idk how to explain this well LOL but that entire scene of them two together really characterized ellie so well like she’s just really timid and soft and so so careful with people she cares about

i’m always gonna be sad that we never got small sequences with her and cat bc that’s when i feel like the softer aspects of her was at its peak(that little entry when they kissed for the first time made me cry and scream)

Replaying the game with some new things in mind, some extra information and POVs and I find it funny how many dog and kid parallels Connor got (including cut content). The dog one I don't needa explain, it's literally he being on a leash called Amanda/CL (honorable mention to "always keep ya head down for humans" 🫢).

And also how he's often confronted with mfs being parents/parent figure or having a guardian relationship with a kid, esp androids.

I mean, Daniel and Emma,Kara and Alice, Hank and Cole, Chris and Damien...

In my opinion I think it's easier, narratively speaking, Connor becoming a dad or a father figure/guardian to kids than wanting to have a father or see someone as his father, or even being a son to someone 😂💀

Needa get myself relaxed so Imma be playing the Sonic Adventure games. I'll probably be documenting this in posts as I go, even though I've already played both games. But hey, they're fun to replay and it's chao garden time. ÒvÓ

main points:

- wake up at 6:30am and help sheena with AP calc until 9am

- sleep from 9:30am-1pm

- leftover wawa sandwich for lunch and DJI mavic air drone stuff!!

- watch my own gameplay on elite smash from last night and first time doing actual analysis on my own gameplay. i roll a lot

- dinner with the fam

- smash ultimate practice

- fortnite with jonah and his friend, then josh and bryan

today i:

- woke up at 6:30am to my alarm. i had gotten 4 hours of sleep from 2:30am. i was really tired waking up and kind of disoriented

- went downstairs and made some oatmeal + pb + banana. dad also made some eggs + scallions, the classic meal i had for breakfast in high school

helped sheena with her AP calc homework from 7am-9am. i showed her the khan academy videos on chain rule and then explained it to her. then also some general tips that my physics teacher taught me in high school (i.e. identify what you want to find and what you’re given). we went over some examples of product rule and quotient rule. then also the trigonometric function derivatives. and then finally power rule examples and chain rule examples

sheena left for school around 9am for her quiz

- mom came downstairs and she talked to me a bit about her presentations for work and how they’re going. then i went back to bed around 9:30am and woke up at like 12:30/1pm. i set an alarm for 11:30am... but then snoozed it and it never went off...

- i got out of bed and heated up the leftover half of my chicken salad sandwich from wawa. it was gr8. then my mom went swimming around 1:45pm and i pulled out the DJI drone to see if i could set it up. i followed a tutorial to try to understand how all the controls work. took off all the stickers and such for the drone. also set up the controller. then i had to download and update the firmware like 2 times for some reason and the compass. and then i took it into the backyard and went on my first maiden flight!!

it was sooooooo cool. it’s so smooth. the gimbal does a really good job. also even with a slight breeze it was able to counter all of the movement very well so that it stayed in place. i flew it around for like maybe 10 minutes and then the battery was down to like 20% so i landed it and took it back inside to charge the battery

i took 4 minutes of 2k footage at 60fps and watched it on my laptop. it’s like 3gb. and it can go up to 4k... but yeah that’s pretty dope. i was in beginner mode cause i was so paranoid that i’d crash it

i watched some youtube videos about how to make the footage more cinematic and what camera settings to use for the drone. then the battery was charged again and i went out to the backyard to fly again. this time i disabled beginner mode and tried cinematic mode and tripod mode. then when i previewed the footage i was suggested a generated montage and it actually turned out pretty cool so i shared it with my parents and then the fam on wechat. the footage movement is buttery smooth and it’s so stunning :O so cool!! i really wish i brought it with me to death valley that would’ve been amazing

- around 4pm i came back upstairs and downloaded 6-7 replays from elite smash last night to try to analyze my own gameplay. i want to start spending more time on smash and getting more serious/trying to improve. when i played smash 4 it was kind of more just for fun. then i took on melee this past summer and i got more competitive about it (in terms of practicing tech and learning how to be a good player). and now with ultimate i can take my intuition from smash 4 and my mentality for melee tech to try to get good at this game

fyi i play falcon

i roll a lot, use down-b in situations when i shouldn’t, and just in general make choices without reacting to my opponent. i also should use back airs more. more optimal out of shield options like jumping or dashing instead of rolling, etc. after watching like 3 replays of myself i started to read what i was going to do which is bad LOL. but good that i’m able to notice it from the replays

- around 6:30pm dad finished making tofu, bok choy and some fish for dinner so we all went downstairs and ate. it was delicious :D except the ground beef for the tofu was more american/italian tasting with some red spice cause dad didn’t have time to get the ground beef from asian super markets. it was an interesting taste... but yeah i prefer the asian beef

showed my dad an indoor demo of the DJI drone. i was so paranoid i was gonna crash it somewhere but it was fine. whew. then i washed the dishes and talked to my dad a bit

