The coyotes are awful bold tonight and we have a newly crippled kitty who refuses to become a house cat.
Coyotes: *prancing outside the dog yard, taunting the dogs*
Me: *opens gate*
#before you come at me#i only let out my dog who is specifically bred for guarding against canids#his coat is so thick and long that its nearly impossible for other animals to reach his skin with their teeth#plus he has some big chompers of his own#coyotes dont stand a chance#and unlike our hound cross he wont chase the coyotes halfway across the county#my lad stays close to home#i legit went out like 10 minutes later let out one short whistle and he came back from the inky black within 30 seconds#he knows what hes doing#hes a guard dog#starfish says
