this might just be the "i grew up with buffy and am biased" talking but i feel like joss whedons writing style has gotten increasingly emotionless and sterile as time has gone on. like its actually fun in buffy and firely but with the mcu everything is just so completely flat and dry, which i think also definitely goes down to the directing but idk the mcu turns everyone it touches into a talentles hack

#not claiming that joss whedon was like extremely talented or whatever btw but buffy and firefly were fun and entertaining #and pretty much everything ive seen of the mcu makes me just. SO bored or im just thinking baout how terrible the delivery of everything is #op #like there are some people i Know can act in there and theyre all just giving the flatest delivery possible #i know theyre all being kept in little jars only to be released to stand in an empty room with a green screen
