Although I know next to nothing about your turn to die, the idea of putting the eclipse characters in that setting is quite intriguing 🤔 how do you think it could go? Who'd be the first to perish? If you haven't accounted for me as the second member of the audience of such a story, then I claim a third seat in the theatre haha

Shoot, mine is only 6-7 hours-ish, I need to stop hyper fixating on singular songs in my quest 😅 don't know exactly what kinds of music you enjoy, but if you want recs then I can share the song I've had stuck on my mind for the past two days - it's anberlin's "body language" and if you're as much of a goner over Ayan's emphasis on having open, honest communication with Akk, then you might see why I've been obsessing over it lol

Your Turn To Die is SUCH an interesting AU and I think it would go either really, really badly or really well, depending on your perspective. From a story standpoint I think the AU would be absolutely fantastic because in my opinion, most if not all of the characters from The Eclipse would be absolutely willing to lie and kill to keep themselves and/or their loved one(s) safe. (Also, in this AU, all of them already know each other (minus Ayan) so that adds another layer because in the actual game, most of them are strangers).

If we follow the actual game's thread, the first character to die in the actual Main Game is Joe Tazuna, who sacrifices himself for the player/Sara. In that sense, let's say we consider Akk to be the player character - I think the first to die would absolutely be Wat (my beloved I am so sorry). He's loyal to his friends and also smart enough to be able to maneuver the situation in (mostly) his favor.

But if we just look at the Eclipse characters, then I think the first to die would be Namo - because I think he would try to protect himself but ultimately, his admiration and loyalty to the others would win out and he would let himself be targeted.

In a typical death game scenario, who do you think would be the first to die?

I was lazy and didn't tag my ocs so let's have some fun and answer for a few of them:

Noara Starspark:

This might sound like a joke but really I believe Noara would love upbeat, fast paced music that isn't love ballads or inspirational movements. So much of her life is those big moments and speeches that she doesn't need that set to music... so really I think she would love a Star Wars version of What Does the Fox Say by Ylvix. (What Does the Akk Say" maybe?"). Its fun and silly, encourages dancing and making loud noises and after a long mission or another lecture from the Jedi Council I think she could really use that for some stress relief.

Jurr Jiin Jadon

Make it Up by Sam Tsui is basically her theme song, and she would sing it loudly and often (usally dancing around and forgetting she was holding a paint brush ending in flecks of paint flying everywhere) except she would never be able to remember the lyrics. For my poor amnesia prone cyborg (with implants that just cannot be trusted to keep her mind steady) every time she hears this song it feels like the first time.

Dubaku Eze

If anyone is not the regualr job, 9 to 5, wake up on Monday morning and face a new week of work kind of guy its Dubaku so naturally his favorite song to sing while cleaning his blasters is Could Have Been Me by The Struts. If he could talk Mako into helping him attatch speakers to his jacket (she has told him no, repeatedly, because she knows he would abuse the ability to create his own soundtract).
