DM: Vampirism is a serious matter in our game. There is no safe way to indulge bloodlust, and a vampire who chooses not to drink blood will not starve but will be fighting a constant battle against relapse. Its a grim, sad situation.
Me, a cat owner, watching my domesticated fanged beast gently bite me without an ounce of malice just because cat brain requires at least one daily chomp: counter argument -- what if instead their latent predator instincts were really cute though?
#I'm just saying#what if laz occasionally succumbs to the urge to go in for a light nibble at a wrist or a throat and victor is just like 'yeah sure fine'#and he did like my cat does and only bites down on clothing so as to be careful to not break skin#i just think exercising monster instincts in a safe healthy and domestic way is really cute#also it's a shame that drinking blood would be so harmful for him coz the mental image of him just idly sipping on victors wrist#while they're in the middle of a group conversation is also adorable. vic carefully holding that arm still while wildly gesticulating#with the other arm as he rambles about something to the party#laz occasionally pulling back to add commentary or soften something victor said cuz vics being too mean#and then being fondly waived off and told 'just finish draining my blood'#the rest of the party being unfazed by this because yeah that's just their weird journalist duo#I'M JUST SAYING#vampires should run cat os#sad warlock hours
