“AN EASY QUESTION to answer.” The bosmer grinned, a single fang becoming visible as she did so. “Vicente has a distinct smell of blood about him. There’s that familiar leather smell, and steel and silver. Ah, and an oddly earthy scent-- perhaps because the Sanctuary is underground? I’m not sure what the reason for that one is. An oddly out-of-place apple scent lingers around him as well. Maybe because M’raaj-Dar keeps his poisoned apples in the Sanctuary? Then again, Vicente sleeps in his own quarters. I’ve honestly no idea why that smell lingers but it’s there without fail.” 

MAYBE IT’S DUE to her own association, though. But it makes it a painful reminder that he’s out there on his own when she goes to Fort Farragut for Lucien’s poisoned apples.
