Seeing a lot of people hating on Simon for being selfish when it came to Betty, and like, yeah, he was, but also I really dont think he noticed? Like, i feel like he was more oblivious than selfish, which makes him come off as selfish instead, because he didnt notice how much Betty was giving up for him. And I have a feeling if he DID know he wouldnt have let it continue. (Like in the scene where hes confused on why he would go on the bus with Betty i dont think he realized that she was giving something up for him, he was just excited to have her.) Hopefulllyyy he realizes how much shes done for him bcs she really did do like. Everything. For him. Like obviously they love each other and its cute and sweet but Betty being so sacrifical was definitely a huge issue djsksk (when she probably didnt even need to be, i think he would dig to hell with her if she asked)
