about our issues and work them out in therapy, to never get that clarity on my childhood, has been terrifying for me.

Thankfully she's been doing a lot better and is no longer considered in a critical state, and they're talking about moving her somewhere else where their job is to deal with people as sick as she is. Like physical therapy and the whole nine yards cuz she's been bedridden for the past month.

So, that's everything that's been going on with me. It's been rough, but things are looking mostly ok for now.

I've really only been writing again for the past couple of days, maybe a tiny bit of editing or jotting down ideas here and there throughout the month, but I basically haven't worked on or touched anything that I'm currently posting. It'll take some time to get back into the flow of things, but I think I'm ready to start now.

Honestly, I don't know. Maybe Steve? 😅 I mean I'd love to see what's going on in Billy boy's head sometimes, to try and understand why he's acting the way he is. But honestly, we don't know much about Steve either right? We haven't seen his parents, don't know much about his childhood and his trademark is being 'dumb' and having 'great hair', but we all know he's more than that. I think it would be an interesting week indeed. 😄

The Breakfast Club - because I need at least one 80's movie with me. And it's a pretty good high school & teen drama movie imo.

Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey - this movie made me cry as a kid and the ending scene still brings tears to my eyes. I mean two talking dogs and one cat going on a huge adventure in the wildnerness. There's humor, there's drama and there's some angst too. But it's a great family movie, brings a smile to my face (along with those tears). :)

Cube - Because I love me some good psychological horror.

His comment made your cheeks redder, if that was even possible and you couldn't help but look down at your feet slightly embarassed, he on the other hand looked quite pleased.

Before any of you two could say any other word, Jesse suddenly popped up next to you, wrapping an arm around Trent even though the scouser was a bit taller than him.

"Trent, My boy." He squeezed his side, before he pulled away and then you watched them do their weird handshakes.

"I see that you've met Angel." Jesse told him, eying the two of you suspiciously.

"Ha, so you're the famous Angel?" Trent raised an eyebrow at you.

"My name isn't Angel." You rolled your eyes, telling him your real name but as always Jesse cut you off.

"Don't listen to her, Bro." He shook his head, "She's our little Angel."

"She sure looks like one." The scouser whispered, only for you to hear it.

"Huh?" Jesse clearly didn't hear the comment.

"I said that it nice to finally put a face to the name." He smoothly coverd the situation, your face finally going back to normal. "I am Trent." He said, extending his hand for you to take it.

"Nice to meet you, Arnold." You smirked.

"Oh, so you know me too?" A small smirk appearing on his lips as well.

"Just because I am a girl, doesn't mean I clueless about football." You remarked, raising an eyebrow.

You hands were still linked together in front of you, and somehow you completely forgot that Jesse was stending next to you.

"In fact, she's quite the opposite." The mancunian commented, wrapping an arm around your waist prospectively. "She's a football fanatic, mate."

"Glad to know." The scouser nodded, finally letting go of your hand.

"Let's get some drinks." Jesse said, dragging the two of you toward the bar.

The two of them started chatting and you couldn't help but steal a glance now and then at him.

"Is it me or are you trying to flirt with the scouser?" Lucy's voice suddenly echoed in your ear, making you jump up in surprise.

"Did y'all just decide to try to give me a heart attack today?" You glared at the brunette, "And what? I am not trying to flirt with him!"

"Bullshit!" She mumbled, narrowing her eyes clearly not believing you. "I know how you get when someone catches your eye."

"Lucy, seriously." You sigh in desperation, "You know I am not looking for anyone at the moment."

"Can't blame you though, he's kinda cute." She said, her eyes scanning the boy from head to toes completely ignoring your words.

A few minutes later the giant cake has finally arrived, and you all gathered around it singing out loud foe your friend, making sure to film every second of it to keep it on your phone, making great memories.

The party was now over, at least for you it was. You were exhausted, couldn't even stand on your feet properly, you said goodbye to both Jesse and Marcus, of course they spent fifteen more minutes trying to persuade you to stay a little bit longer but you just couldn't anymore.

Lucia was the one driving both of you to your shared apartment, you always thought that you'd have tge whole flat to yourself once she moves in with Marcus but it seems like the boy was too much of coward and still didn't have enough balls to ask her to move in with him.

"Leaving without a goodbye, Angel?" You heard him say softly, standing right behind you.

