gon has got too much compassion. specially for his enemies.

when he over and over tells the ant hes fighting that he doesnt have to die if gon wins, that he can surrounded, then hes just continuously putting it in his head that no matter what, life is always precious and should be sacred. i guess. and its not like its bad for him to think that way but the ant literally all it wants to do is eat him. and gon still offers an olive branch. when you hear "too kind for his own good" its litearlly this-- hes going to die trying to talk no jutsu someone

#theres lots of reasons that gon has compassioni for his enemies. and i think that some of the biggest reasons is that because most of the t #time specaily in greed island his enemies have proven themselves to be. Okay people who were just . hurt inside. who were still human #binolt had a tragic childhood #genthru still cared for his friends #razor something with razor i forgot about his thing but it was something with ging #just stuff. and i think that clouds gons judgement and he thinks any opponent he has has some Good in them and they deserve compassion #and again. hes a kind boy its good thinking but hes mostly pitted against people that want to kill him #since i will take any opportunity i can get to shit on hisoka i think its also partially hisokas fault that gon has so much compassion for #people that litearlly want to kill him because hisoka wanted to for a long time (i dont believe he does for multiple reasons now) but at th #the same time he saved gons life multiple times and was helpful to him --in gons mind-- for no reason #i think. specially the dodgeball game showed all of that #and that amplified by everything he went through in greed island developed his mindframe into stretching out a hand for the enemy #not to mention kite greets him by shooting at him and then gon gets so attached to kite #im so. concerned over this greed little kid #gon freecss #hxh #i litealrly have soooomjuch homework i would rather psycho analyise gon. im cold i want a blanket
