but to be fair to them, its cheaper and probs easier to get to a six flages than didney. i could probs afford to go to the six flags in my state but disney would put me more in debt just to get to any location

Idk which six flags is yours, but mine is six flags over georgia and its generally considered… not the greatest? not the worst either, but no one’s traveling here to go there. also, its like, 99F with 100% humidity on any given day. which I guess isn’t much different than Disney World’s location in Florida, but Disney at least gives you more places to find shade and cool off.

Personally I just think like, as far as Georgia attractions go…. you can do yourself a million times better by going ANYWHERE else than six flags with your money.

there’s a Margaritaville water park at Lake Lanier (which has a super interesting historical background and has a legacy of being haunted!), there’s the zoo, the aquarium, the world of coke (which is kinda lame too tbh but ATL is where cocacola was invented! and they have a cool little room where you can try all their products from different countries), the civil rights museum is an extraordinarily interesting place and I can’t recommend it enough either.

I’d also be remiss to not mention Oakland Cemetery, which is one of my favorite places in the world and has tours every weekend! its ~40 acres and ~200 years old. a lot of ATL’s mayors are buried there, as well as the writer of Gone With The Wind, Margaret Mitchell, and country legend Kenny Rogers. it has a deep and complicated history and I highly encourage everyone to interact with it. they have awesome volunteers (I may be biased), a little giftshop, and really cool events that happen seasonally!

there’s Savannah GA (also haunted!) (they have a haunted pirate restaurant!) (they get fucking crazy on St Patricks Day!) (and theres the beach!) (Tybee Island is nearby! you can visit lighthouses and go on wild life tours!)

there’s Stone Mountain (which gets a lot of shit but is fun as a day trip thing and they have cool light shows at night), in the fall you can go up to the mountains and visit the apple orchards and pick your own apples and most of the places have VERY GOOD baked goods and cider. there’s also Helen, which is a cool little town with european influences, and Dahlonega, which both have river rafting and are extremely beautiful places.

if you want to go further south, you can visit the Okefenokee Swamp, but I’m not even going to pretend like I know a lot about what south ga has going on.

none of this even takes into consideration the amount of other historical sights + nature parks we have scattered about.

tldr my state is full of really cool and very fun things to do that aren’t just 15 different rollercoasters and a subpar waterpark

ok so as u know i beat mass effect 1 like. three days ago and all i have to say is AJDHGASDG!! DEFINITELY A FAVORITE!! WHERE HAS THIS GAME BEEN ALL MY LIFE!!! rn i am in the process of playing me2 (im like 20 hrs in but i’ve done like nothing bc i am a completionist gamer and spend all my times stripping planets bare of their resources before leaving forever, and also just walking around everywhere looking at shit and messing around with my crew and avoiding the main questline) and oh my gosh!!!! also definitely a favorite im so in love with this game!!! its heartbreaking and genuinely funny and ridiculous and DID I MENTION THE COMBAT SYSTEM I LOVE IT. also any games that give u the option to dance are 10/10 in my book. also when garrus laughed once i died.

in summary mass effect is a great found family simulator. however there’s this really persistent bug where ppl keep talking to me about these reapers and their followers the goths geths, its kinda distracting me from the main purpose of the game, which is to gather up as many ragtag sad friends as u can. hopefully theyll remove all that other stuff in the next patch

dragon age origins is definitely one of my favorite games ever of all time, i BELIEVE it was my first bioware game and oh my GOD it was so good. the lore. the LORE. the CHARACTERS. the DRAMA the SCANDAL. it was so good i wanna cry. i was taken aback by how real all the companions were and how u could actually talk to them…. wild

dragon age 2 is no match for origins in my book but i still enjoyed it a lot, gotta give that one a good, the combat was definitely a lot simpler and a lot more fun and look. im a typical gamer i love a good fight, i love spamming buttons and having shit work out somehow. also a good cast!

i played like 150 hours of da:i with just one inquisitor and yet i have no memories of this game. i remember nothing, i know cole was there and i was real shook bc i read the dragon age books (i was super into dragon age like?? two years ago i think) and then varric was there and also i fought a lot of dragons. dorian carried us. my dream team was me, blackwall, varric, and dorian we had a lot of fun. alistair died. ummm i spent a lot of time standing in the tavern listen to the lady with the nice voice sing. gotta give this game a solid good, i don’t remember anything abt this game but i sure had a lot of fun playing it, whatever it was

ok so i have like 300+ hrs into this game bc i keep starting over with new sole survivors and all of them are named washington. i still havent beaten this game. if u had asked me what my opinion of this game was like six months ago i wouldve been like this is a favorite for sure but now its like…. eh…. i play it for an hour every once in a while but it’s honestly started to bore me a little… like don’t get me wrong i very much enjoyed this game!!!
