oh is it weird i see a lot of them in each other. she's much more ready to use her teeth but bj admires it. doesn't really... agree with what she does, a lot of the time, but he gets it.

the leniency he gives for people just trying to survive, man. bj would get it, and he would not hold it against her or think any less of her for it. even if he's at a point where he's trying to keep his nose clean, he'd look the other way for her. might even help her, a little, as long as it was something he believed would be a one-off and wouldn't keep him in trouble.

HOW DID I GET HERE (hcs7)

This page was the winner of 6 other compositions (censored — one day they will be posted in their own time). It takes direct inspiration by the theming of Bdubs’ HCS7 thumbnails in the comic-book style, particularly the episode Bdubs get his iconic big beautiful eyes and smile x]

IN THE NICK OF TIME (3L)

In another universe- the right portion of the set would have been a continuation of the S7 theme, imitating that of an actual magazine spread with recaps and shit (rejected— too much research u_u)

The happenings of HCS7 and 3L overlap, and I wanted to visually show that mirror transition between the two series. The 3L page for that reason was harder to manage without being too different or too underwhelming to its HC37 counterpart. This page is dedicated to his season finale POV of 3rd Life ft Day 1 Crew (and Tango)

Neil, how did/do you deal with feeling like you’re spending your limited life doing the hard work of making some person with money’s creative vision real? By the time you were in your early 30’s you were already off on Sandman and Good Omens, but what were the projects where you had very little creative control and/or weren’t making particularly good money like for you? How the hell did you manage so very much so quickly in life, Neil? u_u

I don't ever remember having that feeling. I only ever wrote one book I didn't come up with and wouldn't have wanted to read, which was the Duran Duran biography, published when I was 24, and I looked at it as a way of working with the publishing company and getting into print, and learning my craft. When the publisher went into involuntary bankruptcy, two or three weeks after the book went on sale, and despite it having been a huge sell-out hit I realised I would never see any royalties, I decided that I wouldn't ever do that again - work on something just for the money, because if you don't get the money then you don't have anything. I'd only work on things I wanted to do and loved, because if I didn't get the money I'd still have something I was proud of. I think it was a good lesson to learn early.

Cassidy is a werecat, right? I wish I knew more about her and Fernando, they're both so super epic 😼‼️

Yes, Fernando afflicted her. She asked him to, and it took him a long time to agree to it, but she's a rare one-- many non-werepeople despise or regret their transformations. Not her though, she loves the feeling of freedom and feralness it gives her.

As two well adjusted werecats, she and Fernando get by very well in the post-Fault world.

She likes coding and a lot of computer magic stuff, and helps Fernando out with a lot of his projects. As such, she is the most well acquainted with Hannah out of all of his friends.

Cassidy also decided to move up to Corlane just a little earlier than Fernando and Hannah did, because of several reasons but most importantly so she could continue to stay close to them.

She's a free spirit and doesn't tie herself to a lot of personal objects, other than a portable beef brick of a laptop. She quite enjoys a nomadic lifestyle, and so she super thrives after the Fault.

Thought it was convenient for Hannah that they moved so close to her best friend Tim, Fernando wanted to move to Corlane to be closer to his own mother. He could not locate her after the Fault, nor could he locate Hannah either. He was lucky enough to be with Cassidy and other friends at the time of the Fault, but is left to wonder if his mom is still out there, and if he'd ever get to see his step sister again u_u.

IWTV S2 Ep7 Musings - Loustat Ep4 Revisited (Spoilers)

Underneath the distorted Mind Spell audio effect you can barely hear Les say something about "the lies said by Louis;" but the subtitles don't pick it up.

NO, the COVEN wrote that script and did that. Lestat's COMPLICIT only cuz he's tryna SAVE Lou from the mess YOU put them in by selling them out to Santiago, Armand! You stood by and let them be abducted & dragged on stage, when YOU have the Fire Gift! You coulda lit them all up like matches! But you AND Lestat wanted Claudia out of the picture!

Louis finally not wearing black in Dubai; he's in dark blood red. 👀

HOW, if Les cant read your mind? I think SEEING Lestat and hearing his effed up account took Louis back to NOLA--not that Les was doing any Mind/Spell Gifts on Lou, literally taking him back to NOLA. It's a distorted memory, not astral projection or a hallucination.

Lestat like: "WE?" All of a sudden you wanna speak French at me with this OUI?

Ohhhh this is SINISTER, making Lou look he manipulated Les. The VOICE Jacob uses is tryna kill me--he sounds so simpering and soft and feminine, no deep bass whatever; they know wtf they're doing. XD Any other network and there'd've been a fullblown sex scene. 😅

Marius told him not to make vampires as young as Armand, but it had nothing to do with the Great Laws, and Lestat assumed it was just cuz ARMAND'S a poor vampire, in that silly cult. Les & Marius were more concerned about Christianity's effect on vampire moralism/depression/"self-loathing," and Les talked about LOUIS' anxiety--

--but as for Claudia he turned her CUZ HE'S A EFFING BRAT who only ever does what HE wants to do, eff anyone else.

I nearly had heart attack, thinking the coven was gonna say Louis' her Maker--the LAUGH I was gonna make, omg. 🤣 Cuz the humans can't call them on that, cuz what do THEY know about maker/fledgling blood and not being able to read minds?

The coven has her diaries when she said this, so I think this was all scripted; not something he really said--though ofc he could've read it in her mind when he rescued her, and genuinely felt this way, cuz ofc he would--he wanted/needed her to think he was a good person.

I DO wonder if a bit of this was true, about Louis feeding Claudia his blood, cuz these AMC's vamps are wildly inconsistent about healing. Their blood has strong healing powers--as we see in S2E5 when Armand fed Louis after his suicide attempt by fire, and in Ep6 after his suicide by slitting his wrists after making Madz. So ofc Louis might try to heal Claudia by bleeding on her & letting her drink.

These 2 frames back to back are precisely Louis' issue--he don't know wtf is going on. U_U

I don't think Lou did; he was very candid in S1 about how he cried & pleaded, and Les saying she'd be their daughter. The important difference is the inclusion about the Great Laws, and how that implicates them. It doesn't matter that Louis already knew she'd be stuck 14 forever & didn't care--if he didn't know Lestat was 100+ and stuck 34 forever, then he's a fool. Wanting an eternal child to baby & pamper & dote on is way different from intentionally breaking the law.

No love, that's the guilt talking! They were scrambling your brains RIGHT THERE ON STAGE; take this with a grain of salt; 74 years have provided A LIBRARY OF CONFUSION!
