"watch a video!" they say. and that would be ok advice if it wasn't for the fact that videos don't always match peoples learning styles.

Like i need a new PC. everyone tells me to build my own instead of buying a pre-built. I've never built a PC before. People tell me to watch youtube tutorials. I have a consistent struggle with youtube video tutorials on this sort of thing because I'm unable to ask clarifying questions. If i buy PC parts and the videos don't work then im screwed and down hundreds of dollars.

#text #and i dont do this to make it harder on them #i need them to undertand that videos are a gamble that i might not be willing to take #it would be ideal to have an ACTUAL PERSON there to teach me because i can ask questons if i get lost confused or do something wrong #i cant do that with a video #im blindly trusting a video to tell me everything i need to know in a way i'll understand and just hoping it all turns out okay #not even to menion i don;t know SHIT about parts and ppl just tell me “look up specs on games” LIKE THAT ISNT HELPFUL #IDK IF ANY OF THAT IS CONSIDERED GOOD OR WHY #it's just frustrating to constantly be told to learn through videos when it just doesnt work for me
