watching other pilots videos on their N-3 Pups to learn more about what I'm getting myself into with the one I'm trying to rebuild

kinda cryin at how cute it's going to be if I ever do get it finished 😭💕

even the little 2 cylinder engine sounds adorable 🥺💕💕 tho mine will have a full VW cause it's a little bit bigger having space for a passenger (actually it's designed to be an ultralight trainer plane) and heavier having aluminum spars in it's folding wings

#i reeeallly hope i can get that engine running tho #its been sitting in the elements since like 2009 #i know i shouldnt trust a vw in a plane but i think if i get it set up just right #i can average between 1.5-2gph at a cruise speed of 90-100mph- which #or basically 50-60mpg on a 4cyl vw engine built in the 1960s B)#if i plan just right I could probably make 500-700 miles on 1 fueling maybe more if i catch tailwinds but thats pushing luck #granted itd take 8 hours but thats 8 hours of flight experience time & itd still cost 3/4s less than an airline or car trip #aaah the possibilities of fun and the fact i could just fly to work instead of worrying about #how id afford to move near a major airport for stable work would be amazing #that's the major thing im worried about after school rn bc starting mechanic work is lkike 14-15hr #and all apartments near either of the 2 nearby major airports are like 2k a month ;_;#bleh ill figure something out i hope .-.#planeposting #Youtube
