anyways! that's pretty much what it is when it comes to college and frankly? i just wanna get it over with like literally the only highlight to it is seeing my friends and spending time with my boyfriend 😭 but!! a social science major sounds cool! i'd say you have some pretty good goals set in mind and you can always take up a minor if you want to pursue the others :> (i did consider having music as a minor) and sure! the courses depend on what you pick really and the college/professor, online is just about the same as in-person if you have a lot of reading on a pc to do tbh. english classes are well. kind of like the ones in high school but college-leveled. just make sure you give yourself enough time to do assignments bc they can be painful :"D

With no time to react to the blade coming down, the knife cuts the side of your pinky knuckle. Arthur feels like shit, and immediately scrambles to your medical aid. In the meantime, you’re out here attempting to come up with an excuse for why you have a balisong in the first place

Afterwards, Dazai helps you keep your hobby a secret from the rest of the residents. You want an hour to practice or something? He’ll come up with some outlandish excuse that convinces Sebastian to give you time off

While he doesn’t show much interest about learning to use it himself, Dazai enjoys watching you practice tricks in your room

He describes it nothing less than mesmerizing, and often lays on the floor while you show him new tricks. It may sound cheesy but he finds something so beautiful in the way you can effortlessly twirl and spin your knife around

If you manage to complete a particularly complicated trick, he’s so proud of you and will clap if you do so in front of him

the first thing u need to know about reed would prob be that his broodyness and lack of emotion regulation (#whaddupDBT) is due to his mother passing away when he was young

his mom died from a drunk driving car crash. and she was the one who had been drinking. this happened when he was 9, and he was in the backseat. reed blames himself bc it was around nine o’clock on a friday and, per his mother’s request, he had finished his homework early. (she had bribed him with ice cream) the accident happened on the way to dairy queen.

reed’s father tried to make up for her death by coddling his son and giving him everything he asked for and more

(think a lowkey version of chuck bass’ extravagant lifestyle)

his dad is president of harvard, as stated above, and wanted reed to go there, too, and make something of himself. he wanted reed to study medicine and become a doctor, but this was not the route that reed wanted to take

wanting space from his dad and boston - where his memories of his mom were (he has ptsd) - reed decided to go to georgetown. he picked law bc he thought it’d be nice to make a lot of money lol

he shut himself off after his mom died; it was easier to avoid feeling at all than to feel everything all at once. and when his emotions started to get the best of himself, reed took after his mother and tried to numb them with alcohol. in some way, he wanted to feel closer to her and understand why she liked drinking so much. sometimes he felt like she had loved alcohol more than him.

he has ptsd from the car crash and also gets panic attacks. any depressive episodes that he has stems from that, and they consist of reed feeling completely numb, which weirdly is a relief for him. it can get scary, though, when there are days or sometimes weeks that go by when he doesn’t smile or laugh. 

the amnesty protest incident

reed was talked into going by his friend emma, who promised to be his wingwoman at a party that weekend only if he came along

so he did. he watched from the sidelines, for the most part, which is why he wasn’t injured when the bombs went off. his friend died, and reed buried the grief from losing her down deep inside him, as he had done so expertly with his mother’s passing.

he didn’t quite know what to make of gallagher; he thought it was a weird school, but it was a change of scenery, and reed was always grateful for that when something major in his life happened.