"I thought you left?" You lied.

"Hum, wanted to see you one last time before I leave." He smiled, "I wish we would've chatted a little bit longer...just the two of you." He added, looking down at his feet.

"Yeah, well Jesse is pretty protective of you haven't noticed." You giggled, and his eyes pierced into yours he loved the sound of your giggle as if it was the first time he heard someone do so.

"Maybe you could give me your number, so I can get to know you a bit better?" He asked quietly, both of his hands in his pockets.

"How about, if we meet again..." You started, "if we ever see each others again, I promise I'll give it to you." You finished with a wink.

"Deal." He mumbled, slightly disappointed.

You were playing the hard to get game and you loved it, because if he did want anything to do with you than he'll work for it.

A couple of days have passed since Jesse's amazing birthday, you were very anxious and stressed because your exams were only a week away but the bright side of it is once the exams are overs you'd finally be free for the christmas holidays.

"Still whining about the finals?" Marcus barged into your room, with a bag of chips in his hand and a coke on the other.

He threw himself on your bed, sipping down on his coke like he had no worry in the world.

"Man, don't you know how to knock?" You yelled, "What if I was naked?"

"Like that timw when we were sixteen?" He smirked, wiggling his eyebrows.

"I was half naked!" You cried, "I was in my underwears, you perv!"

"Doesn't matter." He shrugged, chewing loudly on his chips. "You still studying, god you're such a nerd."

"Some of us have to study and work hard to get a stable job." You narrowed your eyes, "Not all of us are professional footballers."

"Yeah, you can't play for shit." He snorted, making your eyes widen.

"Why are you here anyway?" You said, your voice full of annoyance. "Don't you have training or a date with your girlfriend?"

"Nice try, it's nine p.m" He rolled his eyes, "Lucy's having dinner at her parents tonight."

You were so focused on your books today that you totally forgot that she had a family dinner, you remmeber her asking you to tag along but you just politely turned her offer down because you really needed to study.

"You know what?" You sais to no one in particular. "I am done, I am tired and you're too annoying so impossible for me to finish studying in peace. " you slammed your books shut.

"Angel, You haven't left your room all day." He spoke softly, sitting up on your bed. "You need a break, you're smart girl don't overwork yourself."

"I just want to graduate as soon as I can."

"And you will." He smiled softly. "Come on" he said, grabbing your hand and yanking you up.

"Where?"

"I am taking you out for dinner." He said excitedly.

"I am too tired." You whined.

"You have ten minutes or you're going  in you pyjamas"

And indeed in ten minutes you were ready, and already in his car on your way to Marcus favourite restaurant.

"Go take a seat, I'll just need to go to the bathroom real quick." Marcus announced, once the two of you walked into the small restaurant.

A nice waiter led you to one of the tables and handed you two menus, you thanked him and opened to read and try to see what to chose for dinner.

"Well if this isn't a nice suprise." You heard a voice, you were craving to hear for the oast couple of days.

A shitty one cuz I am somehow having a writer block??? So idk if I am going to be able to update tomorrow, I'll try my best I promise.

4) Do you have any OCs? Do you have a story for them?

I do actually! I made an OC for a Harry Potter WIP fic that's still readable on my ffnet page. I do need to give it a major rewrite/re-editing since the quality of my writing and overall style has improved since I started working on it, but it's there if you dare read....!

I do have ideas for future OC's but that's an adventure I haven't embarked on quite yet.

11) Three tropes that are fine but overrated.

Hoo boy...I wouldn't say any regular trope is overrated personally just because I find that the quality of the trope heavily relies on how it's written and how we as viewers commonly see the trope portrayed in media. So, the tropes I would classify as 'overrated' are simply because I'm not happy with some of the portrayal of these consistently and I think the poor writing of these tropes is what's overrated...not necessarily the trope itself, especially since this is the 'this trope is fine' as opposed to the 'absolutely not okay' tropes.

That being said here are my biases with tropes I find overrated.....when I'm just tired of seeing these written in a way I personally don't jive with lmao until that one ship comes in and I'm so pleasantly surprised : childhood friends to lovers, best friend's to lovers, fake dating/anonymity/secret identity realm. The last one tho...not enough ships come to mind with that one, it's more of a practicality thing I think. Especially since all of these tropes just need a brilliant couple to make these much more enjoyable as opposed to 'overrated' haha.
