Idk tumblr we need to start reading through comment threads if we're going to jump in at the end of a conversation when the person we respond to has already conceeded they made a mistake in their original comment and clarified their original intentions/specified the meaning behind the OG comment. I've seen it happen several times now and it's made me much more hesitant to start replying to conversations without reading the whole thing first.

#if a person admits when theyre wrong why go on about the mistake they made #it feels vindicative after a certain point #if u read the whole thing and then you see they haven't taken accountability #u can jump in and hold them accountable #but idk if they say ur right this doesnt apply here im just frustated about xyz idk why u gotta harp on them #i read thru a post and the comment thread took a wildly classist turn that i felt embarrassed on their behalf #sometimes its alright to just walk away