- went upstairs around 8pm and practiced smash ultimate with falcon with my new knowledge i learned from watching my own replays. i played against level 9 CPUs and tried to throw out more back airs for spacing. i also caught myself whenever i rolled (near the ledge) so that’s good. then i decided to just go into training mode to practice the short hop back flip. short hop back air. short hop nair. when i short hop nair forward, sometimes it turns into knee, so i needa fix that too

i unlocked some more characters like snake, pichu, lucas and meta knight (since i’m still playing on the new nintendo account)

also while training i hopped on a call with josh chris and trevor on discord. i haven’t talked to them in a really long time!! it’s nice hanging with them. i kind of went inactive for the semester (like i usually do) at school but now that i’m back we can play video gamez

i’m updating fortnite right now at 10:07pm. chris and josh are playing final fantasy online on PC. i’m gonna take a shower and then hopefully bryan and trevor will be back and the 4 of us can play squads in fortnite!!!

i haven’t played on my PC in like a month or two so this should be fun

update:

i played fortnite with jonah and one of his friends in a few rounds of team rumble. that was pretty dope. then played two rounds of squads with josh and bryan. then i went to sleep :p

goodmorning sleepyheads , how did you sleep? did you have your puppy stretch into your sides and scratch at your blanket all night so he can get warm? ........(yes my puppy is a character) grab yourself some coffee and breakfast and lets get to the point 😊 who loves pokemon? cause surely i do , who is excited for next weeks release of pokemon diamond and pearl ? whats your favorite all time hands down pokemon game? whether its old or remake gotta say they are all good 😅 cant decide (thats just me being undecisive) lately ive been wanting to replay some of my old pokemon games like pokemon Y or mystery dungeon at least until the release date 😁 anyways needa start my day off with some breakfast and some animal crossing *hint hint next topic* 😉😄 whats your favorite pokemon? mine is Haunter but also Abra.......but then Evee (dammit my undecisiveness) 😅 well talk to you guys later needa try and get my day started 😴😊🙃

- brunch

- CSDS group project work 

- 3 mile run

- dinner

- spiderman homecoming

- fortnite

today i:

- woke up around 10am, then lazed around for over an hour in bed and then some on my computer

- went to west dining hall around 11:30am. watched another episode of the office S3E9 “The Convict” and then a bit of episode 10 with the christmas episode. man i love the office, such a wholesome show. the dining hall was pretty terrible. not a whole lot of options except some pasta that i liked. got a sandwich as my main meal

- came back, dimitri was hosting a party for alex’s birthday. they were going day drinking at seaport. i worked on adding some small stuff to the CSDS group project like a viewall option and adding more helpful print statements

- worked on CSDS stuff until like 4pm. then dimitri and his friends headed out to seaport. i took a long shower and then chilled for a bit. then got changed and headed out for a run. i ran 3 miles again, 1.5 going down the esplanade 1.5 coming back. it was super nice out today, which was amazing. the trees were blooming and i took a bunch of pics. i finished in like 31 minutes or so. 

- showered once i got back, went to canes to eat with brian from 7:30pm - 8:30pm ish. we were just chilling. brian was tired cause he did a bunch of mobile app dev stuff for our group project. and also we were just kind of bored. i wanted to go out and do something for the night cause it was so nice out but he was feeling ded. 

- went back to my apt. decided to watch spiderman homecoming.

it was a p good movie, i really enjoyed it. 10/10 in my book. i really liked the interrogation scene with donald glover. now all i need to watch is black panther before watching infinity war. 

- watched it from like 9pm - 11pm. then watched some fortnite cinematics. i figured there’d be some cool and innovative stuff coming out with the new replay system and i found some great videos (the first one just showed up in my feed)

The last one (wonderful world) is fking epic 

- hopped on and played some fortnite. i played 50v50 solo cause no one else was on. trevor bryan josh weren’t on. dimitri was out. brian was on the phone. soooo i just messed around a bit. then i played like two solo games and dimitri came back from watching infinity war around 12:30am. he was so hyped about the movie. i really wanna see it but i needa watch black panther first.

- we played duos fortnite until like 2:45am ish. i was tired, i needed some sleep. 

we were close in our last game and tried to do a really cool strategy. i rushed this duo on one side and pressured them with RPGs and then dimitri would sneak up behind them to catch them by surprise. but it fell apart cause one of the other people messed up his build and landed on dimitri. they got into a build off and started shooting at each other. then dimitri got really unlucky cause the enemy put a roof over his head, trapping him inside the 1 by 1. he shot through the enemy’s placed down roof with his shotgun and on the last one, just as the roof broke, the other enemy teammate fired an RPG perfectly into the 1 by 1 which basically got him down to little to no health. then the original guy he was fighting knocked him. i kept putting pressure with my RPG but i was scared now cause dimitri had gotten knocked. instead of pushing (i realized this afterwards), i started backing down. i should’ve rushed as soon as i knew dimitri had been knocked cause that means at least one of the enemies would’ve had their attention focused on him, if not both. welp. ya live and you learn

i crashed afterwards
